A few minutes later, Emily starts talking to herself.

Enzo is startled by Liz's words and leaves the room disturbed. He knows she is hallucinating about him and drives off in his car at high speed. He goes home and takes a shower, punching the wall several times until his hand starts bleeding. Enzo's mind is tormented because he knows Liz is not pregnant but doubts her whereabouts.
He returns to the hospital and Liz is awake. She is talking to Cecilia with a smile, but when she sees Enzo, her innocent and kind expression turns dark and somber. Liz is not the same as before, even her pale, happy face has turned cold and sad.
Enzo: Cecilia, could you give us some privacy, please?
Cecilia: Alright, I'll come back later, my dear. Rest well.
Liz: Thank you, Ceci.
Cecilia leaves and Enzo stands in front of Liz with his hands in his pockets, expressionless. He looks at Liz who is staring at the closed window.
Enzo: How are you feeling?
Liz: Why ask if you don't care?
Enzo: I'm asking.
Liz: I'm fine...
Enzo: Why did you do that, Liz?
Liz: I'd rather die than live this life of humiliation.
Enzo: I know I made a mistake by hitting you, but you also contribute to this, Liz. Going out all week and still meeting the other guy on weekends.
Liz: Does it even matter if I say it's a lie? No, right? So believe whatever you want.
Doctor: Excuse me, Mr. Monet, I have already signed her release papers and she can go now.
Enzo: Thank you.
Cecilia: Let me help you, dear.
Cecilia helps Liz to stand up and they leave for home. As soon as Liz arrives, she goes to her room and falls asleep, exhausted.
The next day, Liz wakes up on time and after getting ready, she goes to have breakfast.
Cecilia: Good morning, why didn't you stay in bed, dear?
Liz: I have commitments, Ceci. I'm already fine.
I have my breakfast and go to work.
Enzo has breakfast and becomes furious upon learning that Liz has left again. He goes to his office and makes a phone call.
Enzo: I have a job for you.
Detective: Please go ahead.
Enzo: I want you to follow this woman that I sent you a picture of. Her name is Liz. I want you to discover all her moves, everything she does, with whom, and where.
Detective: Alright, give me a week and the report will be in your hands.
Enzo: I'll be waiting.
Enzo hangs up and thinks in his office.
"Even when she's sick, she still meets him. I will catch you, Liz. You will see what happens to those who try to deceive me."
Enzo goes up to Liz's room and searches through everything. In the closet, he sees the box he gave her, and there are her cellphone, credit card, and bank account details. He finds it strange because they should be in her purse and being used. Stupid girl, do you really think I'll fall for this game? This is just attention-seeking, but you're nothing more than an opportunist and vulgar woman. Enzo thinks.
