Episode 5

In the middle of the night, Liz wakes up thirsty and goes to the kitchen. As she goes down the stairs, she hears a noise. When she arrives in the living room, she sees Enzo and a blonde woman having sex on the couch. The woman is not moaning, she is screaming.

Liz pretends she didn't see anything and quietly goes to the kitchen. On the outside, she appears calm, but inside she feels disgust and discomfort.

She takes a glass of water and goes back to her room. Enzo sees her passing by and says nothing, he just watches her. Liz casually walks by as if there was no one there and goes up the stairs.

Enzo remains motionless, unable to believe what he saw. He thought Liz would cause a scene and become angry, but it was completely the opposite. He can't even imagine that it doesn't matter to Liz, that she doesn't care.

Enzo: Get dressed, I lost interest.

Blonde: Oh no, babe, it was so good.

Enzo: I'm not saying it again.

Blonde: Let me sleep here at least, it's late and there are no taxis at this hour.

Enzo: Okay, the guest room is the third one.

Blonde: Thank you.

Upset, Enzo goes to his room and takes a shower, thinking about Liz's calm demeanor. After the shower, he lies down and tries to sleep.

Liz enters her room and releases all the air she was holding, lying down and going back to sleep.

The next day, Liz does her hygiene routine and gets ready. Today she's going to meet her mother and she's very happy.

After getting ready, she grabs her purse and goes to have breakfast. When she arrives at the table, she sees Enzo and the blonde having breakfast.

Liz: Good morning.

Blonde: Good morning.

Cecilia: Good morning, dear. Do you want me to prepare something for you to eat?

Liz: No need, Ceci. Everything on the table looks delicious.

Enzo doesn't respond to Liz's greeting and observes her reaction to seeing the blonde at the table. He thought it had been a scene, so he wants to see up close and face to face.

Seeing that Liz shows no emotion or irritation at any moment, his anger grows.

Blonde: Who are you?

Liz: I'm Liz, and you?

Blonde: I'm Carol.

Liz: Nice to meet you, you're very beautiful.

Carol: Thank you.

Enzo, when are we going to see each other again?

Enzo: Soon.

Carol: That's great, I missed you.

Liz eats calmly, and Enzo tries to engage with Carol but without success. This frustrates Liz even more, and Enzo becomes even more irritated when he sees Liz complimenting Carol.

Liz: If you'll excuse me, I need to go now.

Cecilia: You seem happy today.

Liz: Very, Ceci. I'm going to meet my mother.

Cecilia: That's wonderful, enjoy your outing.

Liz: Thank you.

Liz leaves, and Enzo punches the table out of anger, leaving everyone startled. He stands up and goes to the office. The blonde woman gets up and leaves.

Enzo's thoughts
