Chapter13: A Romod Beast

Nate, CIA, Mace and Cara head out for the beast hunting. After walking deep into what looked like forest they came across a Cave.

It was dark inside the Cave so Nate lit a torch, after walking inside the Cave for about an hour CIA and Cara sat down to rest on a rock nearby.

'Wow am so sorry guys looks like you guys are really tired and I forget both of you are not vampires or undead! ' Nate exclaimed.

They all sat down after a while they heard a squeaking sound Nate got up using his vampire sense and eyes he zoomed in where the sound was coming from, it was C rat like creature with dog body and mole like skin standing up to 6ft.

'System what kind of beast is this? ' Nate asked the system in his head

[System replying host... This is a Rodom, a combination of Rat-dog-mole, It's a Brank beast. There are about 10 hiding with this as there scout for finding food]

Nate heaved a sign of relief 'This isn't such a big problem! ' Nate exclaimed.

'Guys it's a Rodom a combination of Rat-dog-mole It's also a C rank so we need to give our best in other to kill them and they seems to be 11 of them! ' Nate shouted.

Immediately the group got up readied their weapons and moved forward,

When they came close to some meters away from the beast they looked like they where afraid and they started running towards the Nate and his group.

Everyone was prepared the one closest got near mace and he shouted

'Not again will I die and of such low tier beast! '. He shape shifted into a giant Gorilla Grabbed the beast by the neck and tried using his Nosferatu's powers to try separate it's head from the body .

'Wow this beasts body are kinda strong for a C rank beast! ' Mace exclaimed. after struggling with it for a while he finally managed to separate it he threw the beast body on the floor and went to help CIA .

Cia was rasing earth from the ground and shooting it at the beast, but it seems to not affecting them she then used her arrow but it bounced off once it touch the beast.

She then made a boulder and sent it toward the beasts , the two beast that where closer got smitten into the ground.

Cara made Ice cage trapping 3 of the beast, they started hitting the cage she threw ice spikes after ice spikes toward the beads in hit them but the injuries where just minor injuries which they didn't pay attention to.

She then started freezing them from the legs. 'Oh why is this one struggling I can't hold for long! ' Cara said with sweats on her face.

Mace jumped up holding two of Cias arrow stabbed the struggling one on the eyes , it squeaked in pain and was shaking it's head, Mace then took the arrows out and used it to stab the other two, then Cara used her ice spikes to slice their heads.

Nate ran forward using his blood swipe and his added strength from his Mist fight skill added to his body , he threw blood swipe after blood swipes killing four.

He then used his vampire jump took out his sword and lept to where the last beast was cutting it into two.

After killing all the Rodoms beasts the group stated gathering the beast crystals. 'Nate why don't you take the beast crystals it seems you need it more than we do! ' Mace said holding the beast crystals.

'Thanks guy I don't really need it we need to look for higher tier beast if we need to win the competition. But I know who needs it! ' Nate replied.

After replying he summoned his familiar and feed it the beast crystals, immediately the system started sounding in his head.

[wolfling-God-beast evolving, 2hours remaining...]

Nate de-summoned his familiar and the group started walking deeper into the cave hoping to find more high tier beasts.

After walking for some time the cave started opening up showing lights, indicated there was an opening.

The group started walking faster the cave was really creepy, when they were about to reach the opening, they heard a snoring sound.
