Chapter 4: Getting a Familiar

Nate stumbled upon something, he deactivated his mist blend. He got closer, and discovered it was a beast.

A little wolf puppy with wings. Nate was confused as he had never heard or seen any creature like this .

'System what kind of creature is this?

[System replying to host... This is a one of the most powerful mystical pet creature from centuries ago, it was thought to be extinct. It's the combination of Wolf and eagle called Wofling-God-Beast. It is also a gaurdian beast ,it guards host against attacks .

Host is required to feed it his beast crystals for evolution and for host to make it his familiar, it would evolve into adolescence form .

Features of Wofling-God-Beast:

*Flying: can fly up to the sky. at this state it can only fly just 12ft up in the sky.

*Running: Runs up to 100Km/hr as it evolves. Due to lack of feeding it can only run 80KM/hr.

*Elemental abilities: It has Fire ,Air, Ice, and Earth abilities. Still yet to unlock, it's locked till the adult evolution.]

Nate was happy! He was going to get a Damn wolfling-God-beast familiar he quickly feed it with his beast crystals.

As soon as he was done it started evolving so Nate kept him in his mist void as it would look awkward carrying a beast around and also an unknown one.

He kept moving deep into the forest , till he got to the swamp . He saw a giant crab eating some fish he wanted to try back till he heard the system saying.

[New quest found defeat the Amateur crab beast to gain an instant levelup]

Nate was worried this is a fucking Rank D beast , how the **** was he supposed to defeat it ,and his still an F rank .

He trusted the system,and went for it .

He threw 3 blood swipes to the crabs shell, it didn't do anything to the beast shell. it just made it aware that it was under attack.

'Wow it's coming to me and very fast!

He use his Vampire jump to leap Into the air, he just leapt few meters away as he was still a halfling and not evolved.

The crab was still coming at full force, he then use his his mist block to create a wall of mist.

The crab kept hitting and his mist block was decreasing till it reached 5%.

He deactivated it and fight to boast his strength to 5%.

He threw another blood swipe and it finally made a crack appear on the crabs shell,he hurriedly use his knife leapt to the air and stabbed it .

The crab cried in pain, after few seconds of struggling it died , Nate began carving out the beast crystals from the crab.

['Amateur beast crystals gained,would host like to make it into an armour?']

Nate taught for a while and then said yes!

[ ..... Mission completed

Evolution has began...host would need blood after evolution.

... Evolution complete.

Strength: 5% host needs blood

Agility: 5% host needs blood

Blood Bank: 5% host need blood]

Nate was feeling week he quickly used his mist blend and hurried back to his room, where he had already kept some blood he stole earlier. After Drinking the blood,. the system continued.

Strength: 100%

Agility : 100%

Blood Bank: 100%

Ability: Dark matter mist Upgraded to level 2 ability user.

Vampire skills has been upgraded to level 2.

New skill unlocked:

* Mist drain: when used drains host opponents ability for 10minutes.Increases as host ability levels up ]

Nate was very happy as this is one of the best skill he had so far.He kept the remaining blood in his mist void for preservation and to be used when needed.

The rest of the years went on smoothly, Nate managed to reach up to Rank D. His new friends also Upgraded, Each reaching rank D also, while Cara upgraded to rank C.

After the Military academy, students where sent to another planet called Rench. Rench is a planet meant for training and hunting.

The beasts in Rench where from Rank D upwards. Nate and his friends where transported to Rench , and where showed to their rooms.

The boys had their own rooms, in which Nate ,Mace, Luke and Vic shared the same room.

While, Cara,CIA and 2 other girls shared the same room .
