Getting Ready

I could hear noises from downstairs and that’s when I woke up. It was already 5 in the evening.

“Oh god! It’s already late.” I hit my head which is covered with my frizzy hair. I rushed towards the washroom to take a quick shower…. Actually I might take a good bath because I’m still not sober after my sleep in the afternoon.

I get into my washroom and switch on the water to fill the tub, which would take at least twenty minutes. Until then, I put a sheet mask on my face.

Sheet masks have become a popular Korean Skincare nowadays and I too got attracted to it. Especially, it would obviously be popular when the ‘Hallyu Wave’ is spreading worldwide with many K-pop idols promoting them.

Finally, the tub was filled with water and I dropped my favourite baby bath bomb in it. I really like these, ‘cause they make me smell like a baby and they produce fun bubbles to play with. I removed my sheet mask and undressed myself. Then I comfortably seated myself in the bath tub enjoying the warmth of the water. I set an alarm for a twenty minute soak and drifted into my dreamland. ‘Ah..! This is so relaxing!’

Here I am standing, staring at my wardrobe choosing what to wear after drying myself. ‘Argh! This is the worst part of being a girl!’

I do have a lot of clothes to wear but I still feel clothes deprived. I kept on trying a few clothes and dresses. Lastly, I got the perfect one!

I wore it quickly. It was a Baby Pink coloured, A- line, Straight Across Neckline, Short evening dress. After wearing the dress, I put on some make up.

I put on some concealer on the T-Zone of my face and under my eyes to nullify my redness. I tried to do my eyebrows, put on my eyeliner and mascara. I put on a light pink lipstick on my plump pink lips and lastly to set it all, a mist. I set the front part of my hair in a side puff and secured it. Some of my bangs were let free and then, I let my long hair which was two inches below my bottom free.

Then, I put my favourite diamond studs on my ears and next, my baby pink block heels. Before leaving the room, I reviewed myself again and put on my baby cologne.
