Chapter 4

For a moment, everyone was in a trance and no one could believe what was going on! Xiao Zhou is a person with extremely good self awareness so it only took him a few seconds to snatch away the document from the hands of that boss who's still protecting him with his embrace and bleeding. His gang tried to pull him away but like something has possessed him, he refused to budge just simply holding Xiao Zhou tight. But Xiao Zhou didn't have time to think, he immediately pulled away from this strange boss's embrace and tried to run away with the document.

With their boss's injury, the hooligans seems to have no interest in getting back the documents and hence his mission could be said to be completed. This documents, they're more important to him, than to his teacher even. He took a long breathe and before he could walk further, he suddenly stopped on tracks and looked back. He saw that boss still looking at him with a painful expression in his eyes, still bleeding.

As a doctor, you cannot let someone die before your eyes, let alone someone who dodged the bullet for you.....

..... eventhough he's only a hooligan

With that thought, Xiao Zhou immediately rushed back and tried to lift up the boss using one hand and shouted at the assistant near him, "What are you standing and looking at! Are you going to let him die!!!"

The assistant snapped back into senses and stuttered, "..this.. with the hospital procedures... I..."

Xiao Zhou was furious, "Procedures my ***!! Did you think about procedures when you barged in! I'm a doctor myself! It's not yet the time where you teach me the procedures!", he pointed at the assistant, "You take of that hooligan mask and follow him as a friend and others just show yourself out of the hospital right now!.." before finishing he suddenly thought of something and said, "..No wait!" he pointed at the thief, "..You act as if you're running away and you all act as if you're chasing and run away as well. This matter ends here."

After instructing everyone, he walked over and with the help of that assistant he immediately brought the boss to the Emergency ward. His teacher who just relaxed himself from the panic attack saw the second one coming his way. He rushed towards Xiao Zhou, "Who is this person!!"

Then Xiao Zhou took a deep breath and lied without hesitation, "Teacher when I was searching for the thief, I saw this person who looked more or less like a family bodyguard, with my strength alone I cannot be able to defeat that thief so without saying anything about the report, I asked him and his crew of another 10 bodyguards who came for regular body checkup for help. But after we found the thief, we realised that guy had a gun! And once I got my hands on the report, he tried to shoot me but thankfully this person was near me and protected me", he sniffed and continued, "..Teacher, I let this man take the bullet for our sake.. I'm sorry", he started pretending to cry.

There were a lot of loopholes in his story after all why should someone unknown suddenly help a doctor and even take a bullet for him but the teacher doesn't bother exposing him because the main task of getting the report unscathed was successful.

He gently patted Xiao Zhou's shoulders and said, "It's okay Xiao Zhou, as a doctor, you cannot be anxious like right now. We'll carry out the operation, he will be fine. You want to enter the Operation room?"

For every doctor, their first operation is always an important one and more memorable but Xiao Zhou looked down at his hand covered with blood and suddenly his hand trembled sending shivers to his spine. He realised he couldn't do this Operation today. He lowered his head and shook his head.
