Episode 4 : Villains

“Hello little girl” Liang Shuo greeted once again, he means no harm but his voice says otherwise.

“Shui means ‘someone like water’ and Shuo means ‘unique and great achievement that brings wealth’, and you guys have the same last name so that means you are his family, perhaps a brother?” Mingxia asked. In response Liang Shuo nodded, the same smile never leaving his face, Fang Rui and the others observe the interaction closely.

“You and uncle Shui have the same hair but his eyes are peach yours are pure pink, you look just like uncle Shui! Well aside from the some things” She commented. “Who do you like more then?” Liang Shuo asked, “Well, your basically the creepy younger version of uncle Shui and what's more you're surrounded by black fog so you've done a lot of bad things, I choose uncle Shui, he treated me food so yeah, and don't get too close to me by the way, your smile is creepy” Hearing this the four young masters almost couldn’t help but laugh – Fang Rui, Qing Yuan, Liang Shui & Lu JIn.

Liang Shuo froze like a stone and imaginary cracks could be seen forming on his body, he knew he was no good but it still hurts coming from an innocent girl. “Yeah I am no good so don’t get close to me or I am gonna eat you like a big bad wolf” He said laughingly but his laugh stopped hearing her next word “No”. Everyone looked at her in surprise, “A person once told me every villains have their reasons, well I mean at least he said has one” Mingxia shrug and took another bite off her cake, “I thought you do not remember anything?” Fang Rui said. Mingxia giggled, “I had forgotten something not everything, you big fool! Hehehe.”

“Uh I’m really touched by what you said but is it just me or you're suddenly weird?” Liang Shui asked, he feels like there's something the girl isn't telling them about.

“Silly! I'm not weird” Mngxia said, yet again followed by a sweet giggle, one that sounded wrong in everyone's ears.

Before anyone could continue there was suddenly knocking on the door, when it opened a waiter came in, “Good evening gentlemen and my lady, I apologize for the interruption but the Ptichye Moloko and Pechenye Yabloki are here as requested by the sirs and lady” The waiter politely explained using english.

Ptichye Moloko – Chocolate-Covered Milk-Based Soufflé.

Pechenye Yabloki – Oven-Baked Apples.

Seeing the desserts, Mingxia's glee meter reached the sky.

“So then do you think villains are- ba- bad?” Liang Shuo hesitantly asked. “A person also once told me that a villain is an innocence no hero was able to save, a chess piece for a game where the mission is to make the hero the mightiest and the heroine a saint, but obviously no matter what you can't change the fact that villains have done lots of bad things” Mingxia answered.

Liang Shuo finally understands, there's no use fighting the hero because what she said was right. A villain was born to be mighty but only mighty enough for a hero to defeat so he could be seen more mightier. Just as she said, they're like chess pieces, all they could do is to not blindly walk to the path where all of the traps the person playing had laid.

“Yeah I've done lots of bad things, but am I truly bad?” Liang Shuo asked once again, gaining the silence of everyone but Mingxia. “I dunno, do I look like some wise man or something? What I said were things said by others, 'kay? What's more you can probably answer that better than me, are you a bad person in heart? Were the things you've done really for a bad cause?” Mingxia laughed him off and started taking a bite of the Ptichye Moloko.

Liang Shuo stood up holding wine and looked at the setting sun, ‘Were the things I did truly for a bad cause? Is everything purely because of greed?’ He asked himself, a lone smile spread on his lips, as his longing eyes closed. At that moment when the sun was setting a man stood by the glass window with a lonely expression together with four men seated on chairs also facing the sun and a beautiful lady with silky silver hair and violet eyes, all facing the setting sun aside from Fang Rui, ‘Maybe because I was born towards the sun that I don't understand’ He laid his head on the chair. A man of the sun will never understand how painful the child of the moon and stars life are, how lonely was that night when everyone laid asleep on their bed, with no one left to admire the night's beauty aside from the lonely.
