Adam did not expect Erwin to act that way, directly doubling the cost of dinner for everyone from one million to two million rupiah. With thirty people here, that equaled an expenditure of sixty million all at once, and Erwin did not hesitate in doing this, a move that truly surpassed Adam's expectations.

Initially, Adam had thought Erwin would at least be frugal with his money, but to him sixty million might as well be three blades of grass to Erwin.

But as Erwin had stated, Adam wasn't among those thirty, and Erwin even humiliated him in front of so many people. However, two million for this dinner was nothing to Adam, so he quickly said to Erwin.

"I'll cover my own expenses, you don't have to worry about that." Seeing that he agreed to pay for himself, Erwin suddenly changed the subject again and smiled.

"Sorry, I've changed my mind now, what is someone like you doing at our reunion event? Please leave!"

The attendees were silent, for Erwin had abruptly ousted the young master of the Sun Group.

Shouldn't at least some consideration be given? This Adam is the second young master of the Sun Group, Erwin truly embarrassed Adam openly before everyone.

Turns out, as expected, Adam was very angry upon hearing this. “I was invited by Leticia, don't go too far.”

Adam never anticipated that Erwin would eject him or humiliate him in this manner.

“Well then, let's have the people here decide, if more than half agree, then I will allow you to stay." Erwin's mouth curved into a slight smile.

"Erwin, don't go too far, Adam was invited by me, he is the young master of the Sun Group, someone ordinary like you can't compare to him, aren't you afraid of offending the Sun Group?" Leticia was angry, and spoke with a hint of threat in her voice.

Her other friends didn't dare to speak at this point; if Adam took offense, the young master's vengeance would surely be terrible, so they all chose to remain silent.

“That little Sun Group doesn't even register on my radar.” Erwin smiled, showing no mercy whatsoever.

"What truth?” The attendees looked at Adam with curiosity filled eyes.

“It's about Erwin.” Adam smiled frostily; he had overheard all the conversations between Erwin and Daniel earlier. Initially, he had wanted to let Erwin linger a bit longer, but now he had changed his mind, because leaving Erwin alone would soon lead to even more outrageous behavior.

“About Erwin? What's happened?” The friends became intrigued.

Erwin was very calm, he was truly not afraid of threats from this second young master.

“Actually, Erwin here is nothing but a pauper; the Ferrari he drove today is borrowed or rented, he's also long since lost his job and can't even afford his rent. The reason he could pay for today's reunion is because he won a lottery of billion rupiah, but he's already spent six hundred million, so he is just a poor man pretending to be wealthy before everyone."

After Adam said this, a touch of pride appeared at the corner of his mouth, a sense of satisfaction filling his heart.

As his voice fell, the attendees at the venue were in an uproar, the truth being revealed that the Ferrari was merely a prop for a wealth façade greatly diminished Erwin's image and support among his friends.

“If you've lost your job, why not just be honest? There's no need to borrow a Ferrari to put on a show of wealth."

"So the Ferrari was just borrowed, and he still pretends to be rich here! This is really bad."

Andre, the class president who saw the situation flip instantly, was pleased, and quickly stood to move closer.

"Erwin, if you don't have the money, then don't borrow someone else's Ferrari to pretend to be wealthy, we're all classmates from college days, isn't this a bit excessive? Also, we won't look down on you."

"Right, it doesn't matter if you're not successful, but pretending to be wealthy in front of us all is indeed your fault."

The attendees' views of Erwin were no longer the same, each chose to distance themselves one by one.

Erwin reached out his hand to stop Daniel, unhurried and slightly smiling.

"If you want to know whether my Ferrari is borrowed or not, you can just call and ask the dealership, right? Is there a need for guesswork here? There's only one store in Bandung that sells cars this luxurious. Others might not know the phone number of that shop, but Adam, you should know the number of the luxury car dealership."
