Episode 9

"Hello, Young Master, my name is Anita. From now on, I will be overseeing all of your day-to-day life." A girl named Anita, dressed in a maid's costume and sporting a cute, comic-book-character-like face, bowed respectfully to Erwin.

Being attended to by such a beautiful and adorable maid assured Erwin a future filled with delightful living!

"Come in, I'm actually hungry. Prepare something for me to eat." Erwin ushered her inside, and being famished, he ordered her to cook something for him straight away.

"Very well, Young Master!" Anita promptly headed to the kitchen after setting down her belongings.

Meanwhile, Erwin lounged on the sofa, bored, fiddling with his phone, opening Facebook, and eager to see what was new with his fiancee, Jocelyn.

"I wonder if she's released any new songs lately."

Finding Jocelyn's Facebook was no trouble for Erwin, and seeing her fan count over 10 million gave him a bit of a shock. He knew of her fame, but the vast number of fans still startled him.

"What will her fans think if I marry her in the future?"

Erwin patiently scrolled through Jocelyn's Facebook updates, which mostly consisted of food, selfies, along with her song recording process and related singing content.

Despite Jocelyn being the daughter of the Taylor Group with a wealthy family background, she strived independently, relying on her looks and talent in the entertainment industry. Jocelyn also had no scandals or bad news to her name, showing a spotless reputation as a star, and was a gifted singer blending creativity with vocal performance.

"She could easily live off her father's wealth, but she chooses to forge her career with her looks and talent." Erwin was gradually growing fond of his fiancee. Not only was she beautiful, but also profoundly talented, arguably an angel of this nation.

The corners of Erwin's mouth lifted as he flipped through, and suddenly a new post about an upcoming concert caught his attention.

"There's a concert next month in Bandung City; this might be a terrific opportunity." Erwin decided to seize the concert as a chance to meet with her. His parents did arrange a marriage contract with Jocelyn, but he wished to become better acquainted with her before tying the knot.

Having finished browsing Facebook, Anita had prepared the meal, and Erwin put away his phone before proceeding to the kitchen, intending to taste the preparations of his lovely maid.

"Master, your meal is ready, please enjoy," Anita obediently presented the food to Erwin, watching him with hopeful eyes.

Sitting down, Erwin glanced at the spread: three plates of food and a bowl of soup – rica-rica chicken, pecel lele, and tomato egg soup.

The dishes appeared incredibly appetizing, making Erwin's mouth water incessantly.

"This looks delicious; let me taste it." Erwin sampled the rica-rica chicken, finding its sweetness and tang bursting in his mouth, its meat tender – even superior to any restaurant offering.

"This dish is properly made, sit down and join me for the meal."

Erwin nodded with satisfaction at the taste. Simultaneously, he invited Anita to share the meal, but she shook her head, insistent that a maid must not dine at the same table as her master.

"Alright then." Erwin conceded without argument, realizing Anita had been trained to be a professional maid, and he didn't press further. Particularly hungry, he devoured the meal voraciously.

Anita silently smiled as she observed Erwin eat with such gusto, then quickly resumed her endearing composure.

"By the way, Anita, I heard from Manager Caesar that you're quite versatile?" Erwin inquired mid-meal.

"That is correct. I have been trained to be a professional maid. I've made it through to the end amongst 1,000 professionals and was handpicked by Master Damon, so I am well-equipped to fulfill all of Young Master's daily needs," Anita stated seriously and confidently.

Erwin was slightly taken aback upon hearing Anita's words. He hadn't expected her to have been selected from a pool of a thousand professionals. It seemed Damon was indeed meticulous in this respect.

"So, what all can you do?" Erwin's curiosity was piqued about this chosen maid's wide range of capabilities. Few had the luxury of being served by such a maid.

"Besides cooking, I can take care of household chores, gardening, maintaining precious antiques, giving massages, playing the piano, speaking three foreign languages, assuming various roles, and more," Anita listed her lengthy array of skills, pausing briefly with a blush.

"As long as the Young Master requires, I am ready to meet every need, although there are still some areas where I lack experience."

Erwin was astounded, not expecting Anita to possess such an extensive range of skills warranting her selection from among 1,000 professionals.

"Well then, could you help me book tickets for Jocelyn's concert in Bandung City next month? No matter the cost, as long as I get a ticket," Erwin thought for a moment and handed over the challenging task of ticket acquisition to Anita.
