"How could he possibly afford to live there? No way, it's just not possible." Leticia was in disbelief that Erwin had managed to purchase Crown Villa in Oak Bay. With its sky-high price tag, only people with a significantly different wealth status could reside there. Even renting was out of the question for someone like Erwin.

"What sly trickery has this pauper employed!" Adam felt immense pressure in this moment. He thought he had secured a win over Erwin, but the situation had unexpectedly turned. Still, he couldn't believe Erwin could afford to stay at Crown Villa.

Only those of extremely high status could dwell within such walls; even his father couldn't manage it, much less a pauper like Erwin.

Adam pondered for a while and then crafted the most plausible hypothesis. "It seems this kid paid someone to stage the whole scene."

"Exactly, it must be so. There's no way he could afford Crown Villa. It's all an act he must have orchestrated." Leticia nodded as well, convincing herself of this narrative.

"By the way, isn't your college reunion the day after tomorrow? Make sure to invite me along; I have a way to unveil his rotten identity in front of his classmates, and then we'll see him pretend again." Adam's mouth curled into a smile once more. This time, he was determined to publicly humble Erwin; he wanted to see how long Erwin could keep up his rich façade before him. Adam detested more than anything when others feigned wealth in his presence.

"Of course, I haven't introduced you to some of my classmates yet." Leticia felt uplifted by the plan. Being the second son of Bandung's Sun Group, Adam was tall, wealthy, and handsome. Naturally, Leticia wanted to flaunt this in front of her classmates, especially the females, so they would envy her.

Erwin followed Caesar to the distinct Crown Villa area in Oak Bay, which was unlike the regular Oak Bay area. It was not only a single family villa zone but also had its own gardens and swimming pool, a sure sign of the ultra-rich residents.

Moreover, the security system at Crown Villa was extremely tight. Fortunately, Erwin was with Caesar; otherwise, a stranger like him wouldn't be able to enter at all.

"The residences of the rich are truly opulent." Under Caesar's guidance, Erwin walked around, sighing repeatedly at the sight of the lavish villas. He wouldn't have dared dream of entering this place before, but with his current identity, he boldly strolled through this affluent villa area.

Soon Caesar led Erwin to an ornately decorated garden villa. The garden was planted with various delightful and evidently expensive plants and flowers. The pool was enormous, approximately 100 square meters, with crystal clear water, and featured impressively a state-of-the-art water filtration system.

"The pool is huge." Erwin mused, the thought of swimming here at any time in the future excited him.

Caesar brought Erwin to the villa's front door and said with respect, "Sir, this is the face scan device for the gate. Please stand in front of it, and I will set it up for you. The door will open when you present your face to it."

"Alright." Erwin found this method of opening doors extremely sophisticated and stood in front of the device as Caesar instructed.

Carefully, Caesar helped Erwin to adjust the face scanning device, and soon after, a sound indicated the door was unlocked.

"Young Master Smith, the door is open." Caesar signaled him to enter and then helped Erwin with his luggage.

Full of curiosity, Erwin walked in and discovered the interior of the villa to be even more luxurious than expected.

Complete with a set of European-style furniture, a grand crystal chandelier, leather sofas, a spiral staircase, and various oil paintings adorning the walls, it was opulence personified.

"Isn't this decor a bit too extravagant?!" Erwin was taken aback. He never imagined living in such a splendid home.

"Young Master Smith, Mr. Damon has also arranged for you a butler to assist with your daily affairs, and he will arrive shortly," Caesar informed him respectfully.

"A personal butler?" Erwin nodded, just the thought of cleaning such a vast house was daunting, not to mention cooking, watering flowers, tending to the yard, and so on. This was not his area of expertise; it seemed Damon had arranged everything thoughtfully.

"Okay, you may go back to your work!" After Caesar left, Erwin explored the villa on his own.

The villa boasted two floors, over a dozen spacious bedrooms, lavishly adorned bathrooms, a recreation room, table tennis, VR facilities, office desks and chairs, and more, all of which made Erwin very enthusiastic.

"It's great to be wealthy."

After enjoying the virtual VR games for half an hour, Erwin felt a bit tired, so he stopped and chose the largest bedroom. Upon entering, he immediately lay on the soft European-style bed within.

Erwin rested on the bed briefly but was awakened by the sound of the doorbell.

"Who could be ringing the doorbell?" Erwin sat up, suddenly remembering that Caesar had mentioned a butler before leaving, so he hurried downstairs to open the door.
