Episode 3 | Short Dream

...The more she flee our country, the worse her punishments will become....

Following the harsh sanctions, Dionne was placed in an observation room. They intended to get to know her better than anyone else, therefore she was intended to flee the Ravendelle this morning but ended up receiving a harsh penalty.

"For once, this darn port won't let me escape!" I complained numerous times, and the interviewer understood my frustrations, but she had enough of me whining about this port.

She handed me some of the paperwork she had prepared for the interview and asked me to answer them all.

"What was the cause of your death?" says by the interviewer. Someone is whispering in my ear. That person is the same one I encountered on the street. I clearly don't know her, but I've chosen to learn more about her in hopes of making everything easier.

"My Mother," I dread to say, because I've never known about my mother since I was in the foster home. One more question from the interviewer.

"Did you have any idea why she did that to you?" I was close to cry when I heard those words. But the thing that irritates me is that I waited for her to find me, and that's exactly what I got after meeting her.

I'm guessing she acts as if she wasn't my mother.

"It's because she'd rather have a son than a daughter."

"Isn't it true that your previous life is terrible?" According to the interviewer. I agree with what that woman stated, but my tale isn't over yet. Two people will arrived in this observation room in a short time but they will be a little late.

"Has Unit Zero arrived?"

Were here to fetch her up "In the observation room, a few of bodyguards arrived.

They've come to take me away and put me in the isolation chamber, but despite what's been happening to me lately, I still refuse.

...Do you wish to flee?...

...[ Yes ] < [ No ]...

Escaping would be a good idea, but it would also be a bad one. The interviewer, as well as my security, are aware of my plans. "Do you know where is the bathroom is, Miss?" I muttered this as I tried to flee the room. The interviewer has no idea where it is, but she appears to be different than previously.

The interviewer grabbed my hand and pushed it open as I was about to open the door. After that, I'm in a little discomfort.

"I-I'm not sure" says by the interviewer. The bodyguards started knocking; they were getting anxious, but that didn't mean I couldn't get out of here. "There's a vent, I can see it close to the ceiling," says by me, struggling to reach the ceiling after the light went out.

The interviewer promised me that she would not leave the observation room because she knew I wanted to leave.

...Do you want to pick the mystery item?...

...[ Yes ] [ No ]...

...You only have 10 seconds to make a decision...

I'm unable to make a decision. What if I say yes? I believe I can utilize it to escape through th event.

...Do you want to pick the mystery item?...

...[ Yes ] < [ No ]...

...You've gotten your hands on a bomb!...

Is that a bomb? This isn't possible. I need to figure out how to keep this bomb from going off! But I'm not sure how. If I look at the system, the bomb was quick to detonate and it could explode at any moment.

...Ravendelle System...

The purpose of this message is to prevent the bomb from exploding.

Message: You have two minutes till the interviewer returns.

Isn't the Interviewer pretty quick? We don't have tome for that. I had to stop the bomb from exploding or else I'd have to spend another night in the isolation chamber.

But what if it goes off? Then I might not be able to observe the other Units as I had hoped.

...You just have half a minute to defuse the explosives....

No.. right now, I'm powerless to stop the bomb from exploding. There's only one more task to complete.

Stop the bomb, Unit Zero, or you'll die!

"UNIT ZERO!" exclaim the commander. From the isolation chamber, I heard a voice. It's not Unit Four, but I have no idea who that person is, so all I can do is wait. Despite what I've done here, I have yet to meet any of the Units from those isolation chambers.

I guess I'll have to die once more. "Is there anything else? Right now, I'm unable to read it." When the bomb went off, my ears became silent. This is something I never expected to happen.

...The bomb has detonated!...

That is to say, Dionne has passed away while holding the letter.

...Dionne's Ending...

...Explotion...

The memories of Dionne have begun to surface.

"What did you wish for, Constance?" While I was staring at the wishing well, the teacher stated. She seemed pleased to see me, but I was not pleased when zhe chose another student to throw a coin and make a wish.

"I hope Dionne can track down her mother!" Me? Why did she make such a wish? My mother had already deserted me. I don't think I'll ever meet her, but what if it's true? That she will return and dedicate more time to me.

"Dionne! Now it's your turn to make a wish."

"I'd like to have a geniune mother," she says. The teacher taken aback when she heard that. But she has no idea what I'm talking about; I'm talking about having a different to look after me than the one who abandoned me.

"Can you chat to me after school?" I gave her a friendly nod. I'm not sure why she asked me to speak with her, but it's probably because of my mother. Is she familiar wirh my mother or it is just something she recalls from the past.

...Do you wish to go back in time?...

...[ Yes ] < [ No ]...

"How did you become acquainted with my mother?" While sniffing, I said. Was it a bad thing for me to contact my mother when my teacher scolded for such a dumb reason? Then she should've said something sooner.

"I found out you despised her all this time! She was a good sibling of mine!" What? Do I despise her? No, I didn't despise her, but I didn't appreciate being left alone when she abandoned me. She did it because she wanted to.

"Hello, Miss Laurier! I didn't do it! I have no right to hate her because she abandoned me!" I was slapped twice by the teacher. She was in some discomfort, but I did nothing to make her stop harming me. Why won't they listen to me when it's against the law to hit a youngster like that?

They will not listen to a fool like you.

I'm a fool? I'm not being foolish; I'm telling it like it is. None of these things will happen to me if it isn't due of my mother, am I right? A letter appeared out of nowhere, but what was it?

It is letter of love or a letter of hatred?

...Do you want to open the letter?...

...[ Yes ] < [ No ]...

"Start waking up, you're in a dream, but if you don't, it'll be too late, You'll lose command" - Unit Two

Is it time to get up? What was the significance of the letter?

"Look away from that letter! I'm going to give you a detention!" The rain began to fall more heavily than before. But then i notice that all of my classmates are staring at me. Constance? Why aren't you putting any effort to stop her? Isn't it true that I'm your friend?

Or maybe not.

"Constance! Please assist me in getting out of here!" She couldn't help but laugh at me. But why is that? I always save her, but she never saved me from abused.

"You're all just robots," said by me.

My recollections began to face away. What a thrilling sight to witness once these memories face.

"Finally, Unit Zero, you're awake." After waking me up from a short dream, the woman stated. The units finally arrived; was it time for the game or not? This is when I'll find out who Unit Four and Unit Two are.

"Is it time for the ridiculous game?" says by the hoster. Two people, but only a little, laugh at me. I'm not sure what will happen next, but as soon as I discovered the reality of these letters, I'll do what I'm going to do.

"Unit Zero, meet your fellow units"

Out of all these folks, one stands out. From the rear of the corridor, one figure caught my attention.
