I watch a fairy pick a beautiful white rose in the garden a smile show in those red kissable lips. I sighed 'Girl you don't have any idea how terrifying your faith will be' I thought before shaking my head.

As I spend time with Althea I remember where this story is going thou I can't remember much but my guts is saying that this is not just ordinary romance novel about a tyrant and a gentle maiden.

"Your posture"

I rolled my eyes and straighten my back and smile at this strict butler beside me. 'Such a perfectionist' anyway.....its been a month since I enter the Lincoln estate as Althea's personal maid the work is simple and they pay me handsomely so I guess I stay a little hehe.

"By the way....." I looked at Eros who's standing beside me, he looked at me with his signature poker face waiting for me to finished my sentence.

"Why don't you try smiling hmm? You're handsome so it's a pity that you always keep that......poker face of yours" I said while pointing his whole face as usual he just stared at me like I said nothing I shake my head.

"Your hopeless" I mumbled before looking at Althea, drawing in her notepad.

This butler beside me is the second male lead in this novel, I just found out recently because of the rumors I heard with my co-maids here. I'm not a fan of rumors but rumors contains some facts too.

I learned that he is a half vampire a very rare creature since all the remaining vampire's is hiding because of what happen years ago which is I don't wanna elaborate because I hate explaining. In summary he is a slave that the Matriach saved during a raid and rise him here as a butler and we have a same age too. Actually I'm kinda jealous of his achievements in life but at least I'm not tight in anyone's expectations.....so I'm good being a loser.

Maid walked to Eros and said something he nod and walked near to Althea and said something. Althea answered with a smile and my jaw dropped when I saw Eros smile a little before bowing and following Althea.

"See you later Ada" Althea said smiling to me I nodded while my eyes remains on Eros. So he can smile? I smile and nod to myself of course only the female lead can melt a frozen heart.

After that I help some maid with their chores, I must say their all nice but some of them hate Eros because his a half vampire....his been bullied since he first got here no one pays attention to that or simply no one cares...soon Althea will know that and try to comfort him and be close to him.....ya'know what I mean.

"Adallane....are you sure your not a illegitimate child of someone powerful?" asked by one of the maids while we hang the clothes we washed. I scoffs because of that.

"What makes you think that huh?" I said while laughing, she shrugged her shoulder and point my whole being.

"Look at you, your too pretty to become a commoner or perhaps your family is an ex-noble who is exile!" She said while pointing at me. I looked at her with wide eyes before I burst into laughter with the other maids. She make a face before laughing at herself too.

"You have a weird imagination" one of the maids said "Yah I know stop laughing already were toasted if Mrs. Hilda find us laughing" She said I nod in agreement we finished washing the clothes so I'm free to go since I cleaning is over, I still have time before lunchtime to help Mr. Hulf at the kitchen.

I lay in the grass where the shadow of the big tree behind me shades. "I'm bored." I pouted

'Gosh how I missed my phone so much that I can kill someone to have it......nah just kidding. Maybe its okay if I take some nap right?'

I closed my eyes when I heard some walked so I open my eyes but found nothing in front of me I stood up and look behind the tree and saw Eros. His hand is on the tree and he seems........annoyed?

"I didn't want to be born to in this world! I didn't asked someone to saved me in that place..." he said and punch the poor tree. 'let him be' my mind said so I nod in agreement.

I sat again and pondered if I should walk away or stay here since I was the first one who got here, in the end I stay and remained silent and listen to his nagging

"I wish I just die there ....I wish I didn't met him" I heard he said and silence take over

I took a deep breath and stared at the beautiful blue sky the clouds is moving as the autumn breeze blow slowly. When I saw in my peripheral view a stiffened statue who's looking at me.

I turned my head to his direction and stare at him too. He is bewildered and his mouth is slightly parted while he is blinking at me. I smiled at him making his spirit back to his body, he straighten his back and clear his throat I smirk at him before looking back to the clouds.

"You heard it" his voice is indeed beautiful....beautiful like a soft water stream falls down to a babbling brook. I shrugs my shoulders.

"What makes you think that?" I said looking back to him, he looked annoyed I laughed before shaking my head. "I don't plan to say anything about your sudden burst" I said before standing, he followed my every moves.

"Your....weird" he said I frown at him "Your one to talk" I said, he looked down before looking straight to me. "Don't tell anyone" He seriously said.

"I don't plan anyway" I honestly said. "But.....You should be thankful that your still alive, someone might want to live.... but didn't have a chance to live longer" I said before shaking my head. "Nah never mind it. I should go kitchen stuff" I said and smile at him even if I know he won't care. He just stared at me with a looked I can't described.

'He must think I'm crazy but what I said is true.....if I know that night I'm going to die I should at least try to ride that roller coaster with my friends.....well its one of my bucket list that will never be checked since roller coaster doesn't exist here'

Eros looked at Adallane who's talking with Althea while she was drawing, Adallane points on the drawing then looked at the small lake going back her glance to the notepad holding by Althea. The lady nods and smile at Adallane just smile. He almost jump when Adallane suddenly looked at me and smile, he just clear his throat and turn away her gaze.

'She's weird'

Out all of the people who will heard him why did it have to be Adallane? ever since that girl came in her aura gives something he didn't like, sure enough Adallane is nice and easy to talk too but he still don't like her.

Earlier she just heard him saying something he keeps to himself but she pretended didn't hear anything. He's pride scattered when he saw a white hair girl looking at the sky behind the tree after saying those lame words. He shake his head in embrassment.

All of the people in this estate will loved to hear what she heard and make fun of him like they always do but.....she just shrug it off.

"Is there something wrong Eros?"

He lift his head and see Althea looking at him with worried eyes, he scan the surrounding and find Adallane is nowhere to be found.

Althea looked around too before nodded who's Eros is looking for. "Ada said she's going outside" Althea said smiling at him. He nod and take Althea to the dinning room.

Later at night Adallane didn't show up this whole afternoon, so he didn't have a chance to asked her about her weird actions. He can't take the curiousness he feel with her actions honestly he is always curious about that girl like....

'How did lady Althea asked her specifically as her personal maid? Why do he feel like she knows him so much even if he didn't tell anything to her?'

He got up from his bed and decided to take a walk in the garden. He took a deep breath before looking at the half creste moon, when his eyes sight saw two figure of people from afar. He used his ability run in the nearst tree to the two figure slowly peek looking who those figure is he's eyes was struck to a maiden with white hair who is looking at the black coated man while distain.

'who is she talking to?'

"Why did you do that" He heard Adallane said to the man but the man shake his head. "Just go ahead and go to that mansion, they won't be harm as long as you do as I say" The man said

'Harm who?'

Eros looked at Adallane who is glaring at the man he can't see since Adallane is the only view he can see clearly the man's back is the only thing he can see, base in their conversation this man is ordering Adallane to do something.....is she a spy?

Eros looked at Adallane who is comb her hair in annoyance. "I'll do it...." She said the man lean to Adallane and whisper something that made her froze. The man disappeared, Eros watched Adallane closed her eyes and looked at the moon. "I'm so f*cked up" he heard her cursed before she walk back to the mansion.

"What was that......" Eros asked before turning where Adallane walked. "Is she....being blackmailed to do something to the Matriarch?" He said to himself.

That night Eros decided that he will watch Adallane every move and find out what she's plotting until then he will stay low.
