...It had been years....

...Years since Yoongi had seen that beautiful smile....

...Since he had heard that amazing laugh....

...Since he had listened to that soft voice....

...Yoongi often wondered what the owner of that voice was up to....

...Wondered if they thought of him as much as he did them....

...Wished he could go back in time and change anything to make him stay....

...Yoongi had been alone ever since that day, 7 years ago. His friends tried to set him up with people, but no one could ever compare. The boy stole his heart never gave it back so how could he give it to someone else?...

...Yoongi was approaching year 29 out of many more. He's wasn't sad anymore, just bored....

...Any sane person would be bored after meeting such an extraordinary person and then being left behind....

...Yoongi had met the boy when he, himself, was 18, the boy was 16....

...For Yoongi, it didn't take long. A few months and he realized just how hard he had fallen for the boy with the brilliant smile....

...He had his friend, Hoseok, to thank for introducing them. The younger boy had a dance recital and asked Yoongi to come....

...Frankly, the 18 year old Yoongi wasn't very interested. All he ever wanted to do was compose music and play piano, back then anyway....

...Yoongi didn't expect to be captivated by one of the performers at the recital. He didn't expect any of this to happen....

...It started like all the other performances....

...A young boy with brown hair and tan skin came out onto stage. He was dressed in all black and couldn't have been older than 16. By now Yoongi was just waiting for it to be over so he could go home. He didn't really care about any of this....

...The boy got into his position and then the music started playing....

...It was one of his favorite songs to play on the piano....

...Maybe that's why Yoongi bothered to actually watch. It was different. Most of the performers either had mainstream classical music that you've heard a million and 5 times or hip-hop music, like Hoseok. But this song in particular was the reason Yoongi loved piano....

...As the boy danced Yoongi was amazed. It was like nothing he had ever seen. With every move the boy was able to express something that Yoongi was only ever able to express through piano. There was so much passion in his movements. The boy was giving his all in this performance....

...Yoongi was so caught up in watching the boy dance he didn't notice the song coming to a close. When it ended he couldn't help but feel disappointed. Honestly, Yoongi would've given anything for it to last longer....

...For the remainder of the recital Yoongi could only think of the boy. He wanted to know his name, wanted to know how old he was. He just wanted to know anything he could about him....

...Finally it was over and Yoongi went to look for his friend....

...After making his way back stage, he finally found Hoseok....

...His friend had a huge smile on his face, "Hey! I can't believe you're still here! How was I?"...

...Yoongi knew he had to be a good friend but he also could barely think of anything else besides the boy, "You were good Hoseok, but I have a question."...

...The younger boy's expression changed into a curious one, "sure what is it?"...

...The older took a breath, "There was a boy. He danced to a song called The Last Leaf Falls, it's a piano piece. Do you know him?"...

..."I've never even heard of that song. I couldn't possibly know it if I've never heard it "...

..."Dammit Hoseok. You've heard it, we live together, you've probably heard it a hundred or more times in the past three years. Come on."...

..."Dude calm down. What does the kid look like?"...

..."He- he had brown hair, very tan, wearing all back. He looked young. He did ballet."...

..."Seriously Yoongi, next time listen to the announcer. They always tell you th-"...

..."Do you know who I'm talking about or not?"...

...The younger boys eyebrow shot up, "Why do you want to know about this boy so badly? Oh, does the emotionless Min Yoongi have a crush?”...

..."Hoseok, if I didn't need you to tell me who this kid is my foot would be so far up your *** right now you would have to brush the smell of my shoes out of your fucking mouth for months. Now, tell me who he is." Yoongi was not having any of his friends humor now, he had a mission....

..."Jeez, calm down. The kid is right over there," he motioned to a person behind Yoongi, "His name is Jimin. He is like 16 and one of the best ballet dancers I've ever met. Some say he's a prodigy. They might be right."...

...Yoongi looks over to the young boy. His first thought was 'His dancing isn't the only thing that's beautiful and breathtaking.'...

...The kid was stunning and Yoongi had never felt so nervous in his life. He had planned to go up to him and tell him how amazing his dance was and that the song he picked was one of his favorites, but he didn't expect him to be so, how do you say it properly, intimidatingly beautiful....

...The boy had a smile that made Yoongi stop breathing. He couldn't help but think about how a small part of him wanted to be the reason the younger boy smiles....

...His lips were very plump and when he did smile his eyes were small. His cheeks were chubby but it added to his charm....

...No, it wasn't love at first sight, Yoongi had a strict rule about not falling in love with someone before he had talked to them, maybe that's why he's never dated someone before. But, it was strongly something at first sight, something that Yoongi never imagined would happen to him....

...Hoseok obviously had taken notice at how Yoongi looked at the boy, "It's a shame, or at least the girls think so, he is the most attractive boy in school and he's one of the gayest people I've ever met, maybe more than Jin. I swear i saw a girl crying once because she had a crush on him and someone told her. A part of me feels sorry for them."...

...At hearing his friends words, Yoongi felt relieved but also even more nervous. He actually kinda had a chance but someone like that would never even blink an eye at Yoongi. He was a socially awkward 18 year old bisexual whose only plan in life was to write music and play the piano....

..."Maybe I should get him over here. Maybe I could introduce you two."...

...Before Yoongi could tell his friend to piss off, Hoseok shouted the boy’s name....

...The boy, Jimin, looked over to Hoseok with a brilliant smile. He was one of the last performers so he still had sweat clinging to his skin and his hair was very messed up from multiple people ruffling it, but he still looked so beautiful....

...Quickly, Jimin made his way to the two boys. With every step he took Yoongi felt more and more scared....

...What if this kid had an awful personality and ruined it all? What if they didn’t hit it off? What if he is tired and just wants to go home?...

...He was there....

..."Hi Hobi hyung! You did awesome, as always. You really need to teach me some of those moves."...

...A part of Yoongi wanted to scream no. He had seen Hoseok dance and, no offense to him, but ballet was definitely more beautiful and suited the young boy much more than that shit Hoseok does....

...Hoseok laughed bashfully, "Thank you Jimin. But I think I should be asking you that. You were absolutely amazing."...

...The younger’s ears turned red and his cheeks turned an adorable shade of pink, "Thank you Hyung."...

..."Oh and that's not all, my friend here thought you were stunning. At least that's what I believe. I've forced him to come and watch many recitals with me and he's never wanted to stay longer than necessary, but he wanted to meet you." Hoseok realized he was a deadman after telling Jimin that but honestly, the look on Yoongi's face was enough to make him not regret it....

...The older's eyes were wide and he looked at Hoseok like he had just told the most deepest darkest secret that Yoongi has ever had....

...Under his breath he muttered, "I'm going to murder you, Jung Hoseok."...

..."Oh wow, that's awesome. I'm Park Jimin, what's your name?"...

...Yoongi looked at the boy. It felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest....

..."I- I'm Min Yoongi. You were really breathtaking. On stage I mean. That song, it's one of my favorites. I play piano and it was the first song that made me want to continue to play. When I saw you dance to it, it made me feel the same way it does when I play it. Dance doesn't usually interest me because I can't relate to it. The emotions always feel wrong to me. But with you, I felt the emotion of the song." Yoongi was talking nervously and fast....

...The younger boy had the biggest smile Yoongi had ever seen. His blush was more than obvious now and Yoongi wasn't sure if those were tears in his eyes or just sweat....

..."Oh my, that's the nicest thing anyone has ever told me. Thank you. It means a lot. Maybe one day I can hear you play it."...

..."I- I would love that. Maybe you could come over one day. Hoseok and I room together he could walk you over one day." Yoongi didn't know where any of this was coming from....

...Jimin looked down, probably to try to hide his blush, "Sure. That would be great." There is a call of Jimin's name and the younger looks up, "I-I have to go, I'll definitely try to come over one day."...

...And before Yoongi could even say bye the boy was running off in the direction of the voice that called him....

...Yoongi watched as the boy went up to a different boy that looked about the same age as him. For some odd reason he felt a sense of jealousy when the other boy swung an arm around Jimin’s waist....

...Hoseok was absolutely gushing when the older boy looked back at him, "Min Yoongi! You little flirt! You know, I was starting to think you didn't have it in you. Like you always seem so romantically challenged. Any time I try to set you up with someone you always seem so uninterested. But that, that was like watching a baby take his first steps. Oh my god! In the future, after you and Jimin have adopted your second child, I'll be able to say I was the one to introduce you two! I'll be responsible for the minimini couple!" Hoseok clapped his hands in excitement....

..."What the **** is that?"...

..."What?"...

..."The 'minimini couple'." Yoongi put air quotes around the word....

..."Oh, well, you two are both small and your last name is Min and his name is JiMIN so why not call you that?" The question was rhetorical....

..."Hoseok, please don't do this."...

..."Do what?" The younger boy used a defensive tone....

..."Do that thing where when I show the smallest interest in someone you automatically think we are going to get together. You did this with Jin AND Namjoon."...

..."Ok, in my defense, I had no idea they were already together." He pouted....

..."I also told you I didn't think of them in any romantic way, but you still tried. It was the most awkward moment in my life." Yoongi got shutters from just thinking about it....

..."Ok but this is different,"...

..."Hoseok, I'm just inviting the kid over to hear me play piano. Nothing more."...

...The older boy was already walking away so Hoseok's last comment went on deaf ears....

..."You never invite anyone over, nonetheless willingly let them watch you practice. This has got to be more."...

...And Hoseok was right. It turned out to be so much more than Yoongi ever thought possible....
