A Girl's Fate

It's been almost 2 years as the incident of Shiganshina district occurred. Eren , Mikasa and Armin were really excited as they were going to join the 104th cadet for training. They were busy in preparing their stuffs. The Ruis couple was both sad and happy for them. As it was raining from the morning that day, the sky was covered in dark and black clouds.

As Mikasa finished to pack her bag, she was sitting beside the window. She was looking at her red scarf, which she always wore ever since she got that. The dark cloud and heavy rain, the scarf reminded her about past, which she wanted to forget about.

It was 4 years ago, when Mikasa was still living with her parents. It was another normal day for them. Mikasa's mom was teaching her about sewing clothes. Her father was waiting for someone in a curious way.

"Dad, don't you have to go for work today?", Mikasa asked her father. He replied in a soft voice, " Yes dear. But I am waiting for Dr. Yeager to come for our check up . I think he will also bring his son , who is also the same age as you. You can be friend with him." Mikasa blushed for a while, and then went back to her work.

Meanwhile, someone knocked at their door. Mr. Ackerman thought it was Grisha , so he opened the door without any questions. But as he opened the door, the man behind the door, stabbed him in the heart with a knife. As a result, Mr. Ackerman collapsed and three people get in the house .

Mikasa and her mother became terrified to see Mr. Ackerman to collapsed. Ms. Ackerman told Mikasa to run away, as she took a stick and charged toward the robbers. one of the robbers hit her head with an axe, as blood spread the whole house and she also fell on the ground. Then the robbers beat Mikasa as she was helpless and shocked. Then they took her with them in order to sell her.

After half an hour, Grisha and Eren reached Mikasa's house. Grisha knocked the door and said, " Anyone home? I am Dr. Yeager. " But he found the door was open and nobody was responding to him. So he slowly open the door and saw a horrible scene. He told Eren to stay outside and not to come inside.

He saw bloods everywhere in the house. And found the body of Mr. Ackerman. He checked him as he found out he was dead. Beside the door of other room, he found a headless body and saw Ms. Ackerman's head in the other room. Grisha was so terrified that he quickly got out of the house.

He asked Eren if he had seen any girl around his age nearby. Eren replied in the negative. Eren tried to peek in the house and saw bloods. Grisha told Eren to go back to the town and he is going to call the police now. Eren respectfully did that and left the place.

As Eren was going down from the hill, it suddenly begun to rain. Eren got caught in to the rain and got lost into the forest. Eren found a cabin into the forest. He peeked inside of the cabin and became shocked to see a girl was being tied and two man was drinking. Eren secretly went into the cabin in order to listen to them.

The robbers were having a talk about that days work. One of them said, " Why did you kill her mother? We could sell her in a high price. I wonder could we sell this kid in a high price." The other one replied, " What else should I did? She attacked me. Well, it would be good enough to atleast got this kid. " The robbers was laughing as Mikasa looked sad and just wanted to die.

Eren hearing those got really angry and he found a knife. He keep that knife at his back. He knocked the door. The became shocked , but when one of them opened the door and saw a kid, they got relaxed. " What are you doing here, kiddo?" That robber asked Eren. Eren replied, " Actually I got lost in the forest and found this cabin. Can I stay here for a while?"

The robbers laughed at him and then he went near Eren and out his hand on Eren and told him, " Kids shouldn't be out in the forest in this kind of day." At that time Eren grabbed the knife and stabbed him on the chest. As the robber collapsed, Eren shut of the door, as Mikasa found a piece of hope and the other robber was afraid after seeing his partner to die against a kid.

He ran towards the door for catching Eren but Eren suddenly opened the door and jumped on the robber with the knife. At this the robber fell down and Eren continuously stabbed him. Eren's face and hands became cover with blood. A few moment later, Eren get off on his body and cut the rope and said Mikasa, " Let's get out of here."

But Mikasa was hesitating as she was saying, " There was three of them. " As she was saying this, the third person entered the room and saw his partners dead. Eren tried to grab the knife, but before he could reach, the third guy caught him and grabbed his neck.

Eren was being choked but he was trying to told Mikasa to fight. " Fight, if you fight you will win, if you don't we will die." Hearing those words, Mikasa got triggered by something and a flow of shock blow through her whole body. She was no more afraid or nervous, she got the full control of her body. As Eren was almost passing away, Mikasa grabbed the knife and ran toward the robber and stabbed him to death. As Eren and Mikasa both survived.

An hour later, The military police with Grisha came to the cabin. They found the dead body of those three robbers and saw two kid was sat on a corner. The police asked them what happened there. In reply, they told everything. The police took them out, as Grisha saw Eren , he rushed toward him.

" Do you know what have you done?" Grisha yelled at Eren. " Yes, I just eliminate some bastard from the world." Eren replied. Grisha was about to slap him , " But I really want to save her as early possible." Grisha stopped himself and told him, " Never do this kind of stuff."

Then he moved on Mikasa and asked her if she was ok. Mikasa respond in the positive as she asked him in a cold voice, " Hey Dr. Yeager, where will I go now? I don't have parents or neither a family. It's really cold here." Grisha was speechless but Eren came near to Mikasa and took off his scarf and wrapped it around Mikasa.

"Is it alright now?" Eren asked her as Mikasa blushed. Mikasa replied," yes" in a soft voice. Then Eren told her," You can come with us to our house. You can live with us." Hearing this, Mikasa again blushed. Grisha also agree with it and told Mikasa to join his family. Mikasa accepted the offer from Eren that day and went to his house.

Four years has passed since that day, yet Mikasa still use the same scarf that Eren gave her that day and for Eren's kindness for her, she ought to protect him at any cost. As Mikasa was thinking about these things, it was already morning. Mikasa realizing that wrapped the scarf around her neck and started to pack her things. After an hour later, Eren , Mikasa and Armin got ready for leaving the house and joined the 104 training corps. They said goodbye to Mr and Mrs Ruis and went for joining the 104th training corps as three of them looked confident.
