Fall Of Shiganshina

The people of Shiganshina district, were peacefully living, but all on a sudden, a huge titan showed up and made a hole in the wall. The broken pieces of the wall crushed many humans, building and blocked paths. More importantly the titans begun to come inside the walls and the people begun to run towards the inner gate to save themselves.

As the people begun to rush, Armin told Eren and Mikasa to run with him. But Eren was still in shocked and he also thought about his mom. So Eren ignoring Armin's request, rushed towards his house and Mikasa also followed him. Before leaving, Mikasa told Armin, " You better go to the inner wall hurry. We will catch you there soon."

As Armin failed to stop them, Armin begun to run towards the inner gate, as he met Hannes on his way. He told Hannes about Eren and Mikasa. Hannes assured him not to worry as he said, "I am going there and will save them if they fall in danger." Hearing this, Armin rushed towards the inner gate.

Meanwhile Eren and Mikasa running toward their home. Eren was only thinking that the rocks didn't hit their home. But on the way, they saw a lot of bloods as the people got crushed by those rocks. When they reached near his house, his nightmare became true, as they saw his house been crushed by a huge rock. They got closer as they found, Carla was stuck within the broken house.

Eren and Mikasa begun to pull those pillers up from Carla's body , but they were too heavy to move . As Carla noticed the titans are moving near by, She told Eren and Mikasa to run away as she mentioned, " Eren, take Mikasa and run away. Even you take me out , I can't sense my lower body." Eren refused that and said, "I will carry you, so just wait a bit, mom. Mikasa put more strength." Carla being emotional, " Why aren't you ever listen to me ? Mikasa you understand the situation. So please take Eren and run." Mikasa cried and refused to run away.

As they were there, a titan with a creepy smile was coming towards them. Seeing that, Eren and Mikasa begun to hurry but they couldn't move the pillars. At the meantime, Hannes come there using his odm gear. Seeing Hannes, Carla requested him to save Eren and Mikasa. But Hannes told them, " I will fight that titan and save everyone. I will repay the debt that Yeager family owe me."

Hannes ran towards the titan as Eren and Mikasa were trying hard so that Carla could get free. As Hannes got Infront of the smiling titan, he became scared. His limbs weren't moving as he were trembling in fear. He thought for a second, "If I die here, all of us will die. If I try to escape, then the kids will be safe." Thinking this Hannes quickly made his mind and rushed back to Eren's house. Hannes grabbed Mikasa in one hand and Eren in another and begun to run as he said, " I am sorry Ms.Yeager. I can't do it." As Eren was screaming at Hannes, " What are you doing, Hannes? Mom is still there." But Hannes kept on running.

Carla looked at them and thanked Hannes for saving Eren and Mikasa. As the titan was getting near her, she reminded of the moment of her family being together as she screamed , " Eren, Mikasa, stay safe." And she begun to cry. The titan came to the broken house and lift the pillars to grab Carla. Carla tried to get free from the titan's hand but failed. Eren was screaming as Hannes was running as hard as he could.

The titan grabbed Carla and taking her to her mouth. As Eren screamed with crying, " please, stop it. " The titan bite Carla's nape as blood flying over the area. Eren was shocked and terrified to see his mother died Infront of him. Hannes just kept going as Mikasa was also crying.

After a few moment, Eren begun to punch Hannes. Hannes put Eren down, as Eren cried out and angrily said, " Why didn't you save my mom?" Hannes put his hand on Eren's shoulder and said with a cried voice, " it's because, I wasn't strong enough to fight. We humans are weak. You could not save her, because you are weak. And I couldn't fight because I was afraid of that titan. So now just stay safe ." Hannes hold both Eren's and Mikasa's hand and took them to the inner gate. Where the people gather on ships to evacuate Shiganshina and take shelter inside of Wall Rose. Eren and Mikasa also got in a ship where Armin was waiting for them.

As almost all the alive people got to the inner gate, the soldiers of the Garison units, were prepared for closing the inner gate, so that the titans couldn't come in side of Wall Maria. But at that time, again a lightening strike nearby. The soldiers saw an abnormal titan was running towards them, so the ignored the lightening, and were busy to close the gate. They prepared the canons to stop that titan.

Suddenly, they heard a heavy footstep as a titan covered with armored , was walking towards them. The soldiers shooted the canons ,but that was useless. Then the armored Titan began to run towards the gate. At this , the soldiers got on full retreat and tried to close the gate quickly. But they failed to do that as the Armored Titan broke through the gate.

Meanwhile, the people on the port , begun to get scared and they tried to jump on the ships, which have already started to move. Eren , Mikasa and Armin safely was on the ship. Eren was in full of regret as he couldn't save his mom. Suddenly he remembered what Hannes told him a while ago. Eren think about that and question himself, " Why we had to face something like this? Why our freedom has been taken away?" As thinking about this, Eren was crying and went to a corner of the ship. He looked at the destroyed Shiganshina, as he swore with a rage, " I will kill every single one of them. I will keep moving forward until I end all the titans." As Mikasa and Armin just looked at Eren and stayed quiet.

Within a moment, the news of the fall of Shiganshina spread in the wall. People from other part of the Wall Maria , begun to evacuate the Wall Maria, as the titans came inside of the wall. As a result, the outer town of Wall Rose, got full of refugees.

Few hours later, they got into the refuge center and the trio fall asleep as they were tired. While Eren was in a sleep, Grisha hurriedly came to the shelter center. Grisha wake Eren up and took him in to the hallway of the center. Grisha asked Eren about Carla. Eren said in his sleep, "Mom, a titan ate her." Grisha was shocked and broken as he heard those words.

A man, in a scout regiment dress, try to calm down Grisha. Grisha grab Eren and took him outside of the shelter center. The other person followed them. After an hour later, the other guy took Eren back to the shelter center and put him back to his sleeping place.

"Eren, avenge your mother.", Grisha was saying this and coming toward Eren with an injection. Eren tried to push Grisha away, " What are you doing, dad? You are acting crazy ever since mom died." Grisha grabbed Eren and said with a cry, " Eren , forgive me. Because of my actions, you are going to have a great suffering. But I don't have much time left and because of the injection, you may forget this , just keep this key with you and remember it, you have go to the basement and know the truth and go back to my home. You have to save everyone. So please forgive me." Grisha then push the injection in Eren's arm as Eren screamed at him and Eren woke up.

"Huh, was it just a dream?" Eren thought about that. Mikasa came to him and said, " Eren , are you alright?" Eren said he was fine and asked her about Armin. Mikasa told him , " Armin goes to grab some food for us. Let's get outside." Eren stood up and see the key was hanging on his neck. "Huh, when did I got the key?" Eren was confused and couldn't find out what happened last night.

Eren asked Mikasa, " Have you seen dad around here?" " No, I didn't seen him after yesterday.", Mikasa replied. Hearing the word yesterday, Eren got remind of her mother got eaten by a titan. Then he again noticed the key and tried hard to remember anything. Mikasa after seeing Eren holding the key, "Ereh, where did you got that key? Didn't it was with Dr. Grisha?" Eren in a sad voice, " Yeah, I was thinking about this. If he came here last night, then where is he?" Eren was sad and angry at the same time, as he held the key and said ," I will go back to home no matter what it takes. "

"Eren, do you know what that means? You have to join the scouts for going outside the Wall Rose now." Mikasa told Eren in a bold voice. Eren replied in a mixed voice, " I know that. But I really need to know what was in the basement. So I will do this anyway."

Meanwhile, Armin came from outside with three pieces of bun. " Man, it's hard to get food in this kind of situation. I thought it would be hard to get food, never thought it would be that hard to get a little food.", Armin was blubbering to himself, as he saw Eren and Mikasa. "Hey, Eren. Are you okay now? " Before Eren could answer , Armin gave him one piece of bun. "You must be hungry. Have it." Armin told Eren. He also gave Mikasa another piece.

While eating, Eren told Armin about his plan to join the scout regiment. Armin was shocked as he thought Eren was just joking the other day. So Armin asked him ," why do you want to join the scouts. Why not the military police ?" Mikasa also asked that question again.

" I want to know the truth about the walls. And the answers are at my basement I guess." Eren told them holding the key . "Also, it would be a good chance for me to kill those stupid titans ."

"Huh, well if you wished to join the scout, I would also like to join the scout." Armin said it with a smile. " What are you saying, Armin?" Mikasa yelled at Armin. "Eren, didn't we promise to see the sea together? If we can join the scouts, we could possibly get to the sea ."

Eren being surprised at Armin , hugged him. " You are truly a great friend, Armin. Let's do this together." Armin also agreed with that. Mikasa then realizing that she failed to stop them from making scout regiment as their goal, " than, if you two join the scout regiment, I will also join the scout to protect you two ." Eren and Armin was shocked to hear that. Both of them hugged Mikasa as the trio was finally smiling after the yesterday incident.

Six months later, the scout regiment with 75% of the matured refugees charged for retake Wall Maria, but they failed as only 6% peoples came back alive . Their sacrifice solved the problem of food shortage. But humanity was truly facing the darkest days inside the walls, but Eren and his friends keep moving forward from the sadness to achieve their goal to take back their home.
