"Why should I? I won’t leave my subjects behind and flee”

“You dare defy milady’s order” Yi threatened the poor guard.

The guard proceeds to open the gate.

There stood the 3rd Prince, Chen, with his soldiers. They looked as if they were trying to make Prince Chen their ruler and worship him.

“I never expected that I would see 3rd brother again after all these ruckus you’ve caused”

Well! Well! Well! Aren’t you the 7th grand Imperial princess?

“It’s nice to be back again. The last time was the Banquet, right?”

“It’s surprising to see that you are a traitor to the Yong kingdom and even dared to pledge allegiance just like our father did, I thought the only eyes you had was the throne”

Prince Chen for a second distracted the Ziteng to rush inside the palace.

“SET A FOOT ON THIS PALACE STEPS AND YOU ARE DEAD”

“Oh look (laughs) at your courage, don’t blame me then! Thank me that I won’t go easy on you”.

He stops for a moment and proceeds to order:

 “Archers fire!!”

Ziteng was able to summon all her familiars at once and cast a shield within the palace to retaliate the arrows coming in.

“3rd brother please leave with your troops or there might be bloodshed. I don’t wish to cause carnage inside this palace”

“EVERYONE STOP” Chen commanded to halt their attacks. He grinned

“This is what I wanted to see. The Dragon and the phoenix but it seems the nine tailed fox is missing or perhaps that fox can use stealth magic?”

Huli, the nine tailed fox enters the scene and starts to fight.

“Revert! Huli. Don’t”

“Oi, Oi. I was almost ready to combat.”

Meanwhile there was uproar among the soldiers

“Oh! No! She’s a child of the gods, if we anger her, we’ll be punished! Take shelter!” The soldiers of the 3rd Prince and some commoners did not know about her powers.

The ones who knew just stood in silence.

“Were you born with this power or did you make a pact with the spirits?”

“it’s both”.

“How come I did not know that…did the emperor know about this?”

“Yes…”

“A...Ahahahahahaha…I was almost fooled to believe that the princess was weak from the start. She was instead gifted who could even communicate with the spirit realm!”

“I’m afraid I have to forbid you from entering the palace”.

(Thunders roaring)

“Yi ! Xi’ai! Descend from the heavens above.”

The twin dragons appear before them and breathe fire heavily.

She takes out her twin swords which she hides inside her hanfu and prepares to attack.

The soldiers were now dispersed and running for their lives. The only standing persons were the 3rd brother and a person whose identity was unknown.
