Yo!, was just on the Special Force website and saw that you’re the present record holder on ATS, Congratulation" Daichi said in an apathetic tone.

“ Yeah, thought the technology was deceitful, but it’s a result of my daily training ” Taiga replied.

He asked Daichi about his license since they are both ranked last on the amateur grade assassins ranking list.

“That’s not a problem" Daichi was indifferent about the situation.

“Worry about yourself, I graduated as the world’s topper, after all”

Bubax became more worried because he graduated at the bottom of the world’s rank list. Unlike, the topper who gets 2 years before expiry of their license without engaging in missions and also gets a 10 percent increase of an amateur assassin monthly allowance of $50,000. Others below the topper must be active assassins before the year ends and to renew their license would cost $40,000 with no allowance 12 months after the license renewal as a punishment. So most assassins whose license expires just give up and do other jobs while some become black assassins.

“Hey!, hey!, Taiga!, you listening to me?"

“ Sorry just lost in my thoughts" Taiga was lost in his cerebration.

“ don’t worry, you could easily get a job or you could change your location to Taito city, if you don’t want to go to another nation” Daichi asserted in a gravely calm voice.

Bubax reasoned his notion of getting a job since he is an assassin he would be hired immediately with a high starting salary but might not be up to what higher ranked assassins earned and Taito city does have the highest crime rate in the whole of Tokyo, but the danger level is mostly blue and it’s not that common, which the crime force would be able to handle. Those missions would increase his rank but not boost it to rank top 32 in his grade.

“ nah, I didn’t work my butt for the past 3 years to be an employee or go for unworthy missions and my instinct tells me that I would find what I want in this city”

“ I see"

“Hold on a moment please" putting the video call on hold. Taiga remembered he hasn’t had breakfast yet.

“Ami, order for a Yakitori (barbecued chicken) please" Taiga requested.

“Okay Sir, your order will be delivered in 3min" Ami replied

“Thanks Ami, you’ve been really helpful" Bubax Commended.

“awwn, just doing my job" Ami was elated.

Bubax returned to his video call with Daichi and they continued their conversation;

“ Am back, I also saw that Karina is ranked 1st in our grade”.

“Yeah, she's at WASA (World Aeronautics and Space Administration)” Daichi added.

“Oh!, that’s cool" Taiga was amazed by her progress.

“Well, it’s just 2 of us in our team, who isn’t part of the top 32 in the rank list" Bubax tells Daichi who doesn’t care about the rank list.

Bubax Yakitori was delivered 3 minutes into the chart.

while they continued their conversation

“guess I’m late for breakfast because Aiko is furiously headed towards me” Daichi says calmly

“Big brother, your late for breakfast again you…" a furious feminine voice was heard from Daichi’s phone.

“Bye, bye! " with his unmoved tone, Daichi ends the call.

Taiga was glad Daichi called, he then returned to his training room and resumed training his speed and resistance, he did that till evening.

After training he went to the living room to check the news but there weren’t any information of danger in the area so he just went to his room to shower.

In his room, while sitting on a couch with a small round table in his front, he ordered Ami to give him a full breakdown of Tokyo wards.

A hologram map of Tokyo appeared and Ami starts its break down;

* Minato city, danger level: Green

Shinagawa city, danger level: Green

Shibuya city, danger level: Blue

Shinjuku city, danger level: Green

Chuo city, danger level: Yellow

Chiyoda city, danger level: Blue

Kyoto ci….” Ami got interrupted because Bubax couldn’t believe what he heard.

“ What’s Chuo city again?"

“Chuo city, danger level: yellow" This news, brought Taiga joy, he couldn’t believe that there would be a day that Tokyo city will have a yellow threat level.

“TV on" Taiga's television switched on and was showing what was supposed to be a bank robbery, because what he could see was a man, which he assumed was the threat, killing police brutally in Chuo city and his mastery of his kinesis looked really good.

“ Taiga, I think the Lord has granted you your wish” Ami said as the news continued in the background.

“ Ami get my suit ready in a minute, just got my 1st mission as a licensed Assassin" Bubax jerked off his couch delighted and began stretching.
