-8 years later-

"Announce it now"- I said.

As the butler announces us the door opened wide awake.

" LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE CHILDREN OF THE HOUSE NEPHUS"-butler said.

As we walked in the aisle people keeps saying congratulations to us.

"Greetings to the Emperor and The Empress of Katia Empire and Especially to the Crown Prince of Katia Empire Greetings to you, Your Highness"-I said.

" Welcome back Lady Psyche also Congratulations to you and your brothers...You never disappoint our empire the duke must be proud that he has a super talented Children's"-The Emperor said.

"Thank you, Your Majesty, for hosting such a big celebration we are so very grateful"-I said.

" There is no need to say Thank you, also This Celebration is for honoring those people who risked their lives to save our empire just like you and your Brothers"-Emperor said.

"I wish we could talk longer your Majesty but The Duke is waiting for us and I'm sure that he is worried about us and also I know that the Kings of the 3 kingdoms want to talk to you so we will excuse ourselves for a while"-I said.

" Okay, I will see you later Lady Psyche"-Emperor said.

We bow to the Emperor and leave.

"Sister, I will gonna get some food ok?"-Leon said.

"Ok take your time"-I said.

"How about you Liam aren't you hungry?"-I said.

" No"-Liam said.

"Sister! Brother!"-Michelle Shout.

"Oh, Michelle where is Regina?"-I said.

" She is on the way here we fought so we are not together"-Michelle said.

"Oh I see"-I said.

" Congratulations Sister and brother"-Michelle said.

"Thank you"-I said.

"Milady! We have a problem"-Maid said.

-At the Garden-

As soon as we arrived at the garden I saw Leon fighting with the Baron.

" Shut your filthy mouth you don't have a right to insult my sister!"-Leon said and was about to use his power.

"Leon! Enough!"-I said.

" Sister!"-Leon said.

"What happened here?"-I said.

"It's him, sister, he insults you"-Leon said.

" What did the Baroness say?"-I said.

"He said that you don't deserve the position you are in right now because you are not even the real daughter of the Duke and you are as ugly as the duck"-Leon said.

When I heard those words my blood start to burn.

" Is that true Baron Vidal?"-I said.

"It's not an insult Milady I'm just stating the truth you do not deserve that position you deserved to be a maid or a slave that can warm me up all night "-Baron said.

" It seems like you forgot your position in aristocracy and It seems that you forgot that we can kill you at any moment and wiped out that Baron title of yours"-I said.

"Tsk! You can't do that"-Baron said.

" Do you forget that my family is close enough to the Imperial family and do you forget that because of the help of my father you earn the title of Baron"-I said?

"What happened here?"-Marquess Ativo said.

" Oh...I just punished the baron for his lack of knowledge and lack of manners Uncle "-I said and turned around.

"Can you tell me what did the baron say, Lady Psyche?"-Marquess said.

" He said that I didn't deserve this position I'm in because I'm not the real daughter of the Duke and He also said that I deserve to be a maid or a slave that can warm him up in bed all night"-I said.

"WHO ARE YOU TO INSULT MY NIECE!?"-Marquess said.

" Even if Lady Psyche isn't the real daughter of the Duke as long as she carried the NEPHUS surname of my brother in law she will gonna be part of the family keep that to your Mind Baron Vidal."-Marquess said.

The baron was speechless.

"You should know who you are and who your fighting with or else your will gonna be a slave in just one blink your lucky we give you second chance"-I said.

" Yes yes I apologize for my words and actions Lady Psyche I will never do it again"-Baron said while his voice is shaking.

" Let's go, Brothers and Uncle"-I said.

The baron was left all alone there while his body is trembling because of fear.

"How is father uncle?"-I said.

"His disease is getting worse every day to the point that sometimes he coughs blood"-Marquess said.

"Did he already take some medicine?"-I said.

" Yes he did but it seems like the medicine is not working anymore"-Marquess said.

"How about mother?"-I said.

" The duchess is fine she is the one that's been taking care of the Duke I'm afraid that she might get sick sooner or later"-Marquess said.

*Psyche Sigh*

"I see thank you for the information I didn't send them some letters while I was at the camp it was because the enemies are everywhere so I can't afford that someone might get hurt so I didn't allow any letters to be sent to us"-I said.

" I understand you Psyche the Duke and the Duchess they raised you well"-Marquess said.

"I'm very grateful that I met the duke 8 years ago because if I didn't meet him maybe I'm already dead also I'm very happy that The duke and the Duchess became our parents because without them We would never feel like having a happy family even if they are not our real parents they still make us feel like we are they own children"-I said.

"They hearts are blessed with kindness"-Marquess said.

" Excuse me Marquess Ativo May I talk to lady psyche for a while?"

I heard a voice that was so familiar to me...and when I look at him...I saw the man who hurt my heart 5 years ago...and it was the 2nd Prince of Katia Empire.

"Then I will excuse myself your highness"-Marquess said and bow to the Prince.

"Greetings To the 2nd prince of the Katia Empire"-I said and curtsy.

"Am I still the person inside your heart Psyche?"-Michael said.

" Let's talk about this somewhere"-I said.

-At the Balcony on the 3rd floor of the palace-

"It's already been 5 years since I last saw you Psyche"-Michael said.

"Where have you been?"-I said.

" Pardon?"-Michael said.

"Did you love me or did you just force yourself because I'm the one who was there"-I said.

"I did just force myself because you're the one that was by my side"-Michael said.

"So that's why you just left me and after 2 years you marry someone else"-I said.

He was just speechless.

" If I only knew I would have never loved you in the first place...I always believed that you will come back but then I will just hear that you marry someone else I always thought you love me all of your heart but it seems that I was wrong"

"I apologize"-Michael said.

"Your apology can not heal my heart you broke it into pieces...I think we don't have anything else to talk to your Highness so I will take my leave"-I said and curtsy.

As soon as I left my tears started to fall as my heart starts to hurt...now I know how Callista feel when she knew that Darius and Diana married at the end of the story...it must be hard for her to accept that the man that she loves all ready love someone else.

And here I am walking in the corridor seeing no one in sight, and hearing nothing but the noise from the 1st floor.

As I leaned on a tree I take a deep breath as I realized that I had already gone through a lot of challenges...

It's already been 8 years since the day Rose died...my plan didn't go as I planned years ago...

If ever the story is gonna end I wonder what will happen to me and What will gonna happen to Callista's body.

Never mind...I still have so many things to do.

As I was about to leave someone suddenly hold my hand and when I turned around I saw The Crown Prince.

"Your Highness?"-I said.

"I miss you, Master"-Crown Prince said.

"How are you, Your Highness? It's been a year since I last saw you"-I said.

"Still taking some lesson"-Crown prince said.

"Good to know that Your Highness"-Crown Prince

" How about you master? how are you?"-Crown Prince.

"I'm fine nothing to worry about"-I said.

"I feel like I saw you for years master If only you and the emperor allowed me to go with you maybe I will not worry and miss you master"-Crown Prince said and hug me.

" Your Highness?"-I said.

I was shocked because he hugged me suddenly.

"Oh I apologize for hugging you master without your permission I will never do it again"-Crown prince said.

" It's ok I will take my leave, your Highness because I'm sure that my brothers and sisters are looking for me as I left them without saying anything I need to go now"-I said and curtsy.

-At the Duke's Estate-

"Congratulations Milady!"

"You did great milady!"

"We miss you so much milady"

That's what the maids said to me when I arrived at the estate.

"I miss you guys too"-I said and hug them.

They hugged me back as if I was been missing for like years.

" We've already cleaned up your room and the young Master's bedroom milady"-Head maid said.

"Thank you, Lady Clarissa"-I said.

"Milady you still haven't changed you still call me Lady Clarissa when I suppose to not be called"-Head maid said.

" I just get used to it your like my second mother"-I said.

"Oh yeah, the Duchess and The Duke is waiting for you milady"-Head maid said.

"Ok Lady Clarissa I will go there later I will just get changed cuz my dress is quite dirty"-I said.

" Grace Please help her milady to get change"-Head maid said.

"And also everyone gets back to work"-The head maid said.

" Got it, Lady Clarissa"-Everyone said.

It just feels so good to be back here again where everyone is comfortable with me and respects me even if I'm not the real daughter of Duke Kaim Nephus.

-At the Duke's office-

"Greetings to you Your Excellency the Duke of Katia Empire"-I said.

" It's been a year since I didn't see you Psyche"-Duke said.

"Yeah, but now I was being able to see you again father"-I said.

" Callista "-Duke said.

When the Duke calls me by that name it means he is serious and it's just given me goosebumps cuz it has been like 5 years since he last calls me by that name.

" Yes, father?"-I said.

"I'm so proud that I raised you, your brothers, and your sisters well and I was surprised that even in tough times you didn't show any tears nor any feelings that you want to give up...I'm amazed by how strong you are...also I hope you forgive me for pressuring you so much"-Duke said.

"Don't apologize father...I don't have any hatred towards you instead of I'm grateful that I met you and the Duchess...you and the duchess give me a reason to fight up and be strong...you showed me the family that I never had a household who cherishes me as if I was your real daughter...you showed me the good side of Love not only that you are always there through my ups and downs and gave me the love and support that I never had from my real family"-I said and smile.

" I'm also grateful because you helped us to handle your brothers and sisters and you always protect them and support them as if they were your real siblings, You've grown up a lot Psyche"-Duke said and hug me.

"Thank you, father"-I said.

" Psyche I only have a short time to live here...I want you to Protect your siblings once I'm gone ok? And don't trust anyone but yourself and your siblings because no one is gonna keep yourself safe no one but only you"-Duke said.

And My tears started to fall when I hear my father's word I felt like something is stabbing my heart and it was so deep to the point I wanted to cry.

"Shh go on just let it out father's gonna be here...I will always be"-Duke said and hugs me tightly.

And my tears can't stop falling because it felt like this is father's last word to me.
