Dream of Darkness

Dad drove me college. I didn’t attended my first class. I didn't actually go to class on purpose. I went to library instead of it.

We have a very large library in our college. And there are many more books out there than just college ones. There are all kinds of books here.

But I was there for something special. There are restrictions on reading some books. Because many years ago some friends got together and perform a demonic ritual and were later caught, one of them died also. I heard this was a rumours. ButI I know it wasn’t because out of curiosity I was looking for some Demonic books but then I found nothing but only some witchcraft books. But as the books were very old, they were torn and some pages were missing too.

The book did not help me get out of my predicament. Because by born, I had everything in my mind. But the thing which wasn’t in my head, that was the power of the devil. I wanted to know More about it.

So, I started finding those type of books. I know it's here. I also bribed the librarian too. I searched for that book almost 3 hours but no, I couldn’t find it.

I sat down on the chair. Suddenly "You seemed disappointed".

I down my hand from my forehead, to look up. It was Jack.

" Jack, what are YOU DOING here?", I asked him gently.

"I'm Just a student of here", He replied me. Jack sat beside me.

"Do you also study in this college?"

I nodded as yes. Jack smiled and asked me again,"So, what are you reading?",

"Nothing. I was trying to find but let it be, I think That isn’t here",I signed.

I only searched for half of the 3 parts, still have a lot.

" Tell me, I can help you or ask that lady", Jack was about to ask Tge librarian. But I grabbed his hand.

"No, I-I asked her she said she doesn’t know. She is new here Jack ", Milli and I looked at each other with a smile.

" Oh, then tell me. I will help you to find", my hand was in his palm, he tightened his grip. We looked like a lover, everyone in the library was staring at us.

I noticed their gaze so I started shaking his hand.

"Yes? Don't you want my help?"

"I want but you are holding my hand. People will misunderstand us", Suddenly he loosened his grip.

" I'm sorry Erin. I didn’t notice it".

"So, let's find it".

"It's okay Jack. Milli will find it. I think we have to go to class".

Jack nodded and we left. Before leaving, I told Milli, to find it. If she finds it then it will be great or else I'll have to look for it again tomorrow. Jack and I went to class. He was so nice to me, he gave me the previous notes too. It was surprising but I don’t mind if he helps me. Now I get it there are many benefits to having friends. Jack is a little shy and introvert type. So many girls are trying to get his notice for his handsome face but he is ignoring everyone. I'm just little curious now, why are you talking with me only me? Or I'm Over thinking?
