5. Death Footage

An unknown entity, a zombie girl, or whatever she is. Greeted me with horrendous violence as I awakened inside a place that I had never been before. Fought for myself, until she ran out of strength. But seemingly nothing can oppose her.

I just need to reach down the knife on the floor, stabbed her.

And end all of this.

But then, the moment she's just a few inches away from me, she purposely drops the hardwood on the floor. Leaving me wondering. My thiughts were running with her action. Seconds have passed. Still waiting for her act to make mine. I gave her a blank stare and lean on the window, taps my foot repeatedly. Manifesting her my impatience.

Maybe, she doesn't really want to kill me, I guess, she's just trying to prove something uncertain.

Still, her eyes were fuming. I radiate her a lazy one. No one's moving. Time standstill. She remained silent, thinking.

What's with this woman.

"Pana? Again?" a mid-aged lady appeared in a doorway, arking her brow as she saw us.

"JOAS!" My eyes widen as I heard a familiar voice. There, Conan appeared behind the lady. Wearing his shocked face as Nari followed behind him.

I took a glimpse at the zombie girl named Pana. Watch her left the room with her head bowed down. Strange. From a werewolf to a puppy. Confusing. She's now being lectured by that lady as they walk out.

Nari and Conan explained everything that happened after they left us three. We're now sitting separately from each other, nothing but silence. Dumbfounded.

"You just made me die in guilt even more for what you did. What if all of you also died?" I spoke amidst a strange silence, looking through the window. Nari responds in a second,

"We just want to make sure that you'll fight for Asiana, and choose not to die," she said, looking down.

"I'll die for her, seeking for her justice," I told, quietly.

"That's not what I mean" she chuckled in sarcasm.

"...I hope this.. could change your mind." she said, with her eyes stuck on a gadget probably came from Mihu. As she plays certain footage.

["Can we bring back for a minute? I... I just wanted to apologize to him"- Asiana]

I was left frozen, the moment I hear her voice.

["No.... he doesn't want you back, He sent you with me to get rid of you" - Werth]

["What?"- Asiana]

["You didn't know? We'll be bringing you into a very far away---"- Werth]

["NO!!! DON'T DO THIS TO ME!"-Asiana]

["It is what your brother asks for. I'm just following him"-Weth]

Lies. He's serving her with lies.

["Please... bring me back to him"-Asiana]

Asiana let out a scream. A blaring one, rings all over the place, hinting that was the moment before Werth mercilessly drop her from the helicopter. With her last words... that hits me the most.

["Is this... what you want..."]

A deafening sound can be heard on footage before it ends. A sound like something was bumped harshly into a sharp edge. Probably the reason behind Asiana - being beheaded alive. Distressing. And that, I think, was the most painful sound I ever heard. I couldn't take it anymore. I feel like dying. Anytime. The place is now screaming in too much misery.

The tears are uncontrollable this time. The pain is excruciating from within. Unexplainable.

I sat on the floor. Hands pulling hair harshly. Trying to stop and silence every sob - coming out from my chest. Crying out my soul. This is life. This is my enemy.

Until I felt someone. Embracing me from behind. But no one was there. Probably, Asiana's soul. In the meantime, I felt calm.

The place was been silent the whole time. But at the same time, deafening.

When Nari spoke quietly and said, "See? All she wanted is to die safe and sound. And that could only happen when she's with y--" I cut her off,

"Safeness! Is that shit even exist? In this cruel world?!" I belted, a voice rang out the room, I can feel my veins popping up in too much wrath and agony.

"It is. Do you want to die without even experiencing it?" she asked, with all her emotions.

I stood up and face her as I spoke, "I wanted to die because I never experienced it!"

"Stop fooling yourself!" she exclaimed, also stands up.

"Nari, enough. Let's just let him figure it out by himself. And he will see." Conan interrupted, speaking in his unusual tone.

Nari was about to speak again, when suddenly, the door swung open, showing up a teenage boy on his hospital gown. He spoke,

"PLEASE, YOU NEED TO HIDE!" he yelled, panicking as he repeatedly turning around. Undistinctive audible noises from the outside can be heard from here. I can smell wholesome trouble.

"... YOU'RE FREE TO OPEN THE WINDOW, AND RUN! NOW!" he added. As his frustration arise when he turns around for the last time. He quickly entered the room as he attempted to close the door, like trying to stop something.

"PANA! NO!" the teenage boy screamed, looking somewhere outside the door. I am slightly taken aback.

I was about to move when that moment...

All of us went surprised by a man, flown over the door cruelly, blasted into the window. Violently. Leaving the window glass scattered. We instantly back away. The poor man is now lying on the floor, twisting in pain. Everyone stiffened,

A few seconds after, the zombie girl named Pana showed up. Along with her horrifying presence. I felt the atmosphere darken as she stands at the doorway. Vicious stares she's welling out to the poor guy. The guy remained stiffened, fear on his face. He was probably thrown by her.

I grab the chance to escape by the window whole, I quickly turn my back. But then, I was stiffened,

As I felt a sudden grip down my left foot.

"You... I will kill---" I heard the man grumbled. But was cut off all of a sudden as I heard a deafening growl, and I think I know who is it. I turn around,

There she is, the zombie named Pana grabbed him by his foot. I pulled my leg. And watch her recklessly pulled him like a toy. Smashed him down the floor. Multiple times. Enormously. Violently. The man can't do anything but cry. While his head was banging aggressively on the floor. She didn't stop. Blood splashing into her face, staining the wall.

Until he can no longer move. Leaving his head completely ruptured. He's still alive. She kneel on the ground to reach his face when the poor guy suddenly spoke,

"Spare... my life" the poor guy whispered.

At that second, her eyes roll as it switches into mine, staring at me with her head down. I was stunned. Unexpressive, yet her eyes whisper for approval. By that, everyone aside the poor guy locks their eyes on me. I spoke.

"Spare his life," I told quickly... he wanted to live, let him. Still, I started to get nervous like I'm on a ride. I notice that she never spoke any word ever since I met her.

By that, Pana shoves him off her grip. Leaving me more astounded. She stood up, staring at me, I stare back unblinking. As she sweeps her head sideways, leaving a sign for us to run.

"Come on!" Conan snapped as he grabbed my wrist.

We quickly jump out the broken window, thankfully we're just on the ground floor.

For the last time...

At that moment, I expected that she had already spared his life...

But that's what I thought

As I heard a deep suffering cry from a man, echoed the whole place, we quickly turn around...

Fearing as we witness the man's head...

Being slowly beheaded by her, firmly twisting his head into his back, audible hilarious cracking, together with his flesh being squeezed. His eyes started popping out. He can't do anything but cry out in torment. His face is now rotated on his back. With his hands weakly fall down... a sign that he finally lose his breath. And die. His opponent was a sadistic monster. Indeed. Emotionless. She stands up. Licking the bloodstains on her fingers like she was already done.

But I think... she's not yet satisfied. As she draws out her knife on her chest,

And before we knew it, the sharp point of the knife was already inserted into his mouth. On its deepest. Letting out plenty of blood splattered all over her face. Yet she stayed unbothered. Without any emotions. I cannot stand this woman.

Pitiful. Yet so gross.

I don't even know who that guy is from his pursuit to kill us. But her killing is too cruel.

I snapped back and continue to escape. I hurriedly walk backward as I prepare myself for running, when I heard Nari spoke,

"I think she needs our help" Nari seriously stated. With her eyes still stuck inside the window.
