Theodore's 2nd P O V

Her ginger locks were nicely tucked away in a bun. She's dressed in a peach button-down shirt and a black pencil skirt that ends just below the knee. She's quite a professional. Nonetheless, I'm sure I'll be able to make use of her at some point in the future.

"Good morning sir," she greeted me formally before I could look any further.

She then started to check me out. She was still ogling after a couple of minutes with a straight expression on her face.

Someone appears to be smitten with by me, and she doesn't want me to notice she's checking me out. That's all new... Hmm interesting

Every assistant that's been smitten by me tends to give a seducing aura, They make it so obvious that they want me, But her, she's completely... something else

I cleared my throat making her look up finally and I smirked.

Seeing me smirk, she realised that she has been caught ogling me, she blushed a little and trying to stay calm.

She's cute... Wait what?

Did I just say she's cute?

"Sorry, sir, I came to report to you so you could tell me what I need to do and all. "

"Yeah Right, Then Ms Astrid Take those files to your desk and sort them alphabetically, as well as putting them all together individually in both tables. I'm going to need them soon." I looked at her and saw that she was paying close attention, so I continued.

"Check with the secretary and request that she give you with all of the information regarding my schedule. You will, in turn, give me thirty minutes' notice if I have a meeting or appointment. You will also greet my visitors and, of course, notify me in advance. That's all I've got for now." I said it in the most professional and serious tone I could manage.

"Yes sir, Thank you"

"Now do you your work, you can start now"

She nodded and made to leave after packing the files but stopped abruptly and faced me

" uhm, sorry sir, may I ask Where is my desk and office?

"Oh right, it's the room near to mine, right next to the secretary"

"Thank you, sir." She said and was about to lock the door when I stopped her.

"Ms Astrid,Make a cup of coffee for me. The coffee room is the last room on the right"

"Of course, sir," She replied before shutting the door, and someone opened it right away, and it was him, as expected. Zach... Ughhhh! Zach Wallker is the name of my jackass bestfriend. Oh God! Not again

"Hey, bro, so...What you doing" He said sounding as excited as always.

"Don't you know what 'respecting a person's privacy is?" I said acting annoyed.

"Well, good afternoon to you too, bro, you sure know how to welcome someone don't you?" He said sarcastically while taking a seat opposite my table.

I just sighed. There's no point to this anymore, I swear to God!. I know for sure that he wont badge so there is no point.

Zach Wallker has been one of my closest friends for a long time. One of my buddies from the first day. Our friendship began in an unusual manner. We were always rescuing each other from trouble. Especially in the presence of both of our parents.

"Now what do you want, say it before I'll throw you out" I said sounding bored and a little bit annoyed.

"Do you think of me like that huh?, that I always only come to you when I need something, you break my heart, Theo". He said feigning sadness dramaticly.

Trust me, Zach to get dramatic in this situation is so him. I rolled my eyes but shut my laptop because from the look of things, he's definitely gonna be here for a long time.

You know,He just loves to annoy me.

"Well, you're right this time though, I did come here for something."

Oh like I didn't know . Haha

"I came to ask you if you are still gonna drop your petition for the Anderson's project this year because I'm not, Bro, I'm serious"

"I am, of course, thank God you ain't applying, the less the better, less competitors greater chance of taking the contract." I said confidently.

"I knew it, well with the award you just bagged, it is a plus for you"

"Exactly" I smirked

"By the way, your secretary's got a cute *** and her hair is so damn gorgeous. Is she new? Never seen her before? Did you already devour her?" I knew what he's hinting at, just to know if I've any present or past flings with her.

"She is new. By the way, what're you doing here, don't you have work to do? " I replied clearly ignoring his earlier remark about Astrid.

"Nah, I dont , You know if I do have some work, I won't be here, Plus... Remember, I'm the boss of my company duh?"

Right.

"Actually, I have heard that this year, the Woodley's are putting a condition on the awarding of the contract"

"That's not new"

"Of course, I know. It's not like I'm living under a rock" He said in a 'duh' tone.

"Well I have heard that this year's condition is kinda tougher so.." He said while grinning.

He's trying to pressure me, I'm sure.

"Doesn't matter. I will do anything and everything to get the contract. Besides, my chances are very high this year." I said confidently.

He sighed but continued nonetheless.

"All the best of luck , bro and with that sexy secretary of yours." He said winking at me whilst standing up.

I gave him a 'you can never change kinda look'. He just shrugged and continued with his rantings.

"So, I'm gonna go now , don't miss me too much my dear Theodore and you're coming to the club right?"Zach asked

His sarcastic given nicknames, Tends to really annoy me

A knock on the door stopped me from giving him an answer.

"Come in," I responded, which caused me to earn a stern stare from Zach, as well as some smirking.

Yup, I know where this is about to go..
