School

"School?… But we're supposed to save the world from some Lord." Leon said.

"No more of that. We're going to school and that's that, okay?" I said to him with a face.

"Fine, but first I have to shower, and also as a reminder, you're acting like a mother." He said.

When he left, I blushed like crazy.

"Ugh, that guy!" I said

I ate breakfast and waited until Leon finished his shower.

When I was finished, he came out all dressed and ready.

"Do you think we should be wearing our uniform to school?" I said.

"Nah, they'll understand since we just lost our family," he said.

When we were ready we started walking to school.

"You know, I still feel bad that they died. Even if they weren't my actual family, they took care of me and treated me well." I said.

"Well I didn't care about my family. As a child, they didn't care if I was there or not. My father would hit me, and my mother did nothing about. My brothers would steal everything from me, even beat me up at school and get rid of my friends." He retorted as he glared at the ground.

"I'm sorry…" I mumbled.

"Why are you saying sorry?" he said. He was concerned.

"I made you remember those times," I said as my head goes down.

"Na, It's okay. I'm not bothered by those memories anymore, so don't worry." He said while he patted my head.

I blushed and rushed to school.

We finally arrived at school and enter through the front door. As soon as we entered, everyone stared at us.

I got nervous and walked in a hurry. I felt someone hold my hand.

I looked back, and it was Leon.

"It's okay. We have to act cool, ok." He calmly said to me.

It looked like we had the same classes, so we ended up holding hands until we reached our first class.

We sat down, and everyone was whispering and staring at both of us.

Class finally ended, and we were ready to get lunch.
