Chapter 4: Abduct

As the cold wind passed through, the sun was setting up and the night was about to take its place.

The tree that was stuck on the road hasn't been cleaned out.

Sebastian gets his phone in his pocket and calls his brother, Nicolas, to inform him of the situation they had.

Ring, ring…

"Hello? Avenido residence"

A woman's voice was heard. Sebastian speaks.

"It's me, Sebastian. I'd like to be with my brother"

"Of course, sir Sebastian"

The lady calls a maid and instructs her to call Nicolas from upstairs.

The maid arrives and knocks at his door.

Knock, knock…

"Who is it?" Nicolas' voice was heard.

"It's me, sir. Your maid. Your brother, sir Sebastian wanted you to at the phone"

"Okay, I'll get down now"

"Yes sir"

Nicolas stood up in his chair and put down the book he was reading. He opened the door and went downstairs.

The lady who takes care of the phone is still communicating with Sebastian.

Nicolas has arrived and taken the phone. Nicolas speaks up.

"What is it, brother?"

"We're stuck in here. In the middle of the road, the sun is setting. Can you send us a new car for us to so we can get there"

"All right brother. I'll send your car"

"Good, also send as four bottles of water, we're thirsty"

"Okay. Anything else?"

Sebastian hung up the phone call. Nicolas twitched his eyebrows and twirls his eyes.

"Sigh… That brother of mine. Still the same"

He turned and gave orders to the maid to prepare for four bottles of water and a car to catch his brother and Al.

After ten minutes, the car is prepared to depart and the bottles of water are ready.

The driver informs Nicolas that he will depart. Nicolas nodded and observed the car as it was moving away.

The situation where Al is complicated. His mom called him again and again but he didn't answer. He turned off his phone and put it in his pocket.

Sebastian looked at him, wondering who the caller was. But when Al put the phone in his pocket he didn't meddle in it.

As time goes by, the car that was sent hasn't arrived. The sun can't be seen and the night has been lingering around.

They went into the car to wait for the car Nicolas sent. The two men that were with Sebastian were guarding the car for their safety.

Al was worried about the situation, the tree is still in the road and they're in the middle of nowhere and it was dark outside that the only light was coming from the moon and the car.

Sebastian pulled a window-like between their seats. It has crackers, chocolates, and candy. Sebastian opened his mouth.

"Al? Do you want to eat? There are many kinds of foods in here, and after the sent car arrived we can eat much more delicious food"

I'm hungry but these foods are a bit sweet for me… But it's okay I need to eat, I don't want a tantrum with this guy.

"Okay, I'll take chocolate and crackers. Thanks"

"Your welcome Al"

Al opened the cracker and ate it.

Hmm… This thing is delicious, it's not that sweet but it's yummy.

While he was eating Sebastian speak to him

"Al? Do you consider joining us in this field?"

Al stops when he hears Sebastian. He looked at him with confused eyes and flicking his nails. Al opened his mouth.

"I don't know. Perhaps I'll be just a burden if I join you guys. Also, I don't know your business yet"

Sebastian chuckled about Al's statement.

"Al, we can discuss the information with you if you join us. You can't be a burden to us because you are the ex genius son of the laboratory we work"

Al still can't trust his words but he trusted the words about his father.

"Al, if we don't need you. Do you think I will say those words to you? You're very important to us"

"But I don't think I'm that important"

Sebastian smiled and par his head.

"I treat you because your father had helped us in the past, we just need to bring that kindness to you and your whole family"

"I'll need to recuperate my mind, can I do that at least?"

Sebastian Smiled and patted his head.

"Of course, you can do that Al. Don't waste your time thinking about it. Enjoy your youth"

Al nodded. After he said those words Sebastian went out to his men.

Al saw the two men bow to Sebastian and passed a note in white paper to him. He read it and put it in his pocket. He points his finger left and right and the two men depart from both directions.

What the hell are they? I need to go home before 6 p.m or else I might be in something serious here.

Knock, knock…

"Get out there Al"

It was Sebastian who knocked on the window. Al nodded and got out of the car.

"What is it? Has the car arrived?"

"Not yet Al. I think we need to get back to the city and sent you home for now"

Sebastian's eyes were worried when he said those words. Al didn't expect the outcome.

"Can we go now? Or not?"

crackling in the bush was heard.

"Who is that?" Sebastian yells.

"W-what is that? Are there wolves in here Mr. Sebastian?"

Sebastian's face is menacing. He didn't respond and just signal Al to stay behind him.

"Who are you? We don't have anything here"

A man appeared in the bush, holding a rod that converts electricity.

"Wait, is that a taser?" Al said.

"Ohh… You know this kid?" Chuckled.

Al gets his phone in his pocket to give light and see his appearance but it was turned off.

Sigh… such a stupid me. Why did I turn off my phone?

"Al… Al… if I signal at you, you go and enter the car. The key is still there and gets out of here"

"What? I don't know how to drive a car"

"Just do it, Al. We will be Al dead if one of us didn't escape"

"Hey!? What are you whispering there? Are you planning something huh?"

The man in black laughed so hard when he guessed their plan. He flicked him and four of them with black suits appeared.

Both of them are surprised. Sebastian opened his mouth.

"Al. I think it's much better to run instead of taking the car. Go! Run now!"

Both of them run towards where the tree is. The black-suit man followed them. Al opened his mouth.

"Mr. Sebastian? Who are those people? Huff, huff"

"I don't know, kid. Keep running until we find my men"

Al was worried about what would happen to them if they were caught.

We need to keep running until we find his men. How can I still be alive at that time?

My stamina is not that good.

I'm nearing my stamina.

How do I keep going?

Huff, huff, huff…

Al's heart suddenly stopped, his eyes twirl up, and stumbled on the ground. Sebastian stops as he sees Al stumble. He moves at the front and protects him from harming him.

"What a nicely done running," the black-suit man in front said.

"Don't touch this kid! He didn't do anything"

The black-suit man starts clapping.

"Well, well, well. If a person or two see us, we need to kill them so that we can't be tracked by the cops"

" F you. He doesn't do anything to you, why are you tracking us? Why are you suddenly following us?"

"Well, it was an order from above. We can't deny the order you know. Also, we're here for the money"

"You!!!"

Sebastian was agitated to fight the black-suits man when suddenly, Al growled loudly, blood went out in his mouth and nose. Sebastian gets Al and raises him a bit.

"Al? Al? What's happening to you?"

The blood is still flowing in his mouth. The black-suit man speaks up.

"Looking at the kid, he's hopeless. You just kill the kid you protecting"

He sarcastically laughed.

"Don't be like this, Al. You need to be alive Al. Please don't die"

"Okay, souls. Get him now. Leave the kid. He's dying now. We can't take a corpse-like that. It's a bit disgusting"

The four black-suit men held both of the arms and legs and dragged him to their car.

"Let me go, you bastard, argh!"

He got punched in his stomach and fainted.

Al is on the ground, catching his breath for him to be alive. He can see Sebastian being dragged by unknown people. The car of the unknown people arrives. They got inside and drove away.

Al was left behind suffering from some unknown Illness or disease. From there, Al looks above and sees a little light moving back and forth.

He unconsciously smiles and tears drop from his face.

Is this all? Will my suffering end here? Such magnificent light. I was wondering if I could touch that light before I passed out.

Sigh… I can't believe this is truly my time to leave this world.

A drop of water was heard.

What is that? Is that water? …Imagination?

The water keeps falling and ringing in his ear.

This makes me feel nostalgic but it's kind of irritating.

Splash!!!

"Kyaa!!! Huff, huff, huff"

Al woke up and stood up in the bed he was laying. Water kept falling in his body and suddenly felt something in his head, it was hurting like hell.

He slowly opens his eyes and sees rattan walls surrounding him. His undergarments have been changed to bandages and old clothes.

"You're awake now" he giggles.

Al looked to his side when he heard who spoke and saw a child-like three to four years old. He was holding a coconut shell and smiling at him. Al opened his mouth.

"Hey? Did you accidentally spill that water on me or you spilled it on me so that I wake up?"

"Ahmm… both" he giggles.

The kid runs outside and yells that the man who sleeps has been awake.
