The sound of the whistle blew, followed along with the thunderous cheers from the crowd when a ball entered into the basketball hoop.

Standing along the court, Lu KaiJing shouted it out loud and clear.

"Two points for Jin BaiYi.”

It had been an hour since the match started.

Gu ChenSian was soaked in sweat. His nervous breathing was getting deeper. He kept fidgeting. Mucus dripped from his nose every second but he breathed it back in.

Overall, he looked like he was on the verge of collapsing.

Under the hot sun, visible bullets of sweat rolled down his forehead. His dark brown were sharp and clear. His breathing was steady.

He stammered breathlessly as he collapsed to the ground.

"You should admit defeat and stop fooling around."

Lu KaiJing was standing in front of him. His hands on his hip.

"Do not underestimate our Boss Jin."

He warned Gu ChenSian and walked away, leaving him on the ground.

Gu ChenSian spat as he stood up with his buddies’ support.

"I will defeat you next time. Just you wait!”

He said angrily and left the court.

I was taking my time, walking towards the bleacher when I heard the sound of the whistle blowing.

Did the match end?

I climbed up the stairs and walked to my seat.

“Here, your yogurt.”

I handed the yogurt drink to YaoYao.

"What took you so long?"

Su MeiYao asked me as she took the drink from my hand.

"I was lost."

I lied to her. In truth, I purposely took the long route to the sports field.

"How do you even lose your way in school? You have the school map on your phone…"

I kept silent as she studied me.

YaoYao sighed.

"Alright, alright. As long as you're back.”

I looked down at the court and I regretted it.

Jin BaiYi wiped his sweat with his shirt, revealing his well-defined, muscular abs.

Lu KaiJing creeped behind him.

"Nothing specific. Just saw a little deer."

He turned his attention away from the bleacher.

"Little deer?"

Lu KaiJing curiously glanced towards the bleacher and saw no deer. He scratched his head.

"I don’t get it."

He turned back to face Jin BaiYi who was sitting on the bench, wiping his sweat with a towel.

"Hey bro, it’s not like you today to dilly dally in a game. You’re usually always in a rush to end our games.

Jin BaiYi wiped his sweat on his neck before he answered.

"If you have so much time to nag at me, maybe you should use that time to check on your girlfriend instead."

As he finished his last words, he strolled out of the court and disappeared.

"What? Hey bro where are-.”

His words were interrupted by Su MeiYao.

"Kai Jing!"

She shouted as she ran towards him.

"Oh hi wifey!"

He shouted back and approached her.
