~No one's POV~

Akane moved closer to Mitsua, slowly caressing his(Mitsua's) right cheeks with the back of his right hand. Making both his and Mitsua's heard thump loudly....

Nearing more towards Mitsua's left ear Akane slowly spoke, "You are not allowed to like someone other than me."

Hearing Akane's words Mitsua started blushing all over, his face showing different shades of red.😳

Even while blushing he couldn't help but ask, "Why?"

Akane froze on his spot for few moments creating an awkward silence. To break the awkwardness Akane spoke, "Hey! She is not good enough for you. You know? She's a blackmailer! And she has already cheated on someone from our school before. I'm the one who should protect my innocent bro right? Ain't I?"

Mitsua blushed heavily while mumbling a, 'yeah'.

“Though both of them have feelings for each other in a different way other than friendship, though they felt something when they were alone they couldn't recognise their hearts. Being children who were just in middle school they were unable to express it.”

~Mitsua's POV~

Mitsua had expected a different answer in his heart. But Akane had answered something else... Mitsua himself was confused as to why his heart beat so fast.

‘Why is my heart pounding so fast? When Akane came closer to me.. At that moment-’

"Keizra!"

Hearing the voice we both moved away from each other understanding where the voice came from.

Utsunomiya Toya. Best friend of Keizra Akane who often hand out with each other like a boss and his assistant..

{*Note:- Ofc Boss is Akane. And the assistant is Toya.*}

~No one's POV~

"Keizra where have you been? I was searching for you all over the school!", Toya spoke looking at Mitsua who stood beside Akane.

"Hey call me Akane. Don't call me by my first name🙄 How many times should I say that to you? You punk!", Akane spoke in a fake irritating tone.

Toya shrugged it off,"Come with me. Let's go to the class, the teacher called you."

Akane waved to Mitsua and left with Toya.

Mitsuya stood there in confusion. ‘Why this happened with me? I wanted to talk to him.... But they already went to class. Guess I'll have to wait for school to get over.’

•In Akane's Class•

"Why aren't you coming to play with us?"

"Come on man! Let's play! Please!"

The classmates begged Akane, but Akane was worried about Mitsua.

He always spend time with Mitsu on weekends and so he didn't want to join them for the game. His classmates giggled and spoke,"Then it's a deal now. Don't forget to come!"

Akane nodded silently. While Mitsua watched the dramatic show which was going on around his best friend aka Akane and had a strange feeling in his heart. He felt he was lucky while unknowingly he stared at Akane.

Feeling the longing stare at himself Akane turned around and saw his cute bestu looking at him intensely. It made him blush all over.

***trinngggg***

The bell rang

Everyone started moving except one person. And it was Shiori. She looked ar Mitsua confusingly. She wanted to speak to him but, was hesitating. Finally when she overcame her hesitation and was about to speak to Mitsua someone grabbed Mitsua's hand and strode out while dragging him.

Akane noticed that she wanted to talk to ‘his’ best friend after all.😌

Meanwhile, Mitsu was blank as everything happened so quickly...

When realisation hit him he looked at Akane who was dragging him and asked," What happened to you Akane? And what are you doing now?"

"...Me?... nothing happened. But now I'm going to carry you."

Mitsua was shocked hearing that. He asked timidly,"What?C-carry me?"

Akane chuckled," Aiya! Just lifting you in my cycle to go to our sweet home!"

Mitsua blushed hearing that,"W-what are you saying? our home?😳"

Seeing Mitsua like that Akane chuckled lightly," Hey! You are acting weird now! What happened huh? Did you maybe..... Think that I was going to carry you in my arms to my cycle like a couple? Am I right?"

Saying that Akane showed a sly smirk to Mitsua.

Mitsua noticed it and thought in his heart,‘Shit! How can he understand what I was thinking? You idiot Mitsu! How can I answer to that now! I'm feeling like a girl.’

Despite the thoughts in his heart Mitsu spoke something else," Who said that to you? You Pabo!" Saying that Mitsu immediately turned his head to the other way and blushed.

Akane shook his head," Okay. Let's drop that topic. We should go now. Come. And I have something to do. So fast hop on!"

Without wasting any time Mitsu sat on Akane's bicycle while putting his hands around Akane's waist. And just like that they started moving and reached their sweet home in no longer than 15mins like everyday.

~In front of their house~

Mitsu wanted to talk to Akane. But instead of that he waved to him and went back. Seeing Mitsu go Akane also stepped inside his house and directly went to his room to get refreshed.

After that he sat near the window which faced Mitsua's room and gazed towards Mitsua's room.

{Note:- Guys, I hope you all know about the paper cup telephone that is used in animated stories. Being in middle school neither of our leads have a phone yet. So they are using the paper cup phone to convey their messages to each other. Okay?*}

(In Mitsua's side)

He had changed into a pink T-shirt and held onto a cute teddy bear before sitting near his window. Suddenly he heard a light sound outside and turned towards Akane's room's window. Mitsua saw Akane looking at him while revealing his fair upper body from Akane's room....
