~Demetrius' POV~

Alexander has been a good friend of mine for over ten-years, he is a private detective, one of the best. When my father was kidnapped five-years ago it was Alexander who helped me find him. Unfortunately, we never did find out who kidnapped him. I have no doubt that it was Fabio, his reason, I would never know.

"Take me through what happened back in Rhodes." Alexander spoke, immediately getting straight to business.

"Fabio and his goons came after me and I narrowly escaped. I took the next flight down to Athens and when I came home, I found a pile of dead bodies and a note, Sophia was gone." I clenched my fists as I told Alexander what had happened, when I get my hands on my cousin, I would kill him, that was certain.

"Do you know anybody who would have any clue on where he has taken Sophia? Any friends?"

I scoffed, laughing bitterly to myself. "Fabio doesn't have friends, he has workers, people he threatens to get what he wants."

Alexander nodded, thinking silently to himself. "Do you have any idea, seeing as he is your cousin?"

I shrugged. "Other than his house, I can't think of anywhere else."

"Okay, we are going to have to get a few members of the team to watch Fabio's house for a couple of days-"

"Couple of days? Alexander, I have dealt with your non-stop questions calmly and patiently, I am not going to wait a couple of days. I want to see my wife now! Even if I have to find her myself."

I slammed my fists on the table and swiped all of Alexander's equipment onto the floor in anger. "Fabio is going to pay for what he has done!"

Alexander didn't lash out, he remained calm. "I know how you feel Dem, but if we are going to find your wife alive and well, I need you to cooperate with me. Remember how long it took me to find your father, these things take time Demetrius, have a little faith."

I sighed, sitting back down, "It's all my fault, it's all my fault." Covering my face with my hands I let a huge breath in worry. Sophia is the love of my life, the only woman I've ever loved, but I was just to blind to see that, but when I finally did, it was too late. But I had no one to blame, no one but myself.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so worried, I can't stand the thought of Fabio with her." I shook my head to rid myself of the thought, if I wanted to find Sophia quickly then I couldn't allow my temper to get the best of me.

"Since you've decided to destroy all my electronics, I guess we'll use the old-fashioned paper and pen." Alexander chuckled, already getting out his notebook and a pen. I laughed after such a long time in my life. "Sorry about that."

~Sophia's POV~

I have been pushed, where to, remained a mystery. My eyes were blindfolded and I could feel Fabio's labored breaths against my cheek.

"Don't worry my love, I'll protect you, I won't let him find us." I prepared myself for his cold kiss, making sure to hide my disgust, but gasped when the blindfold was suddenly ripped from my eyes.

I was in a dark room, filled with boxes and equipment, it wasn't a house where someone could live, it was more like a stocking room, what am I doing here?

I felt my bottom lip tremble, it was cold and eerie in this room, the classic murder scene. "W-what are we doing here?" I asked, fearing his answer.

"We're in hiding, Demetrius is alive and coming for us, but don't worry my love, I'll protect you." He talked as if the news of Demetrius' survival upset me, like the last thing I wanted was for him to bust through those doors and take me away from Fabio.

Boy was he wrong. I couldn't hide the smile on my face and tears of joy that Demetrius was alive, I don't know what I would have done if he was dead.

Thankfully his attention was on his phone, so he didn't spot my display of happiness.

"Do I look like I give two sh!ts that your mother is in hospital, you owe me, so you get your @ss down here now and look after my wife. Remember you are still on oath." I choked on air at his words, wife? The last time I checked bigamy was illegal and there was no way in hell I would be marrying this psycho.

"Leave Seth be boss, I'll look after her."

I looked up in the direction of the sudden voice. "Casper?" I questioned in shock, taking a second look at the familiar voice.

"You two know each other?" Fabio questioned confused. He wasn't the only one, Casper worked for Fabio?

"Yeah, we attended high school together." Casper lied smoothly, as I prepared to call his bluff, I thought better of it and kept my mouth shut.

Fabio bought his lie, hook, line and sinker. "Take care of her Casper, I have some errands to run...you know what happens if you don't."

"Yes boss." Casper nodded.

When Fabio had left, I began to question Casper. "You work for Fabio? That makes no sense, if you were working for Fabio why were you trying to help me escape?"

Casper didn't answer my question, in fact he only laughed at me. "You just had to be a stubborn little princess, didn't you? If you had just listened to me none of this would be happening."

"Yes, but my husband would be dead." I argued.

"Better him than you. Sophia, you don't know your husband, he is a walking target. Even if you manage to get rid of Fabio, there will be more, so many more people, you'll never be safe."

"What do you mean? What has Demetrius done?" I asked, fear evident in my voice.

"It's not in my place to tell. Go ask your husband since he can do no wrong in your eyes."

I sniffed. "That's not true."

"Keep telling yourself that Princess, you don't know what happens behind closed doors."

"Who do you work for?"

"Fabio."

"That's not true."

"I'm here now, so it must be true." He stared at me smirking.

"Then why did you try and help me get away knowing that's the exact opposite of what Fabio wants? Who are you Casper? Is that even your real name? Who do you work for? Does Fabio even know you were secretly meeting me at the club?"

"Stop!" Casper held up his hand and I immediately moved away from the visible tattoo beneath his shirt.

~Demetrius' POV~

I knew I couldn't spend one more day apart from Sophia, not to talk of two-weeks which was the predicted time Alexander said it would take to find her.

"Alexander, I need you to find her, please, I'll double your money if I have to, just bring my wife back." I was at breaking point I couldn't take it anymore, waiting and watching as time went by.

"Dem, I need you to calm down, we will find your wife, I just need you to think. Fabio must already be aware that you're still alive, so he must have moved Sophia somewhere else. Most likely the last place you would look."

I ran a hand frustratingly through my hair, I couldn't think of anything, I always came up blank.

"Think Demetrius, you know Fabio is obsessively in love with Sophia. He knows you know that, that's why he wouldn't take her to any of his other expensive houses, it's too predictable. Think of somewhere grimy and uncomfortable, think about the last place he would take the love of his life."

My head shot up; a wide smile spread across my face. "The warehouse."
