New hopes

A month passed like that

nothing else changed, except kook's anxiety.. it was increasing day by day.. may be perks of being an eomma soon

and there came the day for Yugyeom to leave for Paris.. kook was 8 months pregnant by now

Yugyeom was packing his stuff and kook was helping with teary eyes and pouty face.. he literally looks like a fluff ball now with that puffy cheeks, pouty lips and big baby bump

Can't you just stay for a month?? Go wherever you want after my delivery

Jungkook, I told you.. I'm not changing my decision(says in a kinda soft voice)

Yugyeom's softness made kook's heart flutter and the baby kicked.. but kook choose to ignore that.. he was rather sad than admiring the baby's kicks

After 2 hours, Yugyeom left there without even properly bidding goodbye.. kook felt numb with all those emotions overpowering him..

few weeks passed like that...

Kook felt all alone there even though Namjin always stayed beside him and cared for him. This isn't new for kook. Yugyeom always goes on business trips and conferences, but this one was long and kook's due date was nearing..

Stress, anxiety, excitement, happiness, sadness and depression.. kook doesn't know what's going through his mind..

To top it all, Kook has the habit of overthinking ever since he was hit with the reality of life.. it was creating insecurities in him, about his life, his husband, his baby and all

And One day like that, Kook fainted in his room due to the increase in bp and he was admitted to the hospital till the delivery date

Days passed and One day.. it was nighttime.. Jin was sleeping beside kook in the room.. kook was laying too..but he felt difficult to sleep..and soon he started having contractions

Jin was sleeping, but kook's trembling voice was enough for him to wake up.. Jin jumped out of the bed and ran to kook

kookie?? what?? what happened???

kook was too weak to even form words.. Jin immediately rushed to call doctors and soon the nurses came to take kook to the labor room..

In the meantime, Jin informed Namjoon and they both waited outside the room

After half an hour, the doctor came outside

Doctor.. is everything okay?

Doctor

His bp levels aren't normal. Let's wait for some time. if it's not normal, then a c-section might be needed..

Doctor

Where's his husband? he has to sign the consent letter if in case we need c-section

Kim Namjoon

he's not here..he's on a business trip

Doctor

then call him immediately.. and you can sign instead

Doctor left from there and Namjoon immediately called yugyeom..

meanwhile with Yugyeom:

It was around 3 am there in Paris.. The phone rang almost 6 times now

Random girl: darling your phone is ringing (sleepy voice)

where's it?

random girl: it's on the table

can you pick that phone.. I can't get up from the bed (rubs his eyes in sleep)

Random girl: I'm n@ked (says shyly)

Kim Yugyeom

but I saw everything of you..(chuckles)

Yugyeom gets up from the bed and covers his lower half with the bedsheet..then he took the call

📲 what's up appa?

Namjoon tells everything about kook and yugyeom heard it with a frown..

📲 do whatever you want.. I have to sleep..

Yugyeom cuts the call and went to bed..

What did he say?

What a human he is??!! I can't figure out how he became like this?? Whom to blame?? we spoiled him.. we are responsible for his behaviour.. (grits his teeth)

We can't do anything now

Soon the doctor came asking about the consent..

Kim Seokjin

Doctor.. please take good care of him.. we only have him.. (teary eyes)

Doctor

don't worry.. his bp level is almost normal now.. so we might not need a c-section now. I said it just in case of emergency

Soon kook's painful screams can be heard and after almost 2 hours, it suddenly stopped as a newborn's loud cries started to fill the room..

Namjin instantly stood up from the seat and walked near the door of the labor room with glittery and teary eyes..

The door got opened and the nurse came out with a cute lil baby girl wrapped in white soft fabric

She gives the baby to Jin who received the baby with tears streaming non-stop.. Namjoon's eyes were glistening with tears too

After some time, they were allowed to enter the room.. Namjoon helped kook and made him half lay on the bed..

Then Jin gave the baby to kook's hands. Kook held the baby close to his chest sharing the warmth with tears flooding his eyes as he gave soft kisses all over the baby.

This baby is his everything.. his hope.. his only hope, to have a new beginning.. new life and new perspectives

Within few days, kook got discharged from the hospital and they came back to the mansion

In the meantime, Namjin has arranged everything for the baby in yukook's room.. baby cradle, baby products, clothes, toys and everything..

The days started to pass beautifully in the mansion, with the presence of the infant..




