Episode 4: I Was Mad

After the party, Xia Lyn hurriedly left with her parents and rushed back to her room.

“Honey, what's wrong with our daughter?”

“I don't know babe, maybe our daughter is tired.”

Her mother knocked on the door. “Sweetieeee, are you okay? Please let me know if you are fine.”

“Mom, I'm fine.”

“Okay, change your dress and after that you must sleep. Plus don't forget to turn off the lights.”

“Noted.” Xia said with a weak voice.

I was still thinking about Jeremy, and I didn't know if I will be able to talk with him again. “Why Jeremy was so cold earlier? I never had a chance to eat with him. Seriously?! The party was fun and he was there outside? Maybe he was thinking someone else, and perhaps it was Elaine.”

The Next Day

“Mom, good morning.”

“Good morning.”

“Mom, where's Dad?”

“Sweetie, he already left for a work. You miss your Dad, today we did not have a time to eat with him, because he was in a hurry.”

“Mom, I understand. Let's eat now.” she said graciously.

“My daughter is so sweet! Let's eat our breakfast.” her mother's lips curved upwards.

I was delighted, because my Mom smiled again.

“Mom, I'll go now.”

“Sweetie, watch the cars.”

“Thank you Mom!”

...At day...

...By an enchanted way...

...I walked the Earth in wonder,...

...And had no word to speak....

“Xia?”

“Je . . . Jeremy?!”

“I apologize for what happened last night.”

“It's okay, but do I have a permission to ask about what happened to you?”

“I was mad, and I was . . .”

“So you were mad, continue it.”

“It's nothing. Yeah, you didn't come to play with me, and yesterday evening you didn't say sorry! Seemed like you forgot about me. That's why I was mad.”

I had no clue that he waited for me, and I was the reason why he was bored and angry.

“Waitttt! You waited for me?”

“Yes, I waited for you to come.”

“Jeremy, I will never forget you. It's my fault! I apologize, my Mom didn't . . .”

“It's okay, I understand Xia.”

“Are you sure?

“It's really okay.”

“Are we okay now?”

“Yes.” Jeremy said.

“. . . Honestly, I was astonished that you live in a mansion.”

“Now you met my parents accidentally.”

“Yeah, they are really kind, and I also met your brother.”

“Forget him.”

“Huh?”

“It's nothing, don't think that my brother and I are close.”

“Are you serious Jeremy? You mean you two are not close?”

“Let's go!”

“Jeremyyyy! Don't change the topic!”

“Haha! Chase me Xia!”

“Roarrr! Run and hide now Jeremy! I'll chase and find you!”

“Ahahaha! You can't find me!”

“Hurry and run!”

“Hahaha!” he laughed.

...I always feel like time runs out so fast every time we’re together. I wish I could frost the time, because I’m scared to lose you. I wish I could pause my favorite moments with you Jeremy, and stay in them for as long as I want. But I know those things are impossibles....

“Jeremy, I'm so exhausted!”

“Haha! Me too!

“The sunset is so . . . beautiful.”

“Yeah, and there are so many birds! Xia, next time come with me in the mansion.”

“Why?”

“We will play and eat there, with Justin.”

“Wow! Thank you Jeremy, I want to see your brother again.”

“I know you really like candies!”

“Hahaha! Jeremy, look at my teeth! It's all your fault! Hahaha!”

“Hahaha! I don't want to see that! I'm afraid to see Xia Lyn's teeth!”

“Hahaha! You must see my teeth!”

He ran away. “Noooo! Hahaha!”

“Just kidding! Wait for me! Ahahaha!”
