I am restless.

I can't sleep.

Jack hasn't called yet.

It's almost 10 o'clock.

This is the first time, he never missed a night not calling me. It's past his call time. He knows very well that im free in this hour. I'm done from doing my assignments and studying.

Is he enjoying himself so much?

Or is it because Melissa's there too?

Okay. Let's call him instead.

But before i could call, my phone rings.

It's Jack...

I answered it quickly.

"Come on ba-"

"Shhhh" -Jack

"Hi baby." -Jack, he sound so sweet.

"You call me so late today. :(" -sounding like a baby.

"Im sorry babe, the game was so fun, i almost forgot." -Jack

Almost forgot?....

"Oh. Okay. I'm actually just waiting for your call to say goodnight. Im tired and sleepy." -sounding like a robot.

"Babyyyy, you should have gone to sleep instead of waiting for my call, you could have just left me some messages instead." -Jack

"Okay, I'll do that." -Me.

"Ye. Iloveyou." -Me

The fact that he "almost forgot" about me, and the fact that he didn't notice how my mood switched makes me think if his feelings for me are still as deep as before.

Should I be grateful that he did not forget to call me but just almost?

He didn't even notice my cold responses, he knows i was never like that, he knows I don't go to sleep feeling like shit and he never let me before, and now? Instead of asking what's wrong! He even suggested to just leave him some messages?

He is changing... My Jack is changing....

Was it him that changed? or his feelings for me?

Im driving to school feeling like shit. Fucking asshole didn't even call to say good morning.

I was parking my car when i saw from my side mirror, Melissa and Jack are talking, Melissa gave him something before leaving.

After i parked my car, i was just going to ignore Jack and walk straight but he stopped me.

"Whoa whoa whoa, baby what's wrong? -Jack.

What's wrong? Still clueless huh?!

"Where were you last night Jack?"- Me

Let's get straight to the point. He didn't notice how my mood switched last night. Let's see if he'll notice now that I'm mad.

"What do you mean? You know i was at Rex's with the team." -Jack

He's starting to fidget.

"Oh ye? Who was that you were talking to?" -Me

"Babe that was Melissa, you know her, Rex's girlfriend, remember? And we're friends." -Jack

"What did she gave you?" -Me

"Oh. My phone. I left it at Rex's last night. Baby can we talk about this later? I'm actually late for my first subject. Okay? Iloveyou. Bye." -Jack

Then he leaves.

After Jack left. I rushed to my room na din, im not late im just pissed.

He's pretending not to notice!!!!

Before i could reach our classroom i bumped into Leo (one of his teammates and they're at the same class too)

"Ollie? What a good timing." -Leo

"Oh Leo. What's up? Ha ha" -Me

"I was actually looking for you to ask you a favor." -Leo

"I don't have money." -Me

He laugh

"Man, i have money." -Leo, still laughing

"What is it then?" -Me

"Can you tutor me? You see, I'm bad at geometry and exam na namin tomorrow, so stressful tsk. *Sigh* " -Leo

Tutor? Geometry?

It's my turn to laugh.

"Leo. I don't tutor. Do i look like i know geometry?" -Me

Is he kidding me right now? Hahaha

"We know Jack gets special treatments but as your boyfriends friend please consider me. Have mercy on me." -Leo

"Special treatment? I don't even tutor him." -Me

"Come on. We know about you tutoring him. He even left early lastnight to study with you." -Leo

My right eyebrow rose

"What do you mean?" -Me.

"You see. Rex and Jack left early last night. Rex was called home for dinner around 7pm I think, and Jack left because he said you'll tutor him for the exams tomorrow. And he said you're good at geometry. It was already 9pm when he left to study. I mean, is it effective to do a midnight study? And he left with Melissa by the way. " -Leo

"What?" -sounding surprised.

"Ollie you look so confused right now." -Leo

Just cause i am confused!!!!

He left to study with me?

With me????

He wasn't even with me last night!!!

And just this morning he told me he left his phone at Rex's last night!!!

He left with Melissa??

Where were you last night Jack!?!?!

"What exam?" -Me

"Oh. You were confused about the exam. You know this. The players take the exams first so we could pay more concentration at practice and plays, remember?" -Leo

"Oh. Yes I remember psh, sorry for asking." -Me

"So? Can you tutor me too?" -Leo

"If I tutor you later, it's not midnight studying anymore." -Me

"It's fine." -Leo

"Okay, my class for today ends at 3. How bout yours?" -me

"But my class ends at 4." -Leo

"It's okay, i can wait, let's just do it at the library so I can study while waiting." -Me

"Really? That's a relief." -Leo

"And by the ways, It's almost 7:30 aren't you late? " -while checking the time.

"It's okay, my class starts at 8 o'clock and i still have 30 minutes. Anyways gotta go. See you later. Thank you Ollie :D " -Leo

His class starts 8 o'clock?
