A solo mom's life

Few years passed Kookie grew up very handsome and Lisa can't help but be reminded of the face of the young business tycoon that she named her son after.

Mina don't know Jeon Jungkook's face so she never had any idea but kept praising Kookie's very handsome face,he is now turning 6 and Lisa called him Kookie because it was the cutest shortened Jungkook

Though Lisa can't stop noticing that her son looked very similar to the business man Jungkook,it really never crossed her mind that there is a possibility that he is her son's father.

She looks up at him and admired him in every way but not to the extent of fantasizing him to be her future husband or anything.But she kept her faith that there is no way that man is her son's dad.

She thought,maybe the business man Jungkook looks like her son because she have been admiring him as a role model.

She thought,that guy could never do anything like what that monster did to her. It's very far from his personality judging from his aura and demeanor in those interviews she watched where Jungkook was a guest.

Lisa went on with her busy life as a single mom ,she continued to work for Mina as the petshop's manager and cashier.

She wakes up early to do some house chores such as cleaning their house and cook for their breakfast.

Then she would go to work when Roseline arrives to take care of her son.

Roseline's job when Kookie turned three,was to accompany him to his nursery school in the mornings and make him sleep,rest and play in the afternoon.

She also did some house chores while Kookie was asleep in the afternoon.

Lisa became cashier as well aside from managing the pet shop ,it was her that needed double job for their living.

Mina was hesitant to let her overwork but Lisa was persistent to keep both jobs.

After work,Lisa would rest for fifteen to thirty minutes,then will start doing their laundry and some other house chores.

When Roseline leaves in the evening,she would be the one attending for Kookie until they go to bed.

That was their daily routine,they only had different activities at weekends.

Sundays is Roseline's days off and Lisa's days off also from her work.

Mina usually visits them or sometimes Lisa and Kookie would go to Mina's house and they would spend the whole Sundays together.

Sometimes they also go shopping or just spend times together outside the house.

Lisa was very busy but she maintained her disguise.

"Do you still need to disguise even after many years?that monster you say maybe has forgotten about you.Kookie is growing with your disguise,do you intend to live forever as Priya with black hair and black eyes?" Mina reminded her of her disguise.

Yes,years passed so quickly and she also can't believe she maintained her disguise.

She really got used to it ,she stopped using eye contact lenses after few months during her pregnancy period but she maintained the color of her hair.

Inorder to maintain her hair,she shaved her hair and wore wig sometimes but sometimes she let her hair grow and colored it black.

"It's better to be sure ,who knows one day I'll bumped into him and he would recognize me right away" Lisa answered blankly.

"Do you think he's still looking for you?" Mina asked curiously.

"I don't know but I'm still scared that one day he will take me again,I won't let it happen again especially now that I have Kookie to live for" Lisa replied.

"Okay,let's pray he already forgot about you" Mina said softly

When Mina left,Lisa went back to the painful memories she went through.

What hurted her more is that she is hiding from a person she doesn't know what he looked like.

She wished she could have atleast saw the face of the man so that she would know who to avoid or hide from when they cross paths once again.

She felt like she was hiding from a ghost who knows her well while she don't even know a hint about him.

She don't even know who to avoid that's why even if she had many suitors or admirers,she never gave anyone a chance to get closer to her because she always feared the possobility that one of them might be the guy or associated with him?

Lisa sighed then went back to Kookie's room who was then already asleep.

She went close to him and looked at him deeply.

Kookie is so handsome,Lisa smiled and somehow thought,maybe those things happened to her so that she will have a loving and amazing kid like him.

Even if he is young,Kookie is already multi talented,he always topped in his school,he also asked her that she wanted to learn playing drums and piano so Lisa bought him a piano.

Since she thought maybe it wasn't good if he learns things at the same time,she told him that after he mastered playing piano then she will buy drums for him.

Lisa imagined maybe if he will grow up,he will be like that business Jungkook she admired.

Though,they are not rich,Lisa promised to herself that she will do her best to be the best parent to him.

She will try to give everything that Kookie needs.

She will not allow him to suffer and go through hard ships she had been through.

The feeling of no family,no parents,the hardships she went through just to achieve her dreams and especially the feeling of being looked down by other people.

Though,he will grow without a dad,Lisa promised him she will be the best mom and dad to him.

Lisa got up and was about to go to her bed when she heard Kookied murmured a words

"Mom,don't cry,I will bring dad to you"

Lisa's eyes widened
