Mistaken identity

It's been few hours since Jungkook left his house,he just finished with his exclusive meeting with one of his top clients from other country.

He strictly instructed Jimin not to interrupt him no matter what happens because the meeting was very important to him.

When he the meeting was over he still refused to accept calls because he wanted to take a break.

While taking a rest he looked up at the ceiling feeling releived because the meeting went smoothly and his company got the deal with one of the successful company abroad.

While thinking about the deal, he recalled the girl and the moment flashed in his memory.

Her big black eyes begging for him to stop and the pain in those eyes he can't forget.He only intended to take her once to make her feel his wrath but there's something about her that left him craving for more.

He didn't want to admit it to himself but he got addicted of her instantly.The moment he touched and kissed her,he couldn't stop himself from devouring her.It was the first time he felt that way for a woman

He hated himself for feeling that way bc aside from she is Mathew's girlfriend,she is the reason why his brother tried to kill himself.

He kinda felt sorry when he recalled her pleadings.but he recalled how she ruined her brother's life.

While he was cursing himself Jimin knocked and entered his office.

The meeting is over so I thought it's fine to distract you for a moment" Jimin said smiling

then before Jungkook can even shout at him he informed him about the endless calls from his penthouse.

He called the guard to ask why they called.

"Sir,sorry to inform you but the woman escaped this morning!" the guard informed nervously.

Jungkook just slammed the phone,he didn't want to know how dumb his men were.

He immediately ordered Jimin to call all airports to hold the woman or trace which country she went if ever she was able to escape for few hours that she escaped from his penthouse.

"I also deployed men at terminals and gave them the woman's file and description. For sure she has't left the town yet,knowing she doesn't have anything with her,I guess" Jimin informed.

"Good, inform the police stations as well to help in searching for her" Jungkook added.

Jungkook couldn't believe a weak woman was able to escape his hands.

"Make sure ,I will not catch you woman ,or else I will do worst to you" Jungkook thought while crumpling Renee's file.

After the whole day of work, he went straight to visit his brother at the hospital.Mathew was still in comma.

After an hour he decided to go home,while he was parking his car, he received Jimin's call.

"Jungkook,I think we got the wrong person, our secret agent at the departure department said that Renee Brentson left the country 3 days ago,the day your brother committed suicide" Jimin informed.

Upon hearing that,Jungkook was speechless and was shaking,he just hung up the phone and starred blankly at Renee's crumpled file on the floor.He didn't know what to say.

He blankly entered his house and was met with maids and guards bowing in fear.

He ignored them since he also made a mistake by taking a wrong person to revenge on.

Jungkook went straight to his room,since he instructed his maids not to enter his room that day until he said so he found the roon still uncleaned.

He sat on the edge of the bed then pulled the sheet absent mindedly, then he saw those dried blood blotches reminding him how he broke that woman mercilessly.

Then he saw a letter on it.

He flip opened it

"To whoever you are who broke and destroyed me. One day you will find out, you punished the wrong person. I hope you will not find the real person anymore to punish them since I already paid in behalf of them.Because if you do, those things you did to me will go to nothing.Your revenge on her I will just take it as I JUST CAUGHT A BULLET FOR SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW." the letter said

Jungkook crumpled the paper,he realized his anger and fury drove him to recklessness, didn't do thorough review on the person he took revenge on.

He let his emotions control him which led to ruining an innocent person's life.

He saw his drawer was open wide so he stood up to close it but he found his favorite watch was missing.

He wasn't able to wear it that morning because he was rushing because he was a little late for his important meeting.

He felt kind of releived thinking the woman will not go zero after leaving if she sell it and use it but even so, what ever it cost, it will never be able to pay the damage he has done to her and will still not be enough to sustain her even for a year.

So he decided to still look for her,but this time not for revenge but to make up with her and maybe pay for the damages he has done to her.

He was sure the woman hates him now and doesn't want to see him., And for sure,she would demand him to pay for what he has done to her and that is to jail him because he has done crimes to her like abduction,rape and grave threat.

He ordered Jimin to look for the informations about a woman they mistakenly kidnapped.

Jungkook lied on the bed feeling so guilty. Upon closing his eyes,he recalled her begging eyes,her screams in pain and begging for mercy. Her eyes ,he will never forget.

The next morning,Jimin handed him a file

File report:

Name: Lisa Manoban

Age: 21

Parents: unknown

Occupation: Branch manager

Company: Local Food Lovers Inc.

"She shared unit with Renee because they became very close and didn't want to separate. She was also voluntarily tutoring for Renee that's why Renee decided to move in and share room with her. She instantly became branch manager because she worked years for the small company before and during her college. So when she graduated her employer promoted her right away" said Jimin

"Impressive right? she grew up in orphanage,was able to finish her school all by herself then became manager right away because of her hard works,honesty and loyalty towards her boss during when she was still studying then one day she was taken by mistake then.." the Jimin stopped looking at him.

Jungkook just looked away.

"I went to the company she worked for and obviously they don't know what happened to her, they think she just left for some urgent matter. According to them she just called that day you abducted her that she has emergency and is leaving for few days" Jimin added.

"They didn't ask you why you're digging up about her? Jungkook asked .

" No I just said,I am one of her former classmates in college.Judging from her records she has good future ahead of her but all stumbled in an instant" Jimin said shaking his head.

Jungkook just avoided his gaze.

"Aside from kidnapping her and threathening her ,what else did you do to her?" Jimin asked curiously

Jungkook still stared blankly on the floor.Then suddenly stood up and left.

He never felt so guilty all his life.
