I caught myself looking at this girl.

I looked away and snapped back to reality, I picked up my books.

" . . Dude, You're weird, but in a good way ", Jake said.

" yeah. ." I then chuckled, "mind helping me with the locker by opening it. . ?"

Jake isn't paying attention. . .

. . . He's looking at those girls. . .

They'd go for Jake. . .

I placed my books in the locker and I pat Jake's shoulder, "Let's go. .", I blushed and glared to the side.

"We should totally get their numbers!", Jake yelled in excitement and leaned against the locker.

"What's in it for me?", I asked, "They'd take your number anyway. .", I glanced at the two girls.

. . . They're out of my league. . .

"That's where you come in, my friend", Jake chuckled and a smirk grew onto his face. What evil plan does he have in place?

I say in a confused manner, "Excuse me?".

Jake gave me a shove," Come on, don't be shy", he smirked. In this moment, it looks like he has horns on his head and a tail, maybe a scythe too. He pushed me, literally pushed me against the one girl, he quickly walked away, leaving me there.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?", the one girl asked.

My face is red. .

"I.. I... I.. I'm s...sorry. . ", I stuttered.

"No, No! I'm sorry", she said, "You're not hurt are you?", she gave me a concerned look.

I'm nervous. .

. . My hands are shaking. .

"I.. I'm f.. Fi--" I uttered.

"Angel! C'mon, lunch will be over soon", her friend complained

I asked, "Angel. . .?" I raised my head and looked at her.

"Hi there!", she smiled, "That's my name, this is my best friend, Chantel!"

Angel. . A literal angel. .

"Did you find another horn dog, trying to try his luck again?", Chantel said as she was checking me out, "Touch her and you'll die".

"I w-won't. . B-but. . h-horn dog. . .?", I asked.

Chantel gave me a concerned look and said, "Sweetie, who did this to you?"

"uh.. Uh.. Uhm", I stuttered.

"But wait", Angel said.

I looked at her, even though I'm all red in my face.

"What's your name?", She smiled as she asked.

"Kariiii!!!", Jake yelled from a far, "There you are!!". I blushed out of embarrassment.

The girls and I looked that direction.

"Sorry ladies, he has a tendency to just. wonder off", Jake came up with that dumb excuse.

"Kari?, that's your name?" Angel asked as she tilted her head.

" . . . Y-yeah. . . " I blushed and looked to the side.

" Aww! It's so beautiful! I love your name!! " without a doubt she hugged me, so tightly.

"we're about to get lunch, so if you will excuse us", Chantel said in an annoyed manner.

"Can Kari come with? Please. . ", She gave Chantel puppy-dog eyes as she asked, it's so cute. .

" M.. Me?", I pointed to myself, at least I tried to, Angel is still hugging me, she's so warm..

Chantel answered, "sure, he's adorable anyway"

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay", Angel squeezed me tightly and nuzzled her face on my chest, she's so cute. .

"Mr Andrews?", Angel looked up to me. I blushed and looked to the side. "We just came from there, he just went out", Chantel said.

"yaaaaaaay", Angel cheered, "they can join us!!", she nuzzles her face against my chest again.

Everything turned black and white again. . .

"Angel, take Kari to the cafeteria so long, I gotta talk some sense into someone", she glared at Jake. "okay!", she happily said. I got dragged by Angel.

"A-Angel. . W-wait. . ", I stopped walking.

"Is something wrong?", she turned around and looked at me, she tucked her hair behind her ear and looked at me with those blue-ish eyes of hers. "I. . Forgot my. . . phone. .", I turned around, I looked down because I'm shy.

She pulled me back. "Kari?", she giggled and looked up to me. Great. . . She thinks I'm weird. . "Y-yes?", I stuttered again.

"Your phone is in your back pocket", she reached in my back pocket and took out my phone and giggled, "You're silly, come on, let's go to the cafeteria", she said and walked in front of me.

I froze for a whole minute to process what she just said. . I just stood there and looked at her as she walked.

"Are you coming?", she turned around and looked at me, slightly giggling. I blushed deeply as I snapped back to reality.

"R-right, I. . I'm c-coming. . ", I nervously said.
