episode 4

Croft was aware that he was nicknamed as the mad dog of the frontier.

However, Rivier was the only one who ever said it to his face.

She was definitely the one and only human alive that ever said it to his face.

Usually, he would've drawn out his sword by now, but even Croft was wondering why it hadn't crossed his mind.

Is it because of that innocent-looking face?

Croft leaned his back against the sofa and clicked his tongue.

He figured he should still give her a warning even if she was a princess he didn't know well, at least so that she didn't speak without thinking.

Croft changed his attitude and asked in a low voice.

"Princess, don't you know that all the women in this house treasure their life very much, unlike you?"

Rivier replied with a beautiful smile of courtesy.

"Your highness, making such jokes make it seem as though you do not care about others, and it may leave a bad impression. "

"It sounds like a joke to you, huh."

"If it isn't a joke, then it's even worse. We shouldn't allow others to misunderstand that the luwens Empire has a blood-thirsty emperor."

"Misunderstand?"

Croft discarded the comment in laughter and slowly stood up off the sofa.

Then, with his long legs, he stepped on the table that was blocking his path towards Rivier.

Croft's left hand, which came straight over the table, passed Rivier's right ear and touched the back of the sofa.

Rivier drew backwards, avoiding Croft, who was standing in front of her, bent over and drew her face in. Croft's right hand cought Rivier before she could run away. His long and slender fingers lifted rivi's chin.

Croft, who approached a shuddered and upset Rivi, spoke in a low and threatening voice.

"Whether it's true or not, we'll just have to wait and see."

As soon as he finished his sentence, Croft felt a wind blowing from under his chin, before he could even react, Rivier's fist lifted his chin.

And he heard Rivier's voice saying,

"Your highness, you must not touch a woman's body."

It was already too late to avoid her fist, Croft simply turned his head to the side after he was deviated, he remained stiff in a single position and was completely blank.

Rivier, who shook off Croft's hand hard enough to make a crackling sound, rose and left the sofa. Croft remained in that position until then.

"I have greeted you, so i will take my leave now, your highness."

And before Croft could say anything back, she left the room gracefully, but quickly.

It was not until he heard he door closing that Croft came to his senses.

He then realized that he had been struck by the princess of Blanche.

Croft, who became the ruler of the East with his swordsmanship, realized he was lacking in etiquette. So, Rivier's main objective was to whip him into shape.

He could read her movements, but he never expected her fist to grind his chin.

He didn't even feel any pain when she kicked him or when she hit his chin, however, feeling pain wasn't the problem.

He just couldn't believe the whole situation.

After letting her fist touch his face, she simply said," you shouldn't touch a woman's body without their consent."

And then she ran away.

"huh."

'Is that woman out of her mind?'

Croft had a point but was a bit doubtful.

Walking quickly back to her room, with the fear that croft would come after her with his sword, she put her hands over her chest and gathered her breath.

It wasn't just the elegant manners that were familiar with the body. Her boxing skills, which she had originally owned in her past life, remained intact.

She enrolled in a diet course at a local gym to lose weight during her exam life, and learned self-defense from the kind-hearted director.

"Why was his approach so threatening? I thought he was trying to kiss me."

When she impulsively threw her fist, she realized that her opponent was a compulsory mad dog who would become a tyrant in the future, so Rivier was about to run away without looking back.

After barely getting her breath, she put her ear on the door and paid close attention to the outside situation for a bit.

She thought the madman would make a scene, but it was very quiet so she stopped eavesdropping.

She even called her maid, Geroni, to ask her if everything was alright in the mansion, and she simply answered that nothing was wrong.

Geroni clamored in surprise when she saw Rivier's hand, after she sighed in relief.

"Oh, my lady! what happened to your hand?"

When geroni looked closely, she realized that the back of Rivier's hand was swollen.

It was the same hand that hit Croft's chin.

Unable to answer that she punched the crown prince in the face, Rivi hid her hand and avoided answering.

"I just bumped into something. it's nothing."

"young lady....."

Tears welled up into the eyes of this faithful maid.

She thought it must be the doing of that handsome mad dog, who was widely rumoured to be vicious, who hit the young lady's delicate hand.

Geroni was concerned about Rivier becoming Croft's etiquette teacher under the command of the duke, but Rivier's appearance, who spared her words even after being distraught, broke her heart.

Geroni swallowed her tears and brought cold water to Rivier.

She soaked her hand in the cold water, where Rivier had hit his chin.

The one who received the hit looked completely fine, but the hand of the one who had hit him was swollen....

Perhaps because she was a precious princess, she grew up with such a frail body.

'Not to mention, Croft's reaction was unexpected.'

'I thought he was a crazy man, but he took my hit unexpectedly well.'

Rivier, who was determined to not get killed by him and beat him up as his etiquette teacher, was troubled since she did not know if this was a good or bad thing to do.

'Should i hit him a little more......?'

The day Rivier felt troubled, rumours had begun to quietly spread in the duke Blanche household about Croft hitting Rivier.
