You received 2 separate notifications from your phone indicating you had gotten 2 text messages. You didn't bother to open your eyes as you laid in your bed, trying to take a nap. You knew this wasn't Levi because he never sent you more than 2 text messages in a row as he always put everything he had to say in one simple text.

A couple minutes had gone by and you were tossing and turning, still trying to fall asleep.

*Ding*

Another notification from your phone. You count from 1 to 60 seconds in your head and shot your eyes open when no other messages came from your phone. You took your phone from your nightstand and opened it. There were 3 notifications you immediately saw on your lockscreen. The first two were just from your brother telling you he wouldn't be home until the early hours in the morning, at best, since he was out with friends. The last notification was from Levi just like you thought it was.

You were about to hit send when you stopped. "Is that too flirty? No, it's not I say that to Aunt Janis when she and Aunt Raven come over for the holidays and I don't mean it in a flirty way.. Well I hope she doesn't take it that way- What? WHAT THE F*CK Y/N? She's literally so in love with Aunt Raven, and she would never think of you in that gross way, stop it! I just don't want him to know I like him, he probably doesn't like me back anyways.. Okay, just send the text, you'll be fine, don't overthink it you shithead." And you hit send. "F*CKKKK!" you yell in nervousness as you throw your phone at the other side of your bed and hide under your covers.

You once again start to count from 1 to 60 but your "f*ck it, just do it" mindset comes in and you stop counting at 30 and immediately grab your phone.

You scream until you realize that it isn't really a flirty way to respond and he most likely didn't mean that way. You were just happy he wasn't making fun of you for being a little softy and being excited to see him.

30 minutes go buy and you get a call from Levi. Of course, you answered it.

"Hey Y/n, I'm 5 minutes away from your house." he said as soon as you picked up. "Alright, B/n won't be here until some time tomorrow because he's out with friends. Probably at a party." you responded. "I see, I guess I'll be babysitting for the meantime." he said with a slight mocking tone. "Shut up Vi. I'm not that childish or whatever." you rolled your eyes as you made your way downstairs and sat by a window near the front door. "Between the two of us, you're definitely the kid." his comment made you roll your eyes once more. "If you keep rolling your eyes, it will roll back and get stuck that way forever." you looked around outside through the window trying to see if Levi had already arrived, you didn't see him anywhere though. "You're being a creep if you're watching my every move right now and it's also not fair that I'm the childish one because OBVIOUSLY I'm going to end up being the childish one between the both of us when you literally act like.. a mafia boss." you heard Levi chuckle through the phone which made you smile. "Okay, enough bickering. I see your house already, I'll be there really soon." Levi quickly said. "Mkay, see ya".

Only a few minutes go by and you spot Levi walking up to your house with backpack, "Probably clothes for staying over tonight." you thought to yourself. You got up and opened the door before he even made it to the front door. "Hurry, I'm hungry and craving pasta!" you yelled, "It's still 5 pm and you're already hungry?" "Yes, now please HURRY" hey, can't blame a hungry person. Levi decides to speed his pace up but instead of just speed walking he bolted towards you which startled you a bit. Before you could move out the way he opens his arms as he's running and quickly picks you up bridal style. "Levi! Put me down right now!" you say as you try to get out of his grip but he only held you tighter, not tight enough to hurt you though. He closes the door with his foot and locks it with his hand. "Levi?! Are you really not gonna put me down?!" he seemed to be ignoring your comments, and smirking. He then walks to the kitchen and sits you down on the counter. "Did I hurt you while carrying you?" he asks and you shake your head no. "Do you want carbonara?" he asks while opening up a cabinet, looking for ingredients. "Yeah- Wait, what the hell? Are you cooking it?"

"Yeah, you don't mind if I do right?"

"Of course, but I can he-" before you could finish your sentence he interrupts you. "No, no, sit. I'll do it myself. I promise I won't burn the house down." you sit in silence, not in agreement to letting him cook for you but rather in confusion. Levi doesn't cook for you unless you're sick or it's your birthday. "I'm not sick" you blurt out randomly. "That's a good thing" He replies while preparing the ingredients.

"It's not my birthday"

"Idiot, I'm cooking for you because I want to. No other bigger reason."

"Okay" you decide to not playfully argue with him and just let him cook the meal for you.

Afterwards, you guys eat together while sitting on the kitchen counter and talk about recent school drama. Once you were both down eating you take his plate and bring it to the sink, turning the faucet on, and putting dish soap on the sponge. "Dishwasher's broken I'm guessing?" Levi asks. "Yeah, mom says the repairman will be here to fix it next week."

3 hours go by and Levi suggests you both get ready for bed and sleep early so you both can wake up early to watch the sun rise.

"Why the f*ck are you staring at me?" you ask as Levi as you wash your face with your facial wash.

He whispers a response but you couldn't hear it. You take that as a chance to tease him.

"Did you just call me pretty?"

"Yeah, I did.. You always do, no matter what you're doing or wearing.." you thought he was trying to tease you back but you looked at his face and realized he was red and getting flustered.

"Wait, wait, wait- You actually called me pretty?? I couldn't even hear what you said so I just took that as opportunity to tease!"

"Yeah, yeah.. Now don't ever tease me about that."

"No promises" you shrug.

Soon after you both got in got in bed Since you had a queen sized bed, you took the right side and he took the left. Sharing a bed was never something you both made a weird experience like some others would. You were just sharing a bed, nothing more and nothing less. You fell asleep pretty quick and so did Levi.

Next thing you know, Levi was gently shaking you to wake you up. You opened your eyes and groan, immediately taking the covers over your head. You hear Levi chuckle and you slightly smile. "Get up pretty sleeper, we gotta watch the sunrise." It took almost all of you to get out of bed, "For Levi" you told yourself. Once you were out of bed, Levi gave you a jacket, telling you it'll be a little cold. You were quite hesitant knowing it was his but you still put it on. You were immediately hit with Levi's cologne, a soft scent rather, he didn't like strong scented ones.

"Thanks Vi.. Do you have a jacket on?"

"No, don't worry it's fine. I'm Elsa, the cold never bothered me anyway."

You chuckle and grab a jacket in your closet, sniffing it to make sure it smelled good. You grab your own cologne and put some on the jacket, making sure you didn't put too much.

"Here you go.. Also, you are aware that this my house, meaning I have a room, that was my clothes right? I could've just grabbed my own."

"Maybe I already knew that but I just wanted to see you wear mine. You giving me yours was just a bonus." he winked, clearly teasing.

"Whatever, let's just go watch the sunrise you tease.."

You both walk to your window and open it, crawling out and make it to the roof. It was still a little dark out so Levi takes out his phone and turns the flashlight on. He gently takes your hand and leads you to the spot you guys usually sit on when you're hanging out at your house. It was a beautiful spot to sit on, you could see the houses, trees, and the sun. Truly a beautiful view. You both talked about different things until the sun was actually rising and at some point, a comfortable silence fell over the both of you, just admiring the sun and view.

"Y/n?"

"Mhm?" you hum in response

"May I tell you something?"

"Of course you may"

There was a moment of silence before he spoke up once more.

"We've been friends for a long time and over time I've developed these feelings for you. At first, I didn't quite know what sort of feelings they were but after a while, I figured them out. When I did realize what they were, I did my best to get rid of them as I didn't want to ruin what we already have. This friendship means everything to me. You mean everything to me. Now, I know I said that I cooked for you just because I wanted to and that there was no other reason but there was.. I was aware that there was a possible chance you wouldn't feel the same. And if you didn't feel the same, there was also a high chance you would no longer want to hang out wth me, at least not for a while. So, I did everything I loved to do for you and everything I loved doing with you. I even managed to notice really small things you did. Just like the way you knew 2 text notifications meant it wasn't me so you always counted to 60 seconds after 1 notification." he chuckles and you smile. He then continues,

"I love cooking for you, hearing you tell me your opinions on school gossip and so-called "tea", when you let me cook for you but grab my plate without even telling me so you can do the dishes without me insisting on doing them myself, when we tease each other back and forth, or when I catch you flustered and red as a tomato when I tease you, when you're sleeping but still so f*cking gorgeous, when you wear my clothes, and I could go on and on and on about all the things I love to with you and all the things I love about you but we'd be watching tomorrow's sunrise by then." you both laugh, he soon sighs after

"To get to the point, I like you, so much. And not just as friends. I like you so much more than just that. You're my person. You're my.. yellow.. You don't have to like me back but I-"

You cut him off but not with kiss that people usually do in movies, but rather with hug and a sentence.

"You're an idiot if you think I don't like you back." he immediately snakes his arms around your waist.

"You feel the same way?"

"Of course I do, no way I wouldn't.. And you're my yellow too."

"And it was all yellow~" you heard someone singing. It was your brother, who was standing on the front yard. he ended up hearing Levi's confession on the way to the front door while coming home from a night of partying.

"It's finally happening! Two people who secretly considered each other their yellows, a secret to both but not to everyone else who saw the way their eyes lit up when they looked at each other, are finally together. Like the sun finding it's other half to be as big and bright as it is.. Maybe you both are the suns backstory." Your brother shrugs, clearly still drunk.
