Ch: 4

Everyone's faces were so pale, it was as if they had seen a ghost or some sort of monster. After a moment of silence and analyzing, the old lady opened her mouth and shouted, "Everyone calm down and no matter what happens, none of you, will say a word about what you have seen or heard to anyone outside this room, am I clear!"

It was to be to so so pale because of a printer. As it used quite frequently. So frequesntly that it needed to changed. to be better quality and more in quantity. because paper is important, extremely important

After that everyone was discussing something with her in a really low voice and in a place a bit far away from me, their behavior seemed a suspicious to me so I tried to eavesdrop their conversation, without making myself look suspicious but I was only able to hear parts of the conversation, which didn't make any sense to me as a such chunk of it was missing.

A little while later, my stomach started growling. It was a bit embarrassing as everyone's attention had been turned towards me. "Oh, silly me, I didn't consider about the fact that it's about to be lunch time soon and princess might be hungry. Parden me, for my mistake princess and girls help her highness prepare for the lunch." The old lady shouted and soon the whole swarm of bees surrounded me and took me to the bathroom for the bath, to my surprise the bathroom was really fancy.

After that nice refreshing bath, began the struggle for fitting in a frippery styled grown, that had a small touch of modern style of gowns. The gown was beautiful to look at, but extremely uncomfortable. About an hour later, I was finally ready for the lunch but my body was really worn out.

Soon after, all those struggles ended, came the hardest part of all and that was wearing heels. One of the maids, placed a beautiful pair of heels that was matching with the gown I was wearing, as soon as I put those heels on, I realized that those weren't make for someone like me as I struggling to stand straight while wearing them.

"You look stunningly beautiful, princess. Great job, girls." "Now that the princess in ready, I want all of you to be out of this room and don't let anyone inside." The old lady exclaimed and before long it was just the two of us, in that room.

"Princess, it's about lunch time and today you will be having it with Duke Makedon and his daughter Alivia Makedon, Duke Makedon is your father, His Majesty's younger brother." "And you are the solemn princess of this kingdom, Princess Adelaide Charlemagne. Princess, during the meal try to make sure your cousin and uncle doesn't find out that you have lost your memory, not a single soul should know about this until your father is back, as we can't trust anyone in here, my lady."

"Don't worry about me, everything's going to be fine." I replied her with a smile, as I didn't want her to worry about me. "That's great princess and all we can do for is that it all goes well without any problems." "Well then, shall we get going, princess?" the old lady said while placing her hand in front of me and I took it with a smiley and then she escorted me to the dining hall.

The dining hall was placed in the center of the palace and the princess's chamber was on the north-eastern side of it. It was about a 20 minutes' walk and my legs were sored due to wearing heels. About the time we finally reached the hall, everyone was already there.

The old lady left the room soon after she escorted me to my sit, a few mins later, the giant clock in the hall started ringing and along with that came in a huge line of servants, and started placing the food on the table.

The food had a wonderful aroma, and my mouth was filled with water, but just when, I was about to take a bite of it, Alivia created a scene.

"You, ungrateful, wild servant!! How dare you try to poison the Duke's daughter?!" Alivia shouted at the servant, who was placing her food. "Lady Alivia, I don't even dare to think about doing something to you. Please tell, what did I do make you so furious?"

"How dare you question me, after you have tried to poison me with peanuts. Aren't you aware with the fact that I am allergic to them?!" "Please forgive me for my mistake, I didn't know about it as I just joined yesterday." The servants said while begging on his knees.

"You are such an ungrateful wild bastard, that you are still giving me excuses rather than begging me for your life. It's all the late empress's fault, she should have never pitied on ungrateful orphans like you. People like you, only deserver to be on the streets and treated like stray animals."

"That enough, Alivia Makedon!! Behave yourself as you are still in the royal palace and not in your house that you can behave in just a disrespected manner and on which grounds, do you dare to say that the late empress made a mistake!!" I shouted while banging the table.

At first, I didn't want to get involve in that mess, as I was still unknown to many of the things but I wasn't able to stand it anymore as she took it way to far, and just because she was rich and had power didn't mean that she could treat humans in such a manner.

After that, it became completely silent, and the head chief came in and apologized for the servant and Alivia was severed another plate of food without any nuts in it and I was finally able to enjoy the food. The steak was so tender and filled with so many different flavors that it melted in my mouth.

The foods were so good that it felt like I was in heaven and I ate till like heart's content, after finishing like 12 plates of food my stomach started aching and I wanted to rest for a bit, as I was on my way out of the dining hall, I heard someone calling me from the back.
