Alex POV:

Why is it so dark here? "Mom? Dad?" I called out. But there was no reply and my voice echoed. Where am I? It a whole dark area of nothing.. no walls, no building, no life.. Why am I here? "Mooommm!! Mom where are you? I'm scared mom. Please please take me out of here. Please." I got no reply. I ran into the darkness. Suddenly something caught my foot and I stumbled upon the hard swampy floor. What is this greese liquid? B..blo.. blood? My eyes widened as look up to see iron bars. I'm..I'm.. caged.. I hurriedly stood up and went near the bars. I tried to break it open. But it seems that my body has no strength. I kneeled down in the blooded floor.. I'm soo scared. "Moomm please help me.. moommm" I called out as warm tears rool down my eyes.

Author's POV:

Alex shot open his eyes. He was breathing heavily. Sweat drops covered his forehead and his coller bones. He looked at his phone breathing heavily. It was 4 in the morning. He only slept for 2hrs today. He got with a sigh from the floor.

He took his towel and went in the washroom. He strip his tshirt and threw it on laundry basket. He stood in front of the mirror support his body with his own hand on the sink. Alex looked at himself in the mirror. There was still dry tears on his chubby cheeks and his beautiful doe was were slightly peachy. He looked at his toned lean body with mild packs. But there was many scratches on his arms and hands. Alex splashed some cold water on his face. Then he went under the shower. As soon as the warm water touched his cuts, he felt a burning sensation. I felt like his whole Arm burnt. But there was a creepy smile of satisfaction on his face. He loved the burning feeling.

After 10 min of shower he dried himself.  As soon as he was about to exit the washroom, his eyes felt on the blade which was kept at the farthest corner of the rack. It have gave him all this scratches which is a pleasure to him. He stood looking at the shiny sharp blade. Was he going to do that again? Will he again made himself bleed?

Alex heard a sound. He hurriedly wore his school uniform and exited the washroom. It was already 5. He saw that his mother was sitting on the edge of his bed and was looking towards him with a glass of milk. Alex noticed a slight bruises on his mom's hand. A stinging feeling of pain crept in his heart. He looked at his mother eyes and then went to pack his school bag. He messily put his books into his bag. Mrs McAdams stood up and approached Alex, "Son, have this milk. Why you are leaving so early today?" Alex didn't want to answer her. He ignored her and put his books inside close the chain of the bag. Mrs McAdams again said, "Alex I know that you are angry with me. I can understand and it's ok. But honey don't leave the house empty stomach. I cannot even prepare a lunch box for you today, since you are leaving so early." Alex didn't even looked towards his mom. He shove his school bag on his shoulders and walked towards the door. As soon as Alex was about to turn open the door, Mrs McAdams stoped him and said with a slight high tone, "Alex! I'm talking to you." Now Alex faced his mother and said, "Mom yesterday, sorry even every night you lock me up. When I call, scream, bang the door to open do u ever listed to me?"

"Alex you know very well that your dad doesn't like it when you interfere in elders matter"

"Interfere!? Ok so you want me to stay quiet when that devil, whom I call Dad beats you up everyday?"

Alex say this to his mom with a slight high tone. His mother grabbed his arm and drag him outside the house and say, "Alex! What are you saying! He is your dad! And what if he hears you!?" Alex's eyes is niw full of tears. He said harshly shouting, "mom you are scared of that man! Not me! I can't see this everyday! Why don't you leave him!!!??" Saying this, Alex ran of. His mother called him from behind but he didn't listen. He ran away.

"Why don't you understand Alex that I cannot leave this man. He is your dad. And I don't have a job. Where am I supposed to go with you?"
