Chapter 3: Tales of Ubac

Lily and Emma are sitting in the bedroom.

"So, how did he look like?"

"It was quite dark, I couldn't see him clearly. But he had yellow eyes and teeth like vampires."

"Really?"

"Yes! I am not lying!"

"Ok fine. What was he doing?"

"He was dragging a body, into the forest."

"Did you see the body?"

"No, he carried it in a cloth bag."

"So, how do you know, that it was the Sin Annihilator?"

"Well, it was new moon. And he had very big teeth, etc...why are you interrogating me?"

"I am not interrogating you. It's just odd, that he didn't follow you. And he even knew your name! I think you should rest."

Emma, lily are accompanying Luna to the beach, yawning occasionally. As Luna's coaching starts, they sit on a bench.

After some time, a boy approaches them. He has vibrant blue hair. He donned a dark hoodie. He is basically a introvert. It's a miracle, he is friends with Emma, who is a Extrovert.

"Hello" says the boy. Emma and lily seem to recognise him.

"Felix? What are you doing here?" asks Emma, after turning to the boy.

"I came here at my grandpa's for vacation." replies Felix.

"Ok..."says lily, and starts reading her book, not wanting to become a part of the conversation.

"I heard you yelling last night Emma. What happened? Did you see your face in the mirror?" Asks Felix smiling.

"No, stupid!! I fought the Sin Annihilator last night!" Says Emma proudly.

"Really??"asks Felix.

"Yes, he was dragging a body into the forest. But, I was not scared.. he followed me all night, but I didn't gave up. I...." Emma is interrupted by coughing of lily.

"I took a stick in my hand, and attacked him. He was so scared that, he ran away. And it were his shrieks, not mine!" continued Emma.

"Oh, I see... so by any chance, Did he carried the body in a bag? Perhaps this one?" Asks Felix, showing Emma a cloth bag.

"Yes!!! This was the one!! But, how do you have this bag with you? Are you....allied with...him?" Asks Emma shivering.

Felix sees this. He starts laughing aloud.

"You are just so stupid Emma!! It was me last night. I was throwing the trash, and saw you. But you started screaming, as if you saw a ghost!! Says Felix, still laughing.

"So, that was you!!! But why didn't you tell me, that, it was you?" Replies Emma.

"Well, I Did tell you. I even called your name, and told you to wait. But, that scared you even more. What could I have possibly done, except for standing there and laughing." Continues Felix.

"But, why were you throwing the trash at midnight ?" Asks Emma..

"I forgot to do it at noon. So, before my grandpa could know, I threw it at night." Says Felix. Emma sighs.

"I was scared for this?" says Emma relieved.

"Yup, you coward." Saying this, Felix leaves, sensing the arising anger.

Some people are staring at Felix, from a long distance. But Before Felix could see them, they run away. But, Emma notices them.

"Why are they spying on Felix?" Whispers Emma.

It's night. Lily, Emma and Luna are in lily's bedroom. They are telling each other, about their day.

"I and Lily met Felix today. He is in Berbia too." Says Emma.

"Oh! Felix? You're friend right?" asks Luna.

"yup!" replies Emma. Luna notices something in the forest from her window. When she takes a closer look, she sees, that Felix is entering the forest.

"Hey! Is that Felix?" Asks Luna.

"Yes, that's him. But what is he doing in the forest?" says lily.

"Should we follow him?" Asks Emma.

"No, we won't follow him. He must be taking out the trash!" denies lily.

"But, he doesn't have anything in his hands. I think we should follow him." Says Luna.

"And I am sure, that he is hiding something!" says Emma.

"Ok, fine. But, just till 8:30 not more than that!!" Agrees lily.

They give an excuse to granny, and leave to follow Felix. But, they are not the only ones, who are following him.

As the trio follow Felix, the forest gets thicker and darker.

"He is not stopping anywhere. I think, we should go back, or we will be lost in the woods forever!" Says Lily.

"Yup, can't agree more!" Replies Luna.

"But I am sure, that he isn't just roaming in the forest. He surely has a plan, and we should follow him, to find out more." Says Emma.

"But Emma, why should we be interested in his plans?" Asks lily.

"I saw someone follow Felix, so I guess that Felix is in big trouble. So just keep following. Because, if we lost Felix, we will not be able to return. And I have forgotten the way back home" answered Emma.

"You have what!!!!" Shouts Luna.

"Shush!!don't shout! And we are not lost, until we follow Felix, cause he knows the way back home." Says Emma.

Emma, lily and Luna are hiding behind a log. Felix is standing right in front of them, but is unable to see the trio. He is staring at a huge rock, while checking, if anyone is seeing him do so.

"Why, is he standing in front of the rock?" asks Emma.

"I think he is just crazy." Answers lily, getting annoyed by the mosquitoes. The trio is still unaware of the surprises they are going to get.

Felix touches his ring, and says aloud

"Emerald, bring out your soft nature to end this evil."

There is blast of light. His costume changes into green and black with shimmering stones embedded on it's ankle and neckline. He is wearing a mask of black and green colour, with a leafy pattern same as the costume. His ring is sparkling more than usual. Felix is in a new appearance.

Luna, lily and Emma are in awestruck as Felix lifts the huge rock in his one hand, and throws it aside. A map was hidden below the rock. Felix picks it up, and hides it in his ring. His ring is able to store huge stuff.

"Lily, Luna pinch me ASAP." says Emma. Luna and Lily pinch her from both the sides as hard as possible. Emma controls her shrieks.

"So, I am not dreaming." Continues Emma.

"Off course you are not dreaming." Says Lily. Luna is about to say something, but is interrupted by a flash of light.

Two people with the same weird costumes as Felix appear out of nowhere. The boy is wearing a Mountain pine coloured costume, while the girl is wearing midnight blue coloured dress. The boy is as fast as thunder.

"Enough of your games Felix! Hand over the map!!" Screams The boy.

"We don't want the map Raiden!! We want the Stones!! Felix, take us to the stones and we will give you mercy!" says Viper.

"Don't you two ever get tired of being defeated by me regularly?" asks Felix.

"Oh, let me assure you, you are the one who will lose this time! Are you gonna take us to the stones or not?" Asks Viper.

"How about.....no!!" Answers Felix by throwing the huge rock at Raiden. But Raiden uses his speed and dodges the rock. Raiden uses thunder slash on Felix. But he dodges it, and the thunder slash hits the log, in front of the trio and breaks it down. Leaving them exposed to everyone present.

"I think..we are in trouble now" whispers Luna. Lily and Emma nod in agreement.

"You selected some teenage earthlings to save you from us?" Questions Viper to Felix.

"They have not come to save me!!" Replies Felix.

As he held his hands in front, green flames escape his hands, and they race towards Raiden and Viper. They attack on Felix in return. Felix creates a shield in front of him, to stop the attacks for a while.

"What are you three doing here?" asks Felix to the trio.

"It was Emma's Idea to follow you! I even disagreed with her! Then we ended up lost, so we decided to follow you, hoping, that you would know the way. And then we watched everything, including your transformation and the fight!" says Lily as Fast as she could.

"Ok....But now.. you should leave!" Replies Felix, still trying to hold up the attacks.

"But, we don't know the way back home. So either you take us back home, or we can all sit and watch your magical show!" exclaims Emma.

"No! Instead I will take you to a safer place. Cause I am in trouble, and so are you now!" says Felix.

Viper and Raiden Finally break the shield.

Raiden uses thunder on the nearby trees, and sets them on fire. The trio and Felix find it very difficult to escape from the forest, but they still try to find a way through it. Raiden and Viper follow them. Felix, creates a protective shield around Emma, Lily and Luna, as Raiden was constantly attacking them. Viper breaks down the shield again.

"Enough is enough!!!" Says Luna furiously.

"Uh oh...I know this 'enough'." Whispers Emma.

Luna picks up a big stone, and throws it straight on Viper's face. Raiden gives out a small laugh, but is again serious after seeing Viper's enraged face.

"Wow Luna, good shot!!!" says Lily.

Viper Shoved her hands forward. Purple flames are about to hit Luna, but Emma pushes Luna out of the way.

Raiden and Viper aim at Felix. Felix, in his protection, also aims at His opponents. As they all shoot at the same time, their powers collide, creating a huge blast.

After the blast, Felix and the trio are lying unconsciously on the ground. Suddenly, Emma wakes up, and sees the others lying down. Slowly, the others too wake up.

"Where are they? And why did they leave us here? I mean they could have killed us now." Asks lily.

"Because they need me, to find the stones. Their head Violet might have called them." Answers Felix.

"Who are you exactly? Why are they behind you? What stones are you talking about? And who is Violet?" Asks Luna, who is confused.

"Have you not understood it till now!! He is the Sin Annihilator. He even dragged us into the forest. Not literally, but, we came in the forest because of him, right? And that is why he won't socialize with people." Answers Emma.

Felix frowns. "What??? What is a Sin Annihilator??" Exclaimed Felix.

"That is exactly what a Sin Annihilator would say!!!" Says Emma.

"Seriously Emma? There is no such thing as Sin Annihilator." Replies Lily.

"Ok, then explain me the whole scene we just saw." Says Emma.

"Why would I explain! Felix will explain." Answers Lily.

Felix sighs.

"fine, come with me. I have to show you something. You can't tell anyone about this, it's a secret." Says Felix.

"What? Sorry, I can't keep secrets." Replies lily.

"This is something you have to keep a secret, at any cause, or, I'll have to erase your memory." Says Felix.

"Ok...we will manage, if you clear our doubts." Replies Emma.

"I will tell you a story, until we reach there." Says Felix.

"I live in a totally different place called Ubac. We Ubacions are living here since 1000 of years. We created the Ubac Island. We are the people, who believe in magic and not science."

Felix is interrupted by Emma. "So, is that why, you fail in science each year?" Asks Emma laughing.

"No, that has a different reason.....so, continuing, We live in Ubac, and keep our identity a secret. The entrance to our land is invisible. We cultivated magical spices, which are used to make potion. We create sceptre for continuity of magic. Let's come to the main part, from where, this fight was actually started. King Runald and queen Abernathy ruled our kingdom peacefully. It was time to pick their next heir, when their daughters turned 24. A competition was held, to decide, who was more capable of handling the empire. Princess Alina proved to be the next queen. Violet, who was defeated, was not at all Happy by the outcome. When King Runald, and Queen Abernathy died in an accident, Princess Alina was announced the queen of Ubac and was given the sceptre of 7 magical stones, which symbolises the colours of rainbow in your world, and 7 magical pillars in our world, which appeared after the formation of Ubac. Violet thought, that Alina will make her the next heir to the crown. But Alina refused to make violet the next heir, as she found out about her real intentions of ruling over the world. Violet stole the most powerful stone from the sceptre, and left the kingdom. After some years, Violet returned with her huge army, to take revenge, and to fulfil her dream of ruling the world. She was so powerful, that even queen Alina couldn't defeat her. She used the psychic powers of the stone, to create her army. Queen Alina knew, that the kingdom would fall. She called her faithful servant Phineas Black and gave him an order. An order to take the sceptre and run away from the land. He followed the orders and left. Violet's soldiers attacked him, he tried to escape, and was successful. But, he lost two more stones, which gave the powers of thunder, and illusion. Phineas Black hide the remaining 4 stones in a cave in this forest. He took the earth stone, so that he can protect the other stones from violet. He used the Earth stone, to cast a powerful spell on the other stones. Due to that spell, only his decedents can open the door to the cave. There is an exception, if the stones itself choose someone, he or she will be able to open the door and use the stones too. But, this can only be done on a specific time, which is today. If we don't find the stones today, they will be lost forever. That is why, my enemies need me, because I am the one, who can remove the stones. Phineas is my great great great grandfather. They say, the stone shines when it is in the presence of the person, who is choosed by the magical stone." Continued Felix.

"Whoah!!!! great story. But Felix, why do you want the stones? If you just let them disappear, violet will leave you." asked lily.

"No, I can't let the stones disappear. I will use their power, to bring the other 3 stones back. And then I will keep them in a safe place." Answered Felix.

"So, you are more like the guardian of the stones. But what happened to your land? Who rules there now?" Asked Emma. Felix sighed.

"Violet is ruling the land now. Raiden and Viper are her most loyal servants. The people of our land, are not in a good state. So, I have to defeat her, and free the people." replies Felix

"Seems like a tough job. And what after you defeat her? Who will be the next queen or king?" Asks Luna.

"I..don't know..I even don't know if I will be able to defeat her..." says Felix confused.

Emma, lily, and Luna keep quite, thinking about the people of Ubac.
