My name is netsu koniba, i started a gaming company on my own, so i know how these isekais work, i started from a dish washer, novel writer, and I'm the boss of a company with the help of other people who were with me in making the company a reality, i also know kung-fu, boxing, and taekwondo.

i saw a city from a distance so i ran towards it, and saw a line for the entrance probably inspection when it was my turn the guards suddenly behaved and said "w-welcome sir! Sorry that you had to wait in line!" well it seems that he thinks I'm a noble so i said "try not to make the same mistake again" then he said "yes!" then i entered the city around me seems medieval, but ut also had magic. I went to an adventurer's guild to become an adventurer, but sadly i wasn't qualified due to my inexperience with mystical monsters like slimes and stuff. And i also went to the magic academy to learn money but... Didn't have any talent with magic whatsoever, so i just randomly wandered the town and earned money with just helping out, but it wasn't nearly enough for me to have a bed to sleep in. But at least it was enough for me to buy a decent meal, so i entered an inn called the whistling grains.

I ordered a piece of bread, and a chicken leg and water, even the water here costs something. I ate the bread and it wasn't bad, i ate the chicken leg and it tasted too plain, i barfed it off and accidentally said "what the **** is this? Did you even put anything in this!" ahh, I'm too used to fancy food, i just sat back down and continued eating while crying, everyone was looking at me though, one stood up and walked towards me, he looks like a soldier of the city, then he smashed his hand at my table to get my attention then said "shut your mouth bro!!! You don't wanna mess with the old lady who cooks here, she doesn't even know how to cook good bread!!!" and he started to well up, even people around here look like their holding back their tears, well i guess i have no choice.

After forcing myself to eat and almost puking 5 times i left the inn and accidentally wandered into the slums part of the city, every building looks like they weren't even repaired one bit, then a guy with a mask appeared behind me and another guy with a mask appeared in front of me. They held knives and said "hand over all your valuables!" and I replied with "no... (probably because i don't have any)" then the bandit behind me said "were serious man! We will kill you if you don't hand over anything!" then i said "i won't" then he got angry and tried stabbing me from behind, i knelt on all fours and did a backward rising kick, it hit his head and twisted it killing him accidentally.

My heart was racing, i killed someone, but this is a world where you kill or be killed. So that got off my mind and relaxed my heart, then the remaining bandit cried for help "everyone i need help!!!" then around 10 more bandits appeared, a couple of bandits won't be much trouble, but 11 of them will get me killed. I kicked the bandit in front of me in the balls, and he dropped his knife, i caught the knife and stabbed him in the eye which made him scream in pain. Then i continued stabbing him in the same spot and made him scream even louder, this is a tactic, it calls for help and scares the people watching. Which i hope will work, then he stopped screaming then i was immediately surrounded by them, i threw i knife at a bandit but it was deflected easily, now I'm trapped, when 3 arrows came flying, a couple of them missed but one hit in the head. Then two men charged one was wielding a greatsword and the other a shield and spear that's 3 meters long, he threw it and it hit two people who were right next to each other, then the bandits charged in their direction completely ignored me.

Then two bandits did an overhead and underhead slash at the greatsword user but was countered by an arrow shoved up one of the bandit's head doing an overhead slash, the one doing underhead slash was pushed away with a shield, then the greatsword user chopped off his head while they were down. The remaining bandit's fled but one bandit had an arrow shot in his leg. And when i look at the faces of the ones who helped me, it was the guards i saw in the inn, but somehow they didn't move like soldiers, but more organised. Then the greatsword user interrogated the bandit about their den. Then i asked the spear user about what they were doing and replied "we're the royal lion's mercenary Corp. You might not know us because we just appeared, but you do now." well that made sense about their moves, then i asked "what's your mission here?" then another reply "we are here to exterminate bandits and find their hideout."

I asked them a final question "can i join?" i don't have much options on earning money, if i become a soldier i will just earn some silver. Then he said "sure, were a new mercenary corp so we have very few people with us, in fact everyone is on this mission, just the 5 of us, welcome to the corp!" and we shook hands and he said "my name is luke, that fool over there is neele, the elf over there is vanessa and her two trainees" well that explains the poor aim, i looted the bodies and i got a silver and 20 bronze coins in them, and of course i took 4 knives for defense, a couple in my shoes, couple in my hands, this will be an exciting adventure.
