4. My engagement

Two days went like they are nothing for my family but for me time went so slow . I was against this marriage but my family then started their emotional drama which became so unbearable for me in just three hours that I gave up and agreed to get married to a girl I didn't even know. My family was busy in shopping with my so called future family and me just in a corner regretting why I did that thing.

...DAY OF MY MARRIAGE...

Here I was , waiting for my bride in the aisle where the priest was holding The Bible . Soon the wait ended as she came in a white gown holding hand of her father who was wearing a tuxedo . At just one look of her butterflies were flying in my stomach for some reason . All the chaos in my mind and heart settled down as I looked at her .

She came and stand in front of me . Not for even a second my eyes had left her beautiful face which was I'm seeing from so close .

In middle of everything a memory came in my mind , it was decided that we will only get engaged but because of some stupid talks between our parents it was changed to a marriage . But whatever it's not like I can back down now ,I'm already very far from that point .

Soon the priest started reading verses from the holy bible , which was further followed by Homily . After that he asked for my consent .

" I do " I said with a smile.

Then from my bride .

" I do " Rose said with a smile also .

There was some hidden feeling that I was feeling at this moment but I thought that I'm just excited that's why I'm feeling this way .

" Now you both may kiss " Priest said to us .

Taking a deep breath I moved my lips towards her , it was only a peck on her lips but it was enough to send a thunderbolt down my spine as my lips touched those smooth lips of her .

After that everyone was bursted into laughter of joy for the moment . We both were now standing side by side seeing the happiness on their faces , I looked at Rose face which had a beautiful smile and unknowingly there was a smile on my face also .

My engagement was done and now we were meeting with the guest who were enjoying the meal . Surely Rose's father had spent a lot on her marriage .

Rose took my hand and take me to meet her friends.

" She is Emily , Anne and Michael . They are my best friend . And you three already know his name Rock , my hubby " Rose introduced me with them .

" It's nice to meet you all , I hope a great friendship ahead " I told them .

" It's nice to meet you too " they all said same thing .

Next I met with her relatives .

Then two man came in our direction .

" Congratulations on your wedding sis " one man spoke up .

" And you must be Rock it great meeting you here " he said to me .

" Brother you are late " Rose said as she pouted .

" But I make it , you know I'm kinda busy because father left all the work on me " he defended himself .

" Congratulations on your wedding , Rose " the other man also spoke up .

" Thank you ,. Edward " Rose said looking at him just for a second .

" Rock meet my friend Edward , he is like my brother " Rose brother introduced us .

" It's nice to meet you " I said to him .

" I'm going back , Louis . It's just a waste of time for me here " Edward said to Rose brother and left .

" Always so rude , that's why grand ma rejected him " Rose said .

" Sorry for him , he is just upset that he got rejected before " Louis told me .

" It's okay " I said .

" I should let the couple enjoy their time , Bye sis and bye rock . Hope to meet you again soon " Louis said this and left.

" Let's go ,it's time to meet my friend " I said to Rose.

It's was a good start as we both can at least talk with eachother . Now it's all on destiny what will happen .

" There they are " I said as I pointed towards my friend .

" Hi Harry and Vincent " I said .

" Hi rock , congratulations man " Harry said .

" I still can't believe you get married before me man but anyway congrats bro " Vincent said and hugged me.

Harry and Vincent both are my friends from my childhood , they always helped me and most of all they are like brothers for me.

" Rose they are my childhood friends Harry and Vincent " I introduced them .

" It's nice to meet you " Rose said to them .

" Congrats rose , well you are now like our sister so don't think twice before asking for our help, right Harry ?" Vincent said .

" Of course and if this little asshole ever tease you just tell us we will take care of him " Harry said .

They all laughed together .

" Yeah very funny , ha ha ha " I said sarcastically.

" Where is Adrian ?" Harry asked .

" I thought he was with you " I said .

" Yeah he was but then a phone call came and he went to pick someone " Vincent said .

" Hey Rock " Harry said .

" Yeah " I said .

" Just what happens , remember this is a day of happiness don't ruin it okay " Harry said .

" Why would I do this ?" I asked .

" Well you get angry very fast and always jump in a fight very swiftly " Vincent chimed in.

" Yeah but only when someone gets on my nerves" I said .

" Let's go somewhere else , what you all say ?" Harry asked us.

" Why what happened ?" I asked and looked in the direction where Harry was looking at .

There was he Adrian with a girl . And that girl was none other than Juliana .......
