Chapter 4 - Past, Present & Future

[yawns] Ugh, I slept horribly and what is making that horrifying noise? [sits up straight]

Weird. The noise isn't coming from my alarm clock since I don't own one

any more. It got burned down with the rest of the flat. So what the

bloody hell is making that screeching noise? Mira? Can't be her. She

moved far away now. So what can it be? [gets up] Mm, where is my baseball bat? [looks around in the dark] Ah, found it. [grabs baseball bat] Now, time to find out what is making that noise. [walks towards the kitchen slowly] How come my kitchen light is on? I swear I turned it off. Mm. [peaks around the corner] What the hell is that thing? It's gigantic, red-haired, big breasted and has a tail! [unknown creature looks in Tamo's direction] I wonder if it sees me. " I hear you, Master." The creature's chirp is soft but powerful. [closes eyes] Why is this thing in my house? When will the mad- "Master is very rude by not saying hello back to his faithful servant." Why do I have a servant? Since when do I have a servant? "I will remain at your side until you dismiss me. I will serve and protect you at all costs starting today." My confusion is worse now. Despite not saying a word, she knew what I was thinking even without my saying anything. [giggles] "Yes,

Master. I will introduce myself. I am YuiKatō. I am an angel who has

psychic abilities. The council appointed me as your servant." The council appointed an angel with psychic abilities. "Who are these council people and why did they give me a servant?"

"Well, Master. It's

more for your protection. See you have a lot of value to the council and

they want to protect you at all costs." This still doesn't make any

sense. Why would a council that exists out of angels. Protect a monster

like me? I mean. I still don't know what I am but from the glimpse I

got. I saw a monster. "You are not a monster Master, in good time you will know all, and all of your questions will be answered." Yui probably knows a bit more than I do. "Do you think you could explain to me what I am then?" [she chuckles] "Master, it's not my place to speak." [pets Tamo's head] She petted me like a dog, didn't she? "Yes, Master, but you are not a dog. Your pretty little face is so adorable when it looks confused." [sighs] "I see. Well then. What are you doing in my kitchen at 4 in the morning?" [yawns] "I was just making sure that we have the right ingredients for breakfast Master." [sighs] "Okay,

you could have done that an hour before I wake up. I'm off to bed for

now. Make yourself comfortable and don't cause trouble."  [heads off to bed] Mmm, I'm floating again. So I wonder if Baku is here. Can't see anything besides stars and - "Boo!" [screams like a girl] "Haha, gotcha boy!" [turns around] "Haha, real funny Baku, real funny." [Baku laughs] "Sorry kid. Couldn't resist." Mm. Bloody idiot. "I can read your thoughts you know." What the hell is his problem? Does he have telepathy too? "You're in my world idiot. So I know what you're thinking." Interesting. "I see. Then why did I come back here again? Do you have another vision for me?" [Baku laughs] "You

caught up on quick hey boy? well, I have a warning for you yet again.

This time it's a bit more dangerous than the last time." Perfect. Just what I needed. "Cause what's the problem this time?" A smile fades from Baku's face as he approaches me. "Don't

let the council too close to you boy. Promises won't be kept, and your

emotions will be chained like a sea monster trying to escape the humans.

So be careful who you need and deal with. We all want you to get all of

your memories back and want you back on you-" [woke up with a wet face]

"Morning Master." Yui. "Hope

you slept well, Master. Breakfast is ready. We're leaving in 2 hours

for your new school, so eat up and do what you need to. Take a shower

and then we'll be leaving." The incident caused me to move to a new school. That's great. Now I'll have to meet new people. I wonder how Valiant is doing. "He's doing alright, Master. Just checked up on him early this morning."[smiles] "Now eat before your breakfast gets cold." [stands up] "Yes ma'am." [looks at breakfast] The smell of omelettes with bacon strips and melted cheese fillings, with fresh coffee. "Damn, Yui, I didn't know you could make such an awesome breakfast. I'm impressed."[Yui smiles] "Thank you. This is another requirement for being a servant." [continues to eat breakfast] "It's bloody brilliant, Yui. I've never eaten anything so good, aside from my mum's cooking of course." I have to do a few sets before hitting the shower so I'll have to finish up quickly here. "Yui, my new school. Does it have a dress code or not?" If they do I am screwed because I won't have the clothes then. "No Master, luckily not. All that's needed for this school Master, is a servant." [chokes on food] What?! "What

do you mean a 'servant'. I've never heard that a school requirement is a

servant? Yui, what type of school are we going to?" This is getting

weird. "No need to feel weird Master. You can't be in an ordinary

school any more so the council enrolled you on a special school.

F.E.D-cron." [sips coffee] "Uh, what cron?" [Yui laughs] "F.E.D-cron.

The acronym for 'Federal Entities Distinction Cron' a school for beings

like you and me, angels, fallen angels and then some beings of the

underworld." Since when is my life this crazy? [stands in the shower] "Well Master since you discovered your powers." [turns off water] "Yui why are you in my bathroom?"[Tamo grabs a towel and puts it around his body]

"Don't worry Master I have seen many men, as I am a servant to all. I must say that you have the biggest." [Tamo interrupts Yui with a cough] "I should get ready for school."[Yui keeps sitting in the bathroom] "That means you should leave Yui." [Tamo points his finger at the door] "Yes Master of course ." After a few minutes, I got dressed and Yui and I left for whatever the stupid school's name is. "Here we are, Master." [climbs out of the car] "Oh wow so this is the brilliant school. It's barely bigger than my flat?" [laughs] "No Master, it's not about what's on the outside but what's on the inside." [rolls eyes] "Ugh you sound like my mum trying to explain what girls to go for." [sighs] "Remember Tamo it's what's on the inside that matters." [imitating his mum] "I'm sure your mother was wise Master, but for now, we have to get to the hall for your initiation." [eats protein bar] "What initiation?" [silence] "Yui what initiation?!" From the outside, it looked like a small building, but once inside it

looked like Hogwarts. I have always loved Harry Potter. My mum had a

crush on Snape and we watched the show every year, so I didn't mind it.

It looked like there were many people there with servants, but knowing

what I'm capable of makes me wary of them, or maybe they should be

scared of me. [Yui laughs] "Master, I love your thoughts, and

yes, these people should be scared of you. After all, you're a powerful

entity of class seven; they're all class one. You're almost as good as

some of the teachers here."[cuts her sentence short] "I shouldn't have said that." Interesting. "So you told me, you admitted that I'm a demon! So why the hell am I here Yui?" [pulls Yui to the side] "Because

Master you have great power and without you knowing how to deal with

them all of us are in danger, and like I said you're useful to the

council." Council my *** they just want to lock me up in this place so that I can't use what's rightfully mine. [Yui pulls Tamo into the hall] "Shh Master it's about to start." Perfect. "Oh what, your silly initiation?" [a voice from afar] "Well if you think it's so silly why don't you go first?" Who the hell just said that? [looks into the direction of the voice] "Please how hard can it be?"

I am dealing with some

very difficult circumstances right now. During initiation, you are

supposed to fight for your place in the academy using your powers, but I

have been unable to find them for some reason. Oh, and the voice that

challenged me was Asmodeus the demon of wrath; honestly, can things get

any worse? Yui told me that I was a class seventh classed entity but the

class one entities are kicking my ***. "Come on stupid powers work!" Just as I said those words I saw a familiar light from my fingertips. [Tamo laughs] "Oh now it's over for you idiots." Everyone stares at me. "ENOUGH!!! That's it for today! Thanks, Asmodeus but that'll do. You follow me immediately." Huh? I was just about to kick this guy's ***. "Yui, who's that?" Yui looks worried. "Lilith. She is the headmistress of this school. She doesn't like to wait." Lilith? That name sounds familiar. Does she have a pet snake? "Master, hurry up. She is already furious." She looks scared and impatient. [follows Yui to the headmistress's office] Interesting door frame for a headmistress. Are these pythons sculptures and orange glowing thingies? "Those are mana sculptures, Master. There are a few of these on the school grounds." [shivers ] "Enter." [enters headmaster's office] "Sit down, both of you." [sits] I wonder what we did to get ourselves in this position. "YuiKatō, please can you please tell me why this 'thing' is here?" Thing? Excuse the fu - "Miss Lilith. It was by the order of the Angel council that he should be enrolled into F.E.D - cron." [Lilith looks at Tamo] "The council would let such thing into the school? He's a danger to everyone in this area or even more. It's outrageous" Is she trying to stare into my soul? "That's why he is here Miss Lilith. Is for him to learn how to control his power to prevent from disaster happening." [Lilith scoffs] "Ridiculous. What's your name, thing?" Seriously? Bitch do you wanna fight me? [looks at reader] sorry, a bit immature me. Anyway, back to where we were. "I am Tamojikato Black, 18 and -" [Lilith cuts him short] "And you are 6 foot 3. Tell me, Mr Black. Do you know who you are? What you are capable of doing?" [looks confused] "No?" [Lilith approaches Tamo] "Do you even know your past?" [looks even more confused] "No?

Clearly not. Mind telling me? So that I maybe do know and that you

won't breathe down my neck with a python type of breath?" [Yui looks shocked at Tamo] "No one has ever spoken to me like that." [Tamo scoffs] "Yeah well maybe because your breath smells like a python and that your breasts are so big that they are distracted?" [looks at reader] It's a Ted 2 reference. [winks] This couldn't get any worse.

"Why you little smug. Thinking it's wise to talk to me like that." The room starts to shake and Lilith's eyes slowly turn yellow. "Okay I am sorry Ms Lilith. A thousand apologies." That ought to work. [Yui leans over to me and whispers] "You got lucky Master. That is for sure. Are you always this cocky with people when you don't get what you want?" Her voice cracked for a little bit. She must be terrified by snake lady over here. "Not

usually no. But since I know that I am stronger than her. She knows it

too so that's why she calmed down. It's a mind trick. The fight for

dominance or that's what my gut is telling me because if I am wrong. I

know I am dead." [chuckles in fear] "Sorry Mr Black. Had a

rough day. I had to stop the fight between you and Asmodeus because I

had something important to discuss with you." Didn't she just call me a thing a few moments ago? Maybe that's an indication of short term memory loss. "I see. So what's the important case, Miss Lilith?" [Lilith sits down on her chair] "Please

call me Lilith as that your power is far greater than mine. Not now of

course but I know what you can achieve. The message I have for you Mr

Black is that from Monday to Friday evenings you'll have special classes

with my husband, Samael." [Tamo raises his eyebrow] Samael as in the fallen Archangel? Are there any good people in this place? "I see. Thank you, Lilith. So I have a few questions for you if you don't mind me asking." [Lilith sits more forward] "You may ask." Is that hesitation I heard? "So the first question is, will I have my own room?" I better have. I can't deal with annoying people. "Since you are a level seven entity. Yes." Perfect. "The other question is. What's your intention with me, Lilith?" Got to keep her on her toes. I want to know why all of this is

happening. I'm more cocky than usual and a bit more narcissistic. "The

intention I have for you Mr Black is for you to know what your purpose

is and for you to be able to control your powers responsibly." As if I'd go on a rampage. [rolls eyes] "I see. Thank you, Lilith." Hope that's all. "Yui will you please escort Mr Black to your rooms." Hold up. 'your rooms?'. "What do you mean 'your' rooms Lilith?" [Lilith laughs] "Your

servant has to sleep in the same room as you. For security reasons and

to make sure you are protected and safe. Especially you, Mr Black." Well isn't this just lovely? Sleeping in the same room as a 'girl'. Come to think of it. It won't be the first time though. "Thank you, Lilith. See you soon. C'monYui. lead the way."

As we walk to our room. I get this burning feeling within my chest. The hell can it be? "Listen boy, we need to talk. Head off to the loo on your right." This is getting weird. "Yui, I quickly need to run to the loo. I'll see you in a few minutes." Hopefully she doesn't suspect something. "Okay Master, but don't be too long." [heads off to the loo] "So what the hell are you and why can I hear your voice?" [figure appears] "I am Hachiman, god of archery and war. I am assigned as your right hand war companion." I know this one. Hachiman was considered to be a divine spirit of the

Emperor Ojin, he was placed as both the ancestor and Kōso-shin of the

Imperial Family of Japan. But I wonder who assigned him. "I see and why exactly are you assigned to me?" [Hachiman laughs] "Well

you see Sir, in F.E.D - cron you will have endless battles and battles

everywhere you go, especially on mission, etc. So Lilith, the snake lady

as you know her. assigned me to you." Interesting. "Now why is my chest burning?" Feels like I haven't eaten in a while. "Sorry

Sir, that was the introduction to your companion. It won't happen

again, but we will be able to speak with each other telepathically since

I'll be inside you." [brushes hand in hair] "Okay I see. But what about Yui, she can read minds. Won't she be able to read our conversations then?" Because if she can. That might be a problem in the future. "No

she can't. Since she's only an angel and I am a god. There is a barrier

which is stronger. So even if she tries to, she won't succeed." Okay that is good to know. "Okay but we have been in here too long. Let's go." Hachiman basically teleported back into me and we were heading to the room. [enters dorm] "Master, do you have a bad stomach? You have been in the toilet for over 20 minutes." Shit, it was that long? "Yes, for some reason my stomach is very upset. But I'm fine now." She looks more concerned as usual. "Okay Master, if you say so. we need to go to bed. We have a long day tomorrow." She's right. [climbs into bed] "Goodnight Master." [sighs] "Goodnight Yui." F.E.D - cron, whatever challenges you bring forth. I'll crush it.
