Chapter 4

It didn't take long before it was evening. After waking up from her little nap, she started preparing for party.

After several hesitations, she ended up going for a red, long, straight, sleeveless gown which perfectly outlined her curvy but yet slim body and made her look like a Spanish guitar.

She just did a light but yet beautiful make-up and boucled her hair which made her waves more pronounced. She ended up matching her silver earrings with a silver bracelet. Well a medium dark pair of heels will be more suitable since it maintained the sexy nature of her outfit, and won't hinder her from dancing all night long.

"Perfect " she exclaimed, seeing her refection in her mirror.

Surprised Lindsay who was usually faster than her hadn't yet come she decided to go call her. What was more surprising was that she saw her still in bed unprepared.

"Lindsay, how come you aren't ready yet? She asked frowning. It just took her an instant to realize her friend was running a fever.

"Gosh, you're burning, she said while her hand was on her friends forehead." We can't go out with you in this condition". She said trying to take off her heels.

"What are you doing? "Lindsay asked a mild frown settling on her face. "Do you think I spent a fortune in these tickets to dumb them in the bin? I'm running a fever not you. Moreover I've already paid so no excuses, you're going out tonight "

"I can't leave you alone in this state" Dove answered.

" Dove I ain't a kid any more. I know how to take care of myself. Don't be scared I won't die overnight " she said with a cynical laugh. " If it can console you my mom just sent a maid to come take care of me. Go enjoy yourself ".

I almost atimes forgot Lindsay was from a wealthy family, she greatly supported me during my hardships though she kept a low profile.

"Daphne's going there too. I just called her and she agreed to go with you. " Daphne was a former classmate though we weren't very close. She lived a stone throw away from us.

"Well fine I'll go, but only after your maid comes. " I had barely finished my sentence when we heard the bell ring.

Lindsay smiled and said "I guess You should be going, she's already there. "

I hugged her before letting the maid in and leaving.

It took me just a few minutes to get to Daphne's home. She was already in a car her guy and they called me in.

After a few minutes ride, we finally got to the venue. It was way better than in my imagination.. It was a luxurious manor, well decorated for the event with quite some paparazzis around the red carpet. All so wow...

We all stepped out and headed towards the entrance.
