Monday morning and I was already dreading the day. right now we were currently having Mrs Emily lecture on the history of solid oak and I was getting bored. my name Is Katie baker, if you don't know, I'm 18 years old and in my final year of graduating from solid oak, the boarding school I was currently inhibiting, I just can't wait to leave this torture chamber and go off to the college of my desired choice.

happy final year Katie ", I turned and around and saw my best friend Jane whisper to me, I was about to respond to her but Mrs Emily cleared her throat and glared at us so I quickly turned back and smile sheepishly at her.

one hour later the lecture was finally over so I turned around to look at Jane. "aren't you glad that were one more step out of this place", I say to her and she beamed happily. soon out language teacher walked in and I ended the our conversation to focus on the teacher. my friends know that language is my best subject and I hope to study linguistics in college. After the language class , we had one lecture and then the bell rang and we all headed to the cafeteria. I stood up and adjusted my uniform and then me and Jane walked hand in hand to the cafeteria.

I met my other friends at the table and smiled at them. if you're all wandering why they weren't in my class. its because we are divided into classes because of our population.

class A - the emerald class

Class B- the Ruby class

class C- the beryl class.

I and Katie were in the emerald class, Mabel and Sasha were in the beryl class while Allison was in the Ruby class. "hey girls", Sasha says to us and we all respond. "aren't you all exited that we're graduating this year, Allison said to us and we all nodded eagerly." okay girls enough of that, my friend is throwing a birthday party this Friday and I want you'll to come with me. ", Sasha says to us and we all looked at her shocked." y-you mean outside the school!, we are never going to get permission! ", Mabel says to us and Sasha just rolled her eyes." we're not going to ask for permission, we're going to sneak out", Sasha said to us. "you're serious", I say to Sasha and she nods. "you don't need to reply now, give me your answer after school today", Sasha says to us all and we agreed.

after that we quickly got our food from the lunch lady and ate it quickly and then the bell rang signalling the end of our lunch break.

"Good afternoon class, I'm your literature Mr Lewis and today we're going to be taking about a special figure and his name is non other than William Shakespeare. Shakespeare was born in Stratford, United Kingdom on the 26 of April 1564 and died 23 of April 1616. He was married to Ann. he is widely known as an English poet and playwright........ ", I just tuned him out and thought about what Sasha said in the cafeteria. I looked around the class and just sighed, one day and I already felt strangled and with that I've already made my decision.

finally it was 3:30pm and our lecture for the day, we were expected to return to the dorm and so all of us gather in the room me and Jane were sharing. "I'm in", I say to Sasha and the rest of the girls agreed except Mabel but we finally managed to convince her. After that we all dispatched. Jane went to shower and I just stared out the window. my eyes drifted to the steel door near our teacher's quarters. The door was off limits to us all and I don't know why but the rumours has it that inside the steel door was something magical but I just banished the thought and after doing my assignment, studied a little and want for dinner.
