..."I've never been this happier"...

After that incident , Ting haven't appear to the shop . Pearl waited for Ting to come and thanks her properly . Also after that incident the cafe , the customer number increase . The cafe get more busier than before . Its tiring and fun at the same time .

Pearl was on her lunch break . She's looking at her phone and thinking about texting Ting .

"Boo!" Jasper try to spook me from behind . I turned around and laugh . "Is there something wrong ?" Jasper ask me . I shake my head and eat my lunch . "Liar .." He say sarcasticly . I look at him and raise my eyebrow. "I know who are you thinking of right now.." He say and smirk . "If you're thinking about texting that person , just go ahead. It won't cost you anything" He say .

'How did he know I'm about to text someone ? What is he ? What power does he have?' I say to myself and look at him tensively .

"When I look at you , I remembered about my past when I met Max ." He smile and look at the table . "You know , I used to act like this . And think should I text him or no ." He chuckle after finishing his line . Then he look at me . "So that you know that won't lose your chance to know someone that's probably for you ." My mouth stop munching the food . "But its up to you , I'm just giving my opinion . Whatever you think is the best for you I will respect that" He smile and got up . "Enjoy your meal okay , get back to work once you're done ." He tap my shoulder and walk away .

I stare and my phone and Jasper words keep on playing in my mind . "Should I ? I mean , I just want to thank her properly . Nothing more ." When I think about it more , my heart start to beat faster and my stomach is full of butterflies . I look at my phone and open my text with Ting . My finger is typing .... But then .

QianQian - Hii !

Oh she text me first . I look at the text and close the app . Eik why did I close the app ? I open the app and then my mind went blank . "Who am I texting ?" I close the app again . 'QianQian send you a photo' A notification came across when I was about to continue my lunch . I click the notification and Ting picture popped up with another women who appear to be older . It was at some kind of show cast or something .

QianQian - [Photo]

QianQian - Sorry , I haven't texted you for a while .

QianQian - I need to accompany my mom to a fashion show .

PearlLala - Ohh , its okay . I dont mind .

QianQian - Hehe what are you doing?

PearlLala - im on my lunch break .

Hold up , she talk about me to her family ! Oh no my stomach , I feel like I'm going to throw up . Why am I nervous ? Probably her mom mean it by gossiping about me .

QianQian - [Voice message] "She's never that excited to talk about other but you !! I can feel that you guys are soulmate !"

PearlLala - hahaha really .Thnk you for the compliment though . :)

QianQian - SORRY ! That was my mom .

PearlLala - you should eat after that show okay .

PearlLala - my lunch break is over for abit . Bye take care .

She is sort of annoying . I continue to eat my lunch and onece I'm done I got up and go back to work .

After working for the whole day , I got off and walk back to my apartment . I was not that far from here . I stop by to the store to buy some food . I pick up some snack , drinks and noodles . When I was choosing the instant noodle someone bump into me from the back . I turned around without lookoing at that person and apologize . That person bump into me again a couple of time and whisper to me . "You've grown up into a beautiful young lady." A voice that is familiar to me . I look down and a huge flashback came to my mind .

"She's cute ." He say . "I am your grandma and this is your grandpa." Pearl grandma say . "This will be you're uncle ." She introduce one more person . "Hi , I am Jia . call me uncle Jia okay.' That man patted Pearl head . Pear will be staying there because her parents passed away .

''Mom!! mommy!!' Pearl screamed and cried . "Daddy , mommy is in there . She's with Tobby !!!" She scream while in her father arms . Her father placed her at one spot that is save and far away from the fire . "Listen to me , do not go anywhere okay . Daddy will go and save Mommy and Tobby in there . Now.." He grab into his pocket and say "Call the firefighter okay . Say that there's a huge fire ." He say and ran into the house .

Pearl sob and obey her father instructions . She called the firefighter and waited there just like she was told to . "Mommy ... Daddy....Tobby...." She cry and start to sing . "My only...sunshine.....'hik' you make ..... 'hik' me ... happ...'hik .. y when the suns..... are grey...'hik' " She look at her teddy bear which is the only thing that she was holding . "Don't worry babybear. I will protect you.... Dada and Mama will be back soon with Tobby . You will be able to play with Tobby again." She huge the teddy bear and cry even harder . Everytime she look at the house , her heart keep on telling her to go there and save her both parents .

The fire fighter arrived and bring Pearl to the ambulance to check if she hurts somewhere . "Mommy and daddy is in there with Tobby ." She say to the prson who is taking care of her . "I WANT MOMMY !! " She yelled . Once she scream , she saw someone came out from the house . It was her dad with her mom in his arm . She jumped off from the ambulance and run towards them "Pearl !!" Her father scream and fall to the ground on his knees. She was running towards them but was stopped by the police . "MOM !! DAD !!" She scream . Then the house exploded . Pearl eyes went wide and she can clearly saw her father is waving and his body fall to the ground .

"You will stay here with me. Since you are my responsibility. " Pearl grandma say . "All you need to do here is be a good granddaughter and study well ." Her grandma say and kiss her forehead . "Now lets go to your room . " Pearl grandma grab her hand and lead her to her room . "You have no problem sleeping alone right ?" Her grandma ask . Pearl shake her head slowly and look at her grandma . "Thank you." Pearl say to her grandma. "Tomorrow you will attend school , I will bring you there okay ." She say and leave her in the room . Pearl walk towards the bed and sit . She look up and saw Uncle Jia . He walk towards Pearl and sit beside her .

He smirk and say "All you need to do is keep quiet and be a good girl ." He say and his hand touch Pearl thigh .

My eyes went wide and turned around . I was him . He is touching me . His eyes is still the same , Its full of sins and eveil . He licked his lips and look at me up and down a couple of times . "Do you miss me ?" He say . My pupils shrink and I throw the snacks at him and push him as hard that I can and ran to someone . "I'm sorry but please ..." I didn't manage to finish my words because he was already behind me again . "I'm sorry , my girlfriend have a bad temper ." He say and take my hand . I push his hands away and ran off . He chase after me and I bump into someone again . 'Pearl , are you okay ? why are you running ?." I look up and it was Jasper and Max. My eyes was teary and someone held my arm .

"Sorry , she is acting weird because we're having a fight." He say and breathing hard . "Honey , let's go . We'll go home and settle this out okay" He say with a smile . But his intention was not right . It was clearly written in his eyes .

"Tonight you'll be mine ." He say to himself and Pearl also say to herself.

I look at Jasper and Max then at Uncle Jia . I push him and push Jasper and Max towards him so that he fall down and I ran as fast as I can without looking back with hope that he will not chase after me . "NO , I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE!!"
