After the inheritance ceremony, Jinse makes a short trip together with the cute guardian beast of the clan to the neighbouring forest. This was a good place to fastly cultivate but it was also full of unexpected dangers. On the maps drawn by humans, the forest was structured in several sections depending on the level of the monsters that were populating that area. The deeper you sink into it, the higher the difficulty level gets but our heroine wasn't afraid of a new challenge. She was born with a strong character, just like in her previous existence.

As we said before, this forest was a perfect place for a cultivator who wishes to break through the stages of cultivation fastly. Since she entered the forest, Jinse already accumulated ten more levels but it wasn't enough for a perfectionist like her, so she went more deeper toward the center. Once you reach the heart of the forest, you will surely end up into a horrible place because the level of the monsters is insanely high. Too high even for Jinse.

The guardian beast advised her a long time ago to turn back but she didn't listen to it and sealed him into her storing ring.

With every step she was taking further, she could feel a shiver on her back bone and even though she was now thinking to turn back, it was a bit too late. When you reach this point, you're automatically trapped into an illusionary maze created by that space and you can't easily break through its illusion. During the time you're trapped inside countless predators are hunting you down and your last hours of life become a living hell. Many grand masters have lost their lives inside the heart of the forest's trap.

Jinse was only at the forty peak of cultivation and some monsters from that place were more than a thousand years old.

She was already running in circles for a couple of good hours and her strength started to wane from the countless battles against the encountered monsters. Her desperate eyes were saying everything it was to be told. She started to believe that today was the end, she was convinced of that. Jinse wasn't usually an impulsive person but this time her ambition to advance in a short time leaded her to this fatal den of beasts. The young lady neded more power so that she will not be manipulated by the clan's elders in the future.

Now, her sullen silhouette closes her eyes for a second and in that very moment she feels the terrifying sensation of death at her neck but it also stops in the next moment. Am I in heaven, she asks? The young girl fastly opens the eyes and sees the immense leg of a spider blocked by a blade in front of her body. Someone stopped the spider's attack in the last moment.

"Girl, do you have the time to daydream in this place? You must be tired of living or you have already lost your hope, says a man's voice."

She looks ahead toward the zone where the voice comes from and sees a young man caught into a spider web. He starts to talk again....

"As I saved your life, you're indebted to me. So, stop staring at me and give me a hand here if you don't want this spider to eat us both, says the man!"

The young lady cuts the ties around his body and frees him.

"Thanks, says the man!"

"You're welcome, says Jinse!"

"What's your name, he asks?"

"Jinse..."

"What is a girl like you doing in this hell? Aren't you afraid of death, asks the man?"

"I know. It was my mistake. I was too desperate to become stronger and I pushed my luck by adventuring deeper, answers Jinse."

"Oh, I see!

"What about you, asks Jinse? You are not human!"

"I don't know. I think I have been here for twenty years but I don't know how I ended up in this cage. Maybe I am a part of it. I don't have any memory from my previous past. I woke up here. Don't even know my name, says the man."

"That's so sad. You are quite pitiful, says Jinse!"

"Young girl, you're more pitiful than I am but you have good fortune because you found me today! I am your lucky star! Let's team up and maybe we can get out of this inferno! What do you say, girl?"

"It sounds good to me! We need to be allies in this moment, the other things doesn't matter. Can I give you a name, asks Jinse?"

"You think that I need one asks the man?"

"So I can communicate with you better, yells Jinse."

"Fine, fine, you can give me a name!"

"Then, from now on your name will be XinYang! It is fine with you, asked Jinse?"

"Doesn't matter...! It's up to you, says that man."
