A beautiful and outstanding young lady from a powerful clan must take the final test to become the next leader of the clan. Her name was Jinse Yan.

She leaves her residence early in the morning and heads toward the training grounds of her clan. There, the four elders from the Yan clan are waiting for her.

Lady Jinse, step into the primordial field, says one of the elders. The rules are simple, you must defeat all the enemies thrown at you without losing your badge, says the second one.

If you can't succeed today, we must select another candidate to undertake the test next week. If they pass, they'll be the next leaders. Even though you're the legal inheritor, the position of the leader can't stay empty for too long, says the third elder.

Unfortunately, Lord Yan, her father died a couple of months ago during a mission in the demon's territory and the leader's seat remained empty since then. Even though Jinse was young, she was the only child of Lord Yan. If the young lady will fail today, the next candidates will be her cousins.

After many hours of waiting, the door of the primordial field opens and Jinse walks out of it followed by a beast. The beast was the last judge of the test and he decided to follow its master.

She just passed the test and could now take the leader's seat.

"Young lady this is wonderful! You're our next leader! Greetings your ladyship, are saying the elders but she suddenly stop them.

"I am sorry but I don't want to be the clan's leader! My father raised me to be a free person, he never wanted me to become like him. He told me that I can pick up my future and no matter what I choose to do, he will not blame me for that."

"But Lady Jinse, you're the only one who fits this position! Even the guardian of our clan approved it! Who else can take this place if you're the chosen one? (says the fourth elder)

"There are still my cousins but they're still young and inexperienced just like myself. I strongly believe that someone older would fit this position, someone like my second uncle. He's the best choice right now, says Jinse."

"We understand, your thoughts will be taken in consideration and we will soon take a decision. We can't force this into anyone, says the first elder."

"I will take my leave then, says Jinse!"

She leaves that location and heads back to her place. Later, in the same day, Jinse feels like taking a fresh breath somewhere outside the clan's quarters.

This world was full of dangers and it was not ok for a young woman to wander alone outside but Jinse was no ordinary person, she had a high cultivation and her skills were as good as that of the elders and not to mention that now she has made a new friend.
