20 years later.

The times were still peaceful in the human world. Even if calamities were still happening from time to time, the deities were always solving them. Many newly appointed deities were regularly sent to the human realm to deal with the people's misfortunes and in exchange the humans were making offerings as gratitude.

Since that incident twenty years ago, many deities from the heavenly palace have already forgotten about the Sage Phoenix. Only the little bugs from the garden of Eden were still mourning the disappearance of their old mistress. A new guardian was appointed in her place but no one can replace the great Phoenix.

The guardian was one of her old friends, the little dragon fly. In one of the early morning, before the dew got dried, the little bug ran to the wise deity Peacock's home yelling that she has located the Phoenix's soul in the human world. This man, Lord Jin was the phoenix's lover twenty years ago.

His heart started to fastly beat listening to the little dragon-fly's words. "Are you sure my little friend", asked Lord Jin.

"Are you sure that Jinse is still alive?"

"Yes, I am sure! I was never more sure than today, said the little bug.

"The sage Phoenix was reborn in the human world but her soul is not with her, so she has no memories from the time when she was a deity.

The other two parts of her soul are somewhere else. If you want to make her remember the past you must find all the pieces and fuse them back to the original body. You can do that if she swallows a pearl from a silver shell and these pearls can be found in the water clan. Only then she will awaken as the Phoenix deity again."

"Thank you my little friend", said Lord Jin to the dragon fly deity.

Lord Jin was determined to ask permission from the Jade Emperor to leave the heavenly realm and make a trip to the human world. Only low ranked deities were sent there as part of their training or the punished ones. The Peacock was neither that, neither the other, so he had no intention to reveal the real purpose to the Jade Emperor.

The next day, Lord Jin went straight to the heavenly palace and asked to be sent to the human world to appease the conflicts and maintain the natural balance of the universe.

The Jade Emperor was very surprised by his request and hesitated for a couple of minutes to give him and affirmative answer but in the end he didn't find any faults in Lord Jin's desire to go on a trip, so he approved the request telling him that he can return back any time he completes his journey.

Lord Jin respectfully thanked to the Jade Emperor and after leaving the heavenly court he went straight to the gardens of Eden to inform the little creatures there about his departure.

A new adventure will start very soon in the human world.
