A secret revealed (3/?)

After a few hours . One of the doctors came outside and said that we could come in to see Amanda now . I immediately rushed in . I went to Amanda and gently hugged her . I was glad that she was ok . After I let go of Amanda , my mother asked me if she could talk to me outside. And I followed her .

As we were going outside the woman who was talking to my mother came out as well . I thought she had to go somewhere else. But she followed us . When I followed my mother she took me to a weird laboratory within the hospital.

When we got there I asked : Mom , what are we doing here ? She looked down and said : I know you said that you wanted to meet your birth mother when your ready . But , now your family needs you . And your father and i think that you would have a much better life with them . I was about to speak. But my mother continued : Alexa, i know that you have been feeling disappointed and down . And that you have been having mixed feelings about this situation and now Amanda...But I believe that you are better off with your birth mother and father .

I stayed quite for a moment , then I said : ok . When can I meet my birth mother . My mother told me that I cold meet her now . Just then the doors opened and the unfamiliar woman came in . When I saw her . Her eyes filled with tears . My birth mother left , so that we could talk in private .

When my mother left , I asked : Why did you leave me ?

The woman didn't answer.

Tears began to run down my face and I asked : Why did you leave me ?!!

She took a step forward and said : I never meant to leave you... I had no choice.

I sadly smiled . I looked at her with tears in my eyes . Anger in my heart . And I said : You had No choice ?! Every single living thing has a choice ! And even if you didn't have a choice. You could have visited me . You could have called me or even try to get into contact with me . Why did you even leave me at a hospital on my own ?!! I was a child ! A tiny little thing ! And you left me . Why did you leave me ?! What was so Horrible that you had to leave!?! Did you not love me .

She immediately answered : No . I loved you to the moon and back . And yes their was something really horrible. I couldn't risk your life in any way . I couldn't let you go through it . It was my fault and I wouldn't have you , A child go through pain because of me mistakes .

I stepped forward and asked : Whay was so horrible ? What did you do that was so horrible that you couldn't keep me . And why couldn't you at least get in contact with me secretly ??!!!
