When Ember came running, eyes widened in fear.

"Guys! Something happened to Amanda and Oliver." We all immediately ran after her.

But when we got on the top deck, we were all relieved. The two were simply swimming in the ocean with a few dolphins that showed up.

We all laugh realizing that they wanted to prank us. After putting whatever we had in our hands down. We changed and jumped in to the ocean, joining Oliver and Amanda.

My mom and dad went into the ocean, splashing us and diving every now and then. We all had lots of fun, watching the dolphins do tricks.

When it started to turn dark, we went back to our Yacht. Once we showered and met on the second deck, in the lounge room, my dad made his perfect hot chocolate with Marshmallows and Whipped cream.

We all enjoyed the warm beverages, chatting into the night and playing table games.

After a few days we went back to dry land. Oliver and I were sitting in my room, unpacking my bags, when my mother knocked, and came in. She greeted Oliver then asked if she could borrow me from a few minutes. I stood up, gave Oliver a little kiss on his cheek and I left.

When I got into my parent's room with my mother, my father had a picture frame in his hand. When I got further into the room, and closer to him. I realized that the picture frame was me on my first day of kindergarten. I didn't say anything. I walked over to him and sat on the bed.

My dad looked at me, putting the picture frame aside. "Alexa, do you remember the time when you began the second school year and the headmistress moved you up a few grades because you were to smart for the grade you were in ?" I laughed and nodded.

He tried to laugh, but it sounded more like sob. "You went nuts when some of the other teachers thought you were favored by your headmistress because she was a family friend." I chuckled, remembering how said headmistress scolded and fired the said teachers.

But I was the only one laughing... My mother and father did not laugh . My mother came and sat next to me. "Sweetie ,your father and I have something important to tell you." I sat up straight.

"Thus sounds serious." My father sighed and asked, " I want you to close your eyes for a second, and focus on my voice." I looked at father confused, but did what he asked.

"Try to imagine the sound of multiple footsteps, loud chatters, white and blue walls, multiple white coats, a weird medicinal scent, a lady in a white coat with blonde-" I began to groan, as I held my head in hands.

Vivid memories began to play in my head as each of the things my father said fell into place like a puzzle.

The weird scent that always wafts in a hospital, nurses and doctors in white coats, to many voices talking but I can't understand what their saying, blue wall with white lines that feel like a prison, and finally, a woman with a worried expression and two people looking straight forward.

I open my eyes, feeling the hands of my mother on my side. I look at my dad, confused as to why I had such a vision, under the guidance of his voice.

"Why did I have such vivid vision, dad ? I've never seen that- Or at least not to my knowledge." My mother takes my hand into hers and gives me a reassuring squeeze. But, it doesn't help.

"Alexandra, you... aren't our biological daughter. After we had just gotten married, we found put that it would be difficult for us to have a child within the span of five to seven years. We spent days trying, going to different doctors. We didn't want to wait that long to have a child of out own and your mother wasn't comfortable with the concept of a surrogate." My father took a deep breath, letting my mother continue.

"One day we were called to have an appointment with a doctor we didn't even know. Upon meeting this doctor, she sat us down, and offered to make appointments to meet with a span of five months and we agreed with the condition that she would help us conceive. On the last appointment, she had a little girl in fancy clothes with her. We thought that the little girl was her daughter, but we were wrong. She then went on to explaining that the little girl was the daughter of a wealthy family, and had to be protected, thus being raised far from her family. The doctor then went on to explain that we were chosen, after plenty of background checks to raise this little girl until the day she must return to her family. We agreed to raise the little girl, and the doctor helped us conceive within the span of three years.And after going through legal procedures, we adopted the little girl, you."
