PROLOGUE- Nature of the World and Humans

The civilian cheered, "Long live the hero!" i was called a hero by many people since i was introduced by the president as the person who defeated the demon that nearly destroy the country.

Creature's or you can call Monster's like demon's exist in my world, it was full of mystery.

God's bestowed us gift's, power's that can be used to save humanity.

Power to defeat the monster's that keep appearing in my world.

A long time ago, year 1892. creature's start appearing out of nowhere, humanity was losing hope beacuse they didn't have anything to protect themselves or their families.

They didn't have the strength to kill the creature's that massacred them.

But there's a person who did not give up, he didn't hesitate and keep killing the creature's even if he die.

He glow like the sun, that moment he was surrounded by the light, he received a gift from the god. that person was the first chosen.

A person that was gifted by the gods to save the humanity, gifts that are now pass down generation to generation.

There's something called 'Awakening' to those who have enough power to pass down their own gifts to their daughter/son.

Because of it many people have became chosen.

I learned all of it when i was a college student.

I was bullied for being weak, not having any living relative or parents, did not have friends.

Especially for not being a chosen one.

I worked hard, i studied hard. i learned many things about strength and power. I didn't let people word's get to me.

I ignored them as much as i can, enduring the hurtful word's, ignoring the insult revolving my parents who died fighting high rank monster's.

Lot of people look down on me, i was beaten down for not being a chosen.

Many years have passes...

After becoming a hero, i was surrounded by many reporter's day by day, my country reporters to foreign reporters.

I became a hero even though i'm not a chosen one. i still wonder to this day why i'm not a chosen when i became this strong.

My life became complicated when i was introduced as a hero infront of many people's eyes.

"You should be proud when people are praising, admiring and even want to become like you" my friend always said to me.

"it's hard for me, you know im not the type of a person who's willing to become famous, i only want to have a peaceful life" i replied.

Yeah... i want a peaceful life after all the things i have done, i don't want any attention or reporter's trying to interrogate me. i... don't want such title. i don't want all of it except having a peaceful life.

A week later, my team betrayed me, they want to kill me.

All i did was run and hide beacuse i know I can't fight them with artifact's only, i maybe strong but that doesn't mean i have enough power to defeat a chosen.

The other reason I can't kill them is because the president put his trust in me to not kill them and only take care of them.

I cant kill them, I don't even know why they want to kill me so badly.. actually, i want to know why all of these are happening to me.

I got shot in the head for not thinking much more earlier how to avoid all the attack's that was aim my way.

Damn it... "Tch.. this is our hero? pathetic" hatred... the person's voice was laced with hatred.. "seriously? he died already? he only got shot in the head" shut up... "Pathetic, you don't deserve such title" i know that... so shut up already...

that was my death, i.. never thought i would die in such way... but that man's voice seems familiar... i can't decipher it clearly... my vision is blurry... i can't see the person's face...

I close my eyes only to open it again, my eyes fluttered open and i find myself in a strange place.

There was something wrong with my body..

"W-what the hell? shouldn't i be dead?" i ask myself, as i hastily touch my head searching for injuries.

'Just... what in god's name is happening?' i thought at that time, i couldn't believe it, hell! if it did not happen to me i wouldn't believe it.

'D-did i get myself reincarnated?' i thought once more as a wave of headache rush into my head.

If I'm really reincarnated then... i can get revenge and kill those traitors that dare to kill me...

i thought god was cruel to me for giving me a miserable life... but I guess not, i was given a second chance.

if that's the case... I'll become a chosen!.

I will become strong and find that person who killed me!!.

Chosen -> people that was gifted by the god's for being powerful enough to defeat monster's or people that became the monster's themselves.

Power Awakening -> It's a power that you'll have in a young age (5-6). it depends on your situation and strength that you'll receive from your parents or guardian.
