Chapter 3

Lucy's POV:

I woke up late with sunray falling on my face, the warmness gave me relaxation and confidence to face my life.

I got up refresh myself, did some stretches and got a book to read. Reading in morning as soon I get up after finishing nature call and other stuffs, is my routine habit. I don't have any mobile as told earlier I don't have any legal documents. So even in work I tried to manage by acting mute girl. Everyday it goes the same. But I don't get tired, my dream is to get my life back which I lost in past.

I spend two hours reading book and then start the day's work. I got myself ready, locked the window to make sure I can open from outside as well and peep out my door to make sure no problematic men are around. Once, I confirm it, I came out of my home and locked it. I went out to near by restaurants or shops to try to get a job. I nearly covered all shops and restaurants in near by streets and place. But, yes. Getting job is hard these days. I didn't loose hope, I kept searching everywhere I can.

It's mid afternoon now, I got myself some breads and home prepared juice. I sat down near by place to have some rest as my legs are aching. After a while, I started walking again, searching for shop and restaurant, then I saw a restaurant near by as well there is a shop next to it. Something was written on the hanging board. Do I'm not yet used with the local language here, I started to understand the letters.

I went to the shop first, to check if I can get any work there. I saw a lady around in here mid age. I made a smiling face and went near her. I tap on her desk to get her attention. She asked something in her language. So I showed her a note that I carry always. Yes, I asked my previous employer to write me some to show to people as I can't communicate. She looked at it and "Do you understand English? " she asked. I nodded my head as yes. "Good, we currently want a person for cleaning purpose in our restaurant and as well to arrange the products in our shop. I see that you need help and a job. But, I don't know whether you will be able to do that work." I used my hand gesture to communicate with her, saying" I can do it as I need job badly".

She didn't understand so I repeated myself slowly so she could.

"Yes. I got it. But I can't belive on your work until I see.

Come with let me show where you need to work. And I want to know whether you are fine to work whole night." I nodded yes with a energetic smile. All. I need now is a job.

She took me to the place where all cleaning plates, bowls and cups were kept. She said " you can call me Sister. I want you to start your work today. If can finish it soon within an hour or two. We will discuss about your further work." I happily nodded. Sister "you can get all your work things from that above shelf. Call me if you need any help" she left after guiding where to get whatever I want.

I started with full responsibility. I didn't know how one and half hour went. I cleaned everything and tidied my self. I came out see Sister, but she wasn't in restaurant. I heard voice in shop next to the restaurant. I came out and found her commanding on all workers there. I went in quietly and stood behind her few feet away and waited to finish her work. One of the worker saw me and made a question look, that's when Sister saw me (I use sister here, as i don't know her name). She smiled at me and turned towards the worker "I want you to finish this work soon. As we have to make more customers to get attract to our offers." She came near me "have you finished your work, my dear" I nodded with a slight smile. She tapped my shoulder "OK, let me go now I have some work to do. Meanwhile you sit here. I will back in 15 minutes. You can sit on the chair outside the restaurant." saying this she went first. I followed her out of the shop and sat I the chair while she went into the restaurant. I always carry a note pad, if I get bored either I sketch or take notes of what I remember reading that morning. Sister came out after a while I didn't note how long it was. "You can go home today and you can join tomorrow for work. You have to clean the restaurant dish plates and bowls after restaurant closes. So you can come by around 10 PM and start your work. After you have done cleaning, you have to arrange products in the shops not all only few. And need to check if all products are in place. You can leave for home once you have done all your work. As of now we can only pay you basic salary and see how you work in future we will decide later. Now here, have your today wage for the cleaning. " All this time, I was only nodding as she spoke. I was happy, though it was just a basic salary; I meant lot to me. By working harder I can earn more. This might help me to move from the place where I live now.

I went back to my though it's only 6 o clock in eveing. I need to take rest as I will be having load of work from tomorrow. I need work for morning job as well night job. So probably I will sleep for three to four hours daily.

I just slept off due to tired.

Week passed by very quickly, it's almost three months I'm working in the restaurant and with the shop. As well working in morning. Sister appreciated me for my hard work and punctuality.

Today I done with work by arranging the products in store and started working in restaurant.

"Hey, you girl. I heard you live is there no one to take care of my little. Girl" I heard the voice from my back and as well felt a man hand on my hip.

My breath got stucked and was about slap him. But my previous work experience came to my mind.

I just turned over making sure he won't touch me any where else. I put my hand on his chest and pushed lightly in playful manner and gave a sign of I'm busy now, will meet later.

" That's how good girl should be. After finishing your work come to the corner of the street. If you behave well I will take care you, my dear. You can believe my words". I smiled and nodded.

He tap my head and went away.

I kept quite and started working as nothing happened.

It took me long time to finish my work. Once done with my work I took my bag and left from restaurant.

I was almost near to the street corner. I felt a hand on my waist and pulling me. I collided with a person. I just hold his shirt and looked his face. "Oh my angel, I was waiting for you, why you took so long? "

It's same Co-worker who asked me to come hear.

I smiled lightly and pushed him.

He pulled my hand and made a twril, making my back collide on his chest. "I waited so long for you but it's ok. Here as of now have this" saying he gave me a box. "open it angel". Without any hesitation I opened the box and saw a mobile phone. I used my hand gesture to him "why this mobile"

"its for you. Only for you and me. So we can contact whenever we want"

I just gave smile as reply. "It's fine for today. It's late now. We meet here, at same place, tomorrow. Don't be late. I love satisfy you in all way I can" he said it with husky voice.

I just nodded with out any reaction.

"That's good. Now you go home and take rest" saying this left me alone in the street corner.

I just gave a look and a evil smile while seeing him leaving.

Next day, I came earlier; before he reached the same place as yesterday. I finished my job even earlier just to get my self free.

I tried to get some escape ways from the street corner as well making sure no one see me.

I saw a shadow from a long distance, coming towards me. I kept my eye on the shadow even without blinking. Then I realised it was my same co-worker who asked me to be earlier.

"Hey angel. You came earlier. I did I kept you waiting?"

I shake my head as No. "Haaaa. Fine. I don't want to make you wait any longer, I have waited for this day for a long time" saying he hugged me and placed a quick kiss on my temple, before even I could act.

But, still I let him do it. "Baby, your smell is killing me. I want to take you right here. But I want to play some more with your body, before I move to further"

As he said, he brushed his fingers over my hand. I shivered in his touch, he smiled at my action. But still then, I kept quite. As this not the right time to take action.

But he couldn't control himself, and he tried to touch my private part by lower his head, and having his hand on my hip. I used this time as my opportunity.
